Is the First Day
Of the rest of your lives!
Heya Caer Sidi, happy American Thanksgiving!!!!!
I'd like to take a moment to truly reflect on what this holiday originated as and what it means today.
This is to be a day to give thanks for not only the positive things in our lives we are grateful for, but also the not so positive experiences that have shaped us. I urge you this year to explore both positive and negative experiences and understand how each have shaped you into the wonderful person you are today.
Unfortunately Thanksgiving has been built on and prospered from exploitation for... it's whole existence. I just want to bring that focus back today to what Thanksgiving *should* be, and what people hold dear about it. If you'd like to write on the RMB, you are more than welcome to share things that you are grateful for and hold dear. I look forward to the things you all share. Remember: be kind, be gracious, be thankful, not just today.
Loves and turkey legs,

I'm sure they're a really nice place, but we've got our own thing here :3
We have democratic and meritocratic elements, but for the most part, if you work at it, you'll have a good chance of getting it.
I'm not sure if you're just spamming something random or what, but I hope you enjoyed your time in CS :3
Democracy has its flaws. It's not the best regime for every sitaution and place. For example, in the context of a family, decisions should be made by the parents, until the children are old enough to make their own decisions and lead their own life.
I support Democracy in my country, not because I think it's such a great and terrific regime (as I said, it has its flaws), but because all possible alternatives are much, much worse.
I play nationstates in quite a few regions, and one of the best of these is run as a Monarchy. The Monarch delegates authority and responsibility but has the final say. [I won't mention its name here since I don't wish to turn this into a spam/recruitment/region contest/whatever.]
