Just for some expanded details on each rp idea:
- Kaiserreich rp: fairly self explanatory
- Soccer/Football League: We’d each create a team in a league and play either a knockout style competition (similar to the World Cup) or a standard season.
- Cold War: Would be set in a country (leaning towards a Latin American or fictional European country) who’s domestic conflict has attracted the attention of the global powers due to the country’s strategic significance. The main conflict would be between the American backed national government and the soviet backed rebels (would include other factions as well, that’s just the base background)
Tribal idea (both ancient and post apocalyptic): we’d create our own tribes who inhabit the same area/region and are in conflict over vital resources and land. The post apocalyptic one could also include other factors such as ruined cities and towns, old-world technology that is highly valued and sought after, and maybe some sort of mcguffin that is at the center of the conflict, like an old power station or nuclear weapon.
Need to flesh them all out of course
brusseldorf is now the newest province of the kingdom of quelsh
I know nothing of the punty ball sport but i've surmised Glenganese people are fairly football crazy.
i also vote for kaiserroll mp, mp anything, sibyl war, tribes (ancient small area could be old glengo!) i'm always up to make up a nation for a game. I've been playing with an idea like Myanmar~Thailand esque country that would be like crossing just cause 2 with 1960's martial arts movies
all of my nations are quelsh and variants thereof
fun fact: even in the australialia canon evil quelsh exists in an alternate universe

On the bright side of things, I’ve been working on the background and details of some of the rp scenarios instead of doing work. Maybe that’s actually not a positive thing now that I think about it
then do not think about it
Andermor that’s a pacifist, neutral, Bosnian Islamic republic
cursed or blessed???
is this some sort of meme of a raid
They endorsed me lmao. Also they probably saw that my executive powers were seperate to my delegate powers
Quelsh and Brusseldorf
this is what makes it a meme
ju*n gu*ido
Oh no.
You're stuck in an elevator. What do you do?
We're a little overdue for Poll-O'-Clock in Laraniem, but we have returned!
~*~
*if you'd prefer for us not to drop by in your region for our poll run, please tell me so I can avoid any sticky situations.
Hey Hagston, nice flag
Thanks!
Will set up stuff for the rp tomorrow. I’m going with the Ancient tribes idea unless you guys wanna do a tiebreaker poll between that, the soccer one, and the Cold War one. Could be delayed past tomorrow though, am currently very sick
you now have the corovid19... good luck
and unless someone asks me to poll a tiedestroyer poll I do not intend to
kind of wanted to see what
was though
A NEW POLL HAS BEEN MADE AVAILABLE. NATIONS THAT SELECT A POLL OPTION ARE ELIGIBLE FOR A PRIZE.
[smalldisclaimertext]there is no prize[/smalldisclaimertext]
I'm still alive, even if it doesn't feel like it. Thankfully don't have the rona. Anyways, onto the RP.
Setting: The RP is set in the land of Thorum (a name with no real meaning, it just sounds like a setting name). To the west it is bordered by the Tymerian Sea, to the east by the Great Plains of the East, to the north by the Styrman Mountains and foothills, and dominated in the center by the God's Throne mountains, along with various plateaus, fields, forests, and lakes (working on a map, but I'm a bit inexperienced in making them).
For the RP, you're essentially creating your own tribe or group inhabiting this land, with different characteristics and traits. So some examples:
- The Nomads: Though they call themselves a different name in their own tongue, these people have been nicknamed such due to their way of life. Natives of the Great Plains, they lived in various, often feuding clans that traversed the plains, following the herds of the large mammals they hunted. However, this historically divided people have been united under the leadership of a new king, who has led them west to Thorum, following the visions of a Great Shaman. What it is they're looking for or hoping to gain remains a mystery to most inhabitants of the land. Their background affects them in several ways. Their experience on the Great Plains make them excellent horsemen and skirmishers, but their lack of expertise in agriculture could prove a major problem as they seek to feed and supply themselves. Additionally, their status as outsiders leaves them with few friends in the land they now find themselves in, while the different feuds between various clans could cause internal conflicts. What this would translate to story-wise is that this group will have advantages in fighting on flat terrain, and be at a disadvantage in places such as hills or forests. Their food issues and both external and internal tensions could also be the cause for conflicts.
- The Stonemen: Inhabiting the western foothills of the Styrman range, this tribe has been so named due to their perceived technological backwardness and savagery. Their history of raiding the lowlands has further increased their alienation from other inhabitants of Thorum. To save space, what their background means for the story is that while they are behind technologically, they are experts in fighting in hilly and mountainous terrain, as well as raiding and ambushing in the lowlands, though certainly at a disadvantage if forced to fight head-on with a rival force in the lowlands.
(Note regarding technology: the maximum would be Iron Age technology, maybe around the early or mid medieval age at most, though if you guys think that it shouldn't be that far let me know.)
Other ideas could be the expeditionary force of a empire across the sea sent to conquer and colonize Thorum, a merchant republic situated on the coast, a sort of generic medieval kingdom inland, etc. etc. You guys get the idea. However, if you want something different (such as something more akin to ancient Germanic or Native American tribes rather than stuff like imperial expeditions and kingdoms), let me know.
Will be hoping to get the map out soon.
Also if anything is off with my typing, that's probably the fever and headach at work.
Believe it or not, peace has been achieved In quelsh
Conflict Resumes in Quelsh
After the removal of the Serbian presence in Quelsh earlier today, rival political factions began to vie for control of the industrial region now located in central Quelsh. Armed guards were placed in the hopes of preventing a renewed civil war, but their presence instead inflamed anti-communist sentiment and drove the recently rearmed insurgent forces to clash with the personnel stationed in the area. The fight, though vicious, was over soon after it began, with the vastly outnumbered loyalist personnel being compelled to surrender. The anti-communist faction, aligning itself with other elements opposed to the current Quelshian rule, has demanded the recognition of Central Quelsh as a free and independent state not beholden to Quelsh rule and law. The party leader for the Socialist Movement currently in power has affirmed that "the integrity of Quelsh will not be compromised for anything or anyone" and went on to declare that loyalist forces would accept nothing less than the unconditional surrender of the extremists and that should said surrender be less than forthcoming that there would be dire consequences. The Army has been seen mobilising to engage these armed militants, and a peaceful solution appears unlikely.
