While Onyx Front usually orders out on page 10.
But ElinTol orders EXCLUSIVELY Bettisian pizzas sitting in last place!

Which by their definition is a Nanny State where
everything is dictated by the Government with no personal freedoms.
~~Personally I disagree with this interpretation.
~~I believe that conservative is actually the REVERSE!
Either way her is where the US stands.
PC- page two, Onyx- page three, and Elin page four.

YSOU is the MOST conservative, while the Ambassador is the LEAST!

OOC: Conservatism is government so small it sits right on your shoulder (women in America say that it fits in a different part of anatomy). It might not be how that is perceived in the media, but it is how it works on the ground. It is a firm, rigid, quasi-authoritarian framework that punishes divergence. If you want freedom then you want a state that has well funded medical and social services, with social safety nets to allow people to try things and not suffer punitive consequences if they fail. It is a control vs support government apparatus. The former prioritises funding for police, military, security service apparatus; the latter prioritises social, health, education, and environment funding.

But by definition if the Government tells you everything to do- and how to do it- that government is NOT small. Although it can be either extremely centralized (nanny state) or decentralized (generalized guidelines).
Part of the issue is that in Politics (America especially)- liberal, conservative, social, greenie, preppers, the list is eternal- the terms are rarely used as they are defined in the dictionary. They likewise do not differentiate between social and fiscal aspects of these terms. This leads to much strife and discord.
I am fiscally VERY conservative. I take this to mean that I do nothing that I cannot pay for, even if I use credit for the short-term. This results in less money for things like societal change. (What good is a better wage if there are no roads or buses to get the person to the job?)
Now I also believe that there are WAY too many laws on the books. This also impacts the societal parts of government. I believe in the personal choice of the individual or group. This is often hot-button issues like- abortion, prayer in schools, nudity. I think these are important, BUT I do not think that Government should be involved. the individual or the local group should decide.
So you see my trouble. I am personally fiscally conservative, but socially liberal. But because I do not think the laws should even be on the books, folks think that I am socially conservative as well. And the whole 'no government involvement thing' upsets BOTH sides.
Guess I just wish better terminology was used. Today's ranking would have made more sense to me if it had said Government Controlled rather than conservative. Especially since they seem to be only looking at the social and not the financial.
Ok. Sorry. Off the soap box. But I am TRULY confused by this seeming dicodomy.

But hey, I'm not going to stop anyone who wants to
spend their money on saddles and swords, rather than jets and missiles.

ElinTol also claimed a place on the first page.
Madrocea though needs to buy more bullets and hay.
