A Message
Across republican controlled territory, a message begins to play on radios and TVs. The message is from President Tegan Jordan, who has left Montgomery and has not been seen since. The message plays as follows:
“Dear Forestians. Please listen to me. As much of a displeasure as it is to say this, the former rightful government of Forestia will surrender to the power that intervened with no true reason, other than to expand their influence and power.
Please, lay your weapons down. Try to cooperate with your new fascist overlords. It will give you the best chance to survive. Or perhaps, join the communists and continue the war if you feel that you do not want the so called “King” Nicolas and the March Norian Caudillo to rule over you.
Please believe me when I say, as bleak as the situation may seem, the fire of Forestia has not been sniffed out. The fight will continue, this is simply a calm before the remainder of the storm. All great civilizations have had their dark moments of tyranny, before being freed and entering an age of Prosperity.
The United States existes from the want of Freedom. Russia existed under a communist regime before being freed by the rightful heir of the Romanovs. Many suffered under the brute rule of the Ottomans, but were liberated by the west. And, an example closer to home, the masses of France were freed from tyrannical monarchist rule, even with it’s neighbors very much against the ideals of a free Republic.
Please, stop the fight for now, and plan for the future. And may Providence keep you and your families safe under His watchful eye.”
Territory of Talladega
Having now occupied the entirety of Republican Forestia, the Caudillo has installed a new executive order to be carried out in order to properly prepare the area for proper reintegration into the new Kingdom of Forestia, which is by means of reorganizing the whole occupied territory into a coherent, provisional government.
As part of this initiative, the March Norians have decided to select the city of Talladega as the government's seat in light of the destruction of Montgomery, and would form the entirety of Republican Forestia into the unofficially named "Territory of Talladega", which the March Norians shall govern militarily, until either the occupied territory is now fully stable, or until the cessation of the communist insurgency, at which point the entire area shall then be restored to the Kingdom of Forestia.
Maj. General Salvador Cazalla, the overall commander of all 11,000 March Norian soldiers currently present in Forestia, would be temporarily appointed as commissioner for the Territory of Talladega and would be placed with the responsibility of ensuring that all major cities at his command, including the politically important city of Atlanta, remains in their hands. Cazalla is also to be tasked with organizing the armies in order to defeat the militants of both the Neo-Confederate and Socialist factions.
As a gesture of goodwill, the state of March Noria will personally undertake restoration efforts to repair the city of Troy and partly rebuild the city of Montgomery.
Operation Goose Green
With the Republicans now eliminated, the next target to be destroyed in order to fully establish Monarchist presence across the country would be the Socialists ruling from Columbia. A command recommendation would be send by the Caudillo to the Monarchist military, detailing a plan to do an encircling assault on Columbia from Orangeburg and Spartanburg, each being held by or close to the Monarchist and March Norian armies respectively. Such plan would make use of Interstate 85 and Interstate 95, which by current reports are still undamaged, to reach these two designated target cities.
Should the Monarchists approve of this invasion plan, the 3rd and 4th Battle Regiments which conquered Troy shall be deployed at earliest possibility, with the 12th Battle Regiment to again stay behind to enforce stability in the Territory of Talladega, as well as to keep the still active, but relatively minor Neo-Confederates at bay. As had been dictated, all Republicans caught in hiding are summarily executed, whilst those who surrender are spared and taken into secure custody.
TL;DR: The entire territory once owned by the Republicans is now controlled by March Noria until it stabilizes, or until the communists are defeated. Plan to conquer Columbia sent to the Monarchists.
