# SpekeX launches first successful orbital launch of ION! :rocket::partying_face:

On Thursday, at 10:49am, SpekeX launched another launch attempt of the ION rocket with the aim of getting the rocket into Low Anterian Orbit.

The ION rocket completed 2 full orbits around Anteria and the upper stage completed a deorbit burn for a landing at the Wielek Launch Complex. SpekeX hoped to land both the booster and the upper stage, but neither landed successfully. The booster for the ION rocket crashed into the ocean off the coast of Wielek, whilst the upper stage almost landed successfully, however failed to return to an upright position before landing.

The departments working on the rocket have considered this test launch a great success, stating that "valuable data has been gathered from this launch, such as how the stages perform on re-entry, and many other vital pieces of information we need to polish the prototypes so we can develop a final model of the ION rocket sometime in the near future."

PRESIDENT PELIKÁN HOLDS A PRESIDENTIAL PRESS CONFERENCE IN THE NATIONAL HOUSE BRIEFING ROOM
Highlight summary

Good afternoon everybody,

Today I want to adress several issues and won´t take any questions unfortunately due to my tight schedule. Today I stand before you in a time of heightened tensions and regional instability. As the leader of the Veligrad Pact, Morrawia is committed to ensuring the security and prosperity of our allied nations and a region as a whole. The recent actions of Cordomonivence regarding the Taubon Strait have brought us to a critical turning point, one that demands both open mind and decisive action from our government and the alliance, especially now, when the state of war has been unleashed between the two nations.

...

I must first address the ineffective role played by the Universal Peace Enforcement Organization, or UPEO. Time and again, we have seen UPEO fail to take meaningful action in the face of blatant violations of international law. Their inaction has allowed aggressors to believe they can operate with impunity, undermining the very principles that UPEO was established to protect. However, let me be clear: Morrawia will not get involved directly and militarily in this conflict. We believe in diplomacy, in dialogue, and in the power of collective action within the framework of the Veligrad Pact. While we bolster our Western Fleet for security reasons, this move is purely defensive. Our intention is to safeguard our nation and our allies, not to escalate the situation.

...

To dispel the fog of uncertainty, my next words are binding and final. Morrawia stands firmly with Yugoslavia! The rights of international passage through the Taubon Strait are clear and undeniable. This strait is not just a regional issue; it is of international importance. Cordomonivence’s actions pose a significant threat to the security of our region as a whole. By denying Yugoslav ships access to this vital waterway and subsequently to one of their core territories, they not only undermine international law but also endanger the stability we all strive to maintain. For some time now, Morrawia has been supplying Yugoslavia with the necessary support to ensure its defense and sovereignty. This is not an act of aggression but one of solidarity. Our support is a testament to our commitment to the principles of justice and international cooperation.

People often ask me: Marcel, are you for peace? And I answer. Of course I am for peace, because peace means stability, stability means growth, growth means opportunity, and opportunity is the basic pillar of THIS Republic of Morrawia, our great nation, always was and will always be and we will let no one take that from us, not now not never!

...

To end my thoughts, let me reiterate, Morrawia calls on all members of the Veligrad Pact and international community to unite in addressing this crisis. We must work together to ensure that international law is respected and that the rights of our allies are protected, so that it is not only on us, but on other nations to take action and on progress we can work on in the days and weeks ahead.

Thank you everyone and God Bless you.

2 Localities of Cordobenza were bombed after 3 unidentified Yugoslav military ships got close enough and fired their naval artillery guns on the city
CNINS, 12:40 Monday June 17 2024

Today, terror would reach the city of Cordobenza, the Cordobez capital, when around 9 in the morning of yesterday, 3 medium-sized Yugoslav ships entered the Taubon Strait and approached the city and then bombarded it for several minutes and then flee, leaving 15 dead and up to 78 injured, all civilians.

After bombing 2 localities in the city, the Yugoslav ships turned around to return the way they came, all of them managing to escape while one was slightly damaged by machine gun fire from the coast guard. This attack was immediately investigated by the FIAC to find out how was it that the ships were not detected and intercepted. The investigation was ended quickly after it was discovered that the radar and UAV operators that had effectively detected the Yugoslav ships when they entered Cordobez waters, did not report this to the coast guards or navy for unknown reasons.Likewise, the workers involved were immediately fired and are now suspected of being put on trial.

After the attack, emergency services rushed to the affected areas to rescue the population trapped in the rubble and so far, 15 deaths and 78 civilians have been reported injured in addition to various damages to several buildings, roads, parks and ports. President Porsche completely condemned the Yugoslavian State for this attack, declaring it as a bombing without any strategic or tactical meaning other than to kill innocent civilians, calling Yugoslavia "a completely inhuman state." In addition to these statements, President Porsche assured that this action would be responded to by Cordomonivence.

Other news
• Offensive operations against guerrilla groups have been freezed indefinitely.
• Air bombing alarms and anti bombing bunkers have been officially installed in most main cities of Cordomonivence.

Government Response to the Incidents in the Taubon Strait
STMA, Sacilio: Monday, June 17, 6:30PM
Le Stat-Tyrelliga Media Agencia- Sacil, Mona, Jun 17

In response to the incidents regarding the Taubon Strait, the Tyrellian Armed Forces has deployed two destroyers and a frigate to the Strait of Mira from its island of Venato in order to keep the peace in the local area. Local witnesses on Venato have reported hourly flyovers of large aerial formations consisting of M-22 "Marina" and RK-80 "Marcus" combat aircraft alongside various helicopters all belonging to the Tyrellian Ground Force and Navy. The air force has announced that a large portion of its missile assets have been placed on standby until the situation de-escalates. The premier of Tyrellia has announced that no merchant activity or trade will be impeded by these maritime patrols.

Cybersecurity Lawsuit Settled

In other news, a case from late 2019 has been resolved- where a citizen, then aged 13, was fined 6,000 tymans for the use of TorrentVPN, a VPN service popular within Tyrellia, to access "inappropriate and morally bankrupt content"; namely, right-leaning political forums. The resulting backlash from this act resulted in the TCA (Tyrellian Cyber Authority)'s powers being rolled back and reprimands issued to the officers who issued the fine. However, the citizen- Now aged 17-'s parents put a civil case against the TCA for invasion of privacy, alleging that the teenager's laptop was accessed without knowledge or permission by a TCA agent at a cafe in Sacilio while he was using the bathroom, and also for malpractice, claiming that the TCA later arrested the teenager when he was returning from school, in public, handcuffing him, in direct violation of the TCA's policy of home visits and no-cuff detainments.

The TCA has denied these allegations, but lately a Supreme Court hearing instigated by the Lower Politburo has found the TCA liable for malpractice, and ordered the agency to issue a public apology admitting to their actions, along with 36,000 tymans of compensation.

Gun Control Debated by Politburo

Following a lethal shooting in the country's south, in the city of Aureus, that killed 7, the Upper Politburo has considered tightening gun control laws; whereas currently, citizens are allowed to purchase and hold semi-automatic pistol-caliber (9mm) firearms with a maximum capacity of 12 rounds.
"In light of recent events," Speaker for the Politburo, Eduard Rosetta, said earlier today, "We have been forced to reconsider the legality of firearm ownership in Tyrellia."

The proposed change would restrict firearms ownership to those 25 years or older, instead of 18; in addition, extensive background checks and mental health screenings could be conducted on prospective buyers.

Government takes stance on war in Severje!
Ca Luo Daily, 2024年06月17日

This morning, after the first few days of the conflict in Severje, the Federal Communist Government of Sukong has issued the following response:

“We have decided to temporarily freeze our ties with both Cordomonivence and Yugoslavia. We extend help to any of our citizens or individuals aligned with the Socialist cause to seek help at one of our embassies in either one of the affected nations, if in need of help, in cases such as flights back to Sukong getting canceled or political persecution. We have allocated funds to help anyone seeking urgent help in either of these countries, especially the province of Severje in Yugoslavia.” said the Executive Spokeswoman Ma Qiao.

“We strongly condemn the actions of Cordomonivence and Yugoslavia, and consider it as an attack on international peace and stability. We ask them to stop the conflict and consider a peaceful solution to the war which is only hurting regular people whilst aiding the elites. We are open to helping once again bring peace to the Taubon Strait and Marmor sea, but most importantly the people of Yugoslavia and Cordomonivence.” The Government is yet to announce any further action, although most expect some sort of aid to be delivered to the citizens of Severje.

Republic condemns war in Severje. Calls for "worldwide worker's protests against brutality" by Newsroom, 18 de Junio 2024, 18:32.

In a press conference to national and international journalists, Diego Alejandro Ureña, Minister of Foreign Affairs, made known the official stance of the People's Republic about the ongoing conflict in Southern Thrismari. "We firmly condemn the conflict in the province of Severje, as yet another example of how the bourgeoisie and the ruling class in many countries are more concerned with securing profits over the welfare of the working class. Some of them resort to the persecution of any who may threaten their interests, in light of this, we extend our solidarity to our comrades and the working class in both affected countries." Additionally, the minister announced that embassies and consulates in both countries would remain open and offering political asylum to persecuted socialists and communists, effective immediately.

In a later speech, Alejandro Espina Coronil, General Secretary of the CPM, called for "worldwide protests against the brutality in Southern Thrismari by social organizations and parties, through the week and the weekend." The Workers' Central Union, Union of Revolutionary Youth and the Association of Combatants of the Montillan Revolution called for protests against the war to happen on Friday, both in the country and the allied diaspora. The Communist Party has called on socialist, communist and left organizations around the world to condemn the war as well, as well as calling for protests. "The working class must show its force, do not allow tyrants and warhawks to kill us no more." said the official note.

Lak Poeng Ca’s meeting with Morrawia’s Marcel Pelikán

Today, we at Lou Kea Exclusive, have had an excellent and once in a lifetime opportunity to craft an exclusive report on today’s visit from Morrawia’s leader himself, Presiden Marcel Pelikán.

Today, the two leaders met for the first time in Mr. Pelikán’s presidency. Our dear leader first greeted President Pelikán at the Ca Luo Private Diplomatic Airport, from where they were then transported to The Residence, where talks regarding The Severje War took place. According to our reputable sources, they both agreed on the importance of re-establishing peace in the region, with its citizens now living in daily uncertainty and fear of when a missile may strike near or when they may run out of food. Both Presidents also agreed on delivering aid to Severje in case of food shortages, which they fear could soon become a reality.

Shortly after noon, they made their way through a parade in Sukong’s Federal Capital City, with over 25 million residents, on their way towards the small mountain town of Lou Ping Koung, which is home to the world’s largest Buddha statue, the Golden Vairocana Buddha Monument standing at an imposing 128 meters (420 feet), where they discussed many topics with the locals, who were ecstatic to meet them both.

At around 6pm, the leaders went to the nearest large city, in which an aircraft back home was arranged for Mr. Pelikán, who left back for home after saying his goodbyes to Federal President Lak Poeng Ca and expressing his wishes to visit Sukong again in the near future.

Heightened State of Emergency

The TAPP has been pushed out from the edges of the Gabilian Range to the Marmor Sea, where they've holed out in abandoned civilian and industrial structures. The use of armored vehicles has proven difficult as insurgents have armed themselves with ATGMs and other forms of anti-armor weapons since the capturing of 3 military bases, now back under the control of the Yuguistani Army.

Ístvaniach, the Chief Commander of the Ground Forces, said that he doesn't plan on sending in tanks or any more armored transport to assist the troops on the ground, as doing so could risk the bulk of the ground force's capability. Instead, he has requested the use of the Air Force to level the Insurgent's positions, and for the meanwhile, has suspended any further operations to attack the TAPP by ground.

The TAPP has had more reach into Yuguistan than Kruso lets on. Earlier this week, several bomb threats were made to Kruso and the remaining members of his cabinet, and as such Kruso had ordered a "Heightened State of Emergency", calling on the reserve forces to occupy the streets of Yemmak and uphold curfew on the city's residents. Days passed, and the Heightened State of Emergency still stands, as Kruso says that "...the insurgents have gotten desperate, and any threats made by them should be taken seriously, as eventually one of these threats may not be a phony, we need to be prepared for anything and everything for victory."

With the front in the West coming to a standstill and a potential risk of targeted attacks by Husan loyalists, the situation has only gotten more dire with both sides drawing more on edge.

BDC ANNOUNCES QUARANTINE OF 5 TOWNS IN SOUTHERN PALLAINE

PALLAINE, MORRAWIA - In a highly anticipated move, the Bureau of Disease Control has placed five towns in the southern region of Pallaine under a light quarantine due to an outbreak of an unidentified disease. The towns affected are Teník, Warṡaw, Nowá Lhota, Králúw Dwúr, and Kolmonice. This decision follows the deaths of five individuals and a rapid increase in reported cases, prompting immediate action from the BDC and a deployment of medical units from the Pallaine´s National Guard by Governor Kraus.

The outbreak, which began two weeks ago in the small town of Teník, where the first fatality was reported has since then spread to the neighboring towns, with over 200 confirmed cases. Symptoms include high fever, severe respiratory distress, and neurological complications. Despite rigorous testing, the exact cause and nature of the illness remain unknown.

Local hospitals are overwhelmed, and the government has mobilized additional medical personnel from across the state to provide support. Local EMS and other local authorities are working tirelessly to manage the crisis. The quarantine measures include restricted travel to and from the affected towns, mandatory health screenings, and temporary closure of schools and public gathering places. Residents are advised to stay indoors and limit social interactions. Essential services remain operational, but under strict sanitary guidelines.

Dr. Jana Kowáċowá, director of the BDC, stated in a press conference: “We are dealing with a highly unusual and concerning situation. Our priority is to identify the pathogen and prevent further spread. We urge the public to follow all guidelines and report any symptoms immediately.”

In addition to this, lower courts are flooded with disgruntled citizens and the quarantine, alongside other medical decisions on the ground are to be challenged at the Council of State in the coming weeks eventually.

In a first statement by the National House, Press Secretary Rosengart addressed the press, expressing deep concern and solidarity with the affected communities.

“Our hearts go out to the families who have lost loved ones. The government is taking all necessary steps to ensure the safety and health of our citizens. We have mobilized all available resources, and our scientists and other federal and state professional are working around the clock to identify the cause of this outbreak. We ask for your cooperation and patience as we navigate this challenging time.”

While the exact origin of the disease remains a mystery, several theories are being investigated. Some experts suggest it could be a novel virus, possibly zoonotic in origin, given the proximity of the affected towns to dense forest areas. Others speculate about a potential link to contaminated water sources, as initial cases were reported near local wells.

Dr. Milan Liwinský, an infectious disease specialist, commented: “We are exploring all possible avenues, including environmental factors and potential animal vectors. Public health measures are critical at this stage to prevent a wider outbreak.”

The light quarantine has significantly impacted daily life in Teník, Warṡaw, Nowá Lhota, Králúw Dwúr, and Kolmonice. Streets are eerily quiet, with most residents adhering to the stay-at-home orders. Local businesses are struggling, and there is a growing concern about the economic repercussions.

Anna Beranowá, a resident of Nowá Lhota, shared her experience: “It’s a frightening situation. We’re trying to stay calm and follow the guidelines, but it’s hard not knowing what we’re dealing with. The support from the National Guard and health workers is reassuring, but we hope for answers soon."

We are currently gathering more information at the scene of the quarantine.

# Spekeans celebrate summer solstice!:sunny::anteria_thuadia:

Spekeans celebrate summer solstice each year, with it being declared a national holiday, many Spekeans go out and celebrate the longest day of the year by having barbecues with friends and family, or taking the time to relax and enjoy free time off work or school by watching some television or going on a long summer walk.

What is a solstice? A solstice is a time when the sun reaches its most northerly or southerly excursion relative to the equator. Spekeans have been celebrating this celestial event for dozens of years now, rooted in Speke's long astronomical history.

Spekeans celebrated the solstice this year by watching the Speke vs Morrawia football game played in Sczesczołiszin, with Speke coming out on top with a 3-1 win. Speke first conceded and Morrawia was up 0-1 in the first half, until the 52nd minute where Adamczyk scored to equalise, and then later on in the 86th and 89th minutes, Zawadzki scored to win the game for Speke, ending with a score of 3-1!

Abductions across Bakyern

International Rights Watch
25 Hiigar 2420 | 25 June 2024

A 'Frilen Night' has, according to anonymous insider sources, occurred four nights ago involving a string of abductions and police arrests backed and overseen by the National Unity Party in what is a purge of both reported opponents of the government and party membership. 4 named individuals have been reported to be abducted, but sources claim that dozens more are off-records.

The IRW was alerted by an individual from now on referred to as 'Source 1' of a leaked Napo-NSS communique referring to an event referred only as the 'Frilen Night'. This communique included details of various 'state threat individuals' on 'Security Watchlists'. Source 1 explained the existence of the Security Watchlist - a watchlist seemingly use by the NSS to mark potential political threats specifically, not public safety threats. 'Source 2', a government employee corroborated the existence of the Security Watchlist, elaborating its semi-secretive nature, being sparsely mentioned in public and only being referred to keep watch on terrorists.

This tip was two week ago, and four nights, this so-called 'Frilen Night' occurred according to various tips and insider sources the IRW thankfully has access to. A 'secretive' national operation spearheaded by the NSS and supported by the Napo targeted dozens of individuals of specific categories nationwide. Four have been confirmed missing as now and assumed abducted by the Bakyernian Government, three of which are political opponents to the NUP. However, one was infact a leadership member of the National Unity Party itself, either a District Leader or Regional Secretary.

Various of the same tips also reported that dozens more are 'possibly' abducted, but this has yet to be confirmed by the IRW. While this may seem like the usual crackdown by the authoritarian NUP, its nationwide jurisdiction and targets are, at best, not the kind the NUP would usually go after, especially not one of their own.

The IRW will report on this as soon as any information comes out.

Current progress of the Armed Forces of Cordomonivence in the current conflict with Yugoslavia
CNINS, 15:30 Wednesday June 26 2024

After the start of a Yugoslav offensive in the national territory several days ago, the national army began to work hard to stop the Yugoslav advance. This defense by the army has been slightly complicated for different reasons, but here we will show the results in the 4 Operation Fronts designated by Supreme General Julian Weigand.

• 1.- Front, Veriba:The Yugoslav offensive on this front did not manage to advance much, this mainly due to the good concentration of forces that the 57th armoured infantry regiment maintained in the area and the great support of the 43th artillery regiment which carried out counter-battery operations and efficiently slowed down the Yugoslav advance.
Even so, the Yugoslav forces managed to advance significantly and for this reason, the 21st armoured infantry regiment and the 9th artillery regiment stationed in the port city of Veriba were called to support the other 2 regiments in recovering the territory occupied by Yugoslavia. These reinforcements have been effective after a good part of the occupied territory has been recovered, but the regiments in this area are still fighting to completely liberate the Veriba front from Yugoslav occupation.

• 2.- Front, Krip:Due to the large numerical difference at the beginning of the Yugoslav offensive, the advance of the enemy forces was significantly large compared to the first front, forcing the 2 regiments in the area to retreat several kilometers. Due to this precarious situation, the 41st armored infantry regiment and the 3rd tank regiment stationed at the Ferres Harrisson military base were called to serve as reinforcements and stop the Yugoslav advance.
With the arrival of these 2 regiments, the numerical difference between both sides was considerably minimized and the Yugoslav advance was mostly slowed down and stalled, but not having much success in the mission of recovering the occupied territory, managing to recover only small parts.

• 3.-Front, Vadrak:As in the second front, in the third front there is a great numerical difference between the Cordobez forces and the Yugoslav ones. Taking the city of Vadrak as a reference, to the north the Yugoslav advance was significantly smaller thanks to the good defense made by the 5th tank regiment, which has managed to slow down the Yugoslav advance in the north. In the west the Yugoslav advance was slightly greater due to the Yugoslav superiority in numbers but even so, the defense has remained mostly stable.
The east is where its been worst for us, with our forces being completely outnumbered and forced to retreat and abandon much of the territory, for now, the defense remains tough in this direction. With this, the army forces in the area have not been able to have the luxury of counterattacking and recovering territory, being forced to maintain a strong defense to avoid the capture of the city of Vadrak, capital of the state of the same name, although for now, the city has managed to stay away from the battle front for several kilometers, except in the east.

• 4.-Front, Varenki:This front, focused mainly on the Varenki Plateau region, has not seen offensive operations by any side, but Cordobez troops have begun to carry out regular artillery bombardments on the Yugoslav troops stationed near the border, using UAVs as reconnaissance to locate bombing targets.

For now, air support elements for ground troops have been limited to utility and attack helicopters, this action being an attempt to avoid the loss of fixed-wing aircraft by Yugoslav SAM systems. But, with the great need of ground troops for close air support, it has been seen that both surveillance and air interception operations and ground attack operations to eliminate SAM systems have begun by fighter squadrons, using the multirole fighter KAT-18 Sparrowhawk and according to several images, also the stealth fighter ZU-122 Imperial eagle . These operations with the purpose of gaining air superiority in Severje and beginning the regular use of close air support for ground troops

PRESIDENT-ELECT ALEJANDRO ESPINA GIVES POST-ELECTION SPEECH; SPEAKS OF WIDE SOCIALIZATION AND CONSTITUTIONAL REFORMS by Gabriel Ortega, Domingo, 30/06/2024, Año 66 de la Revolución.

One week after the national elections were held, Alejandro Espina, president-elect of the People's Republic, decided to give the nation the traditional post-election televized speech. In the apperance, the General Secretary thanked the population for their continued trust in the PCM and the socialist revolution, and claimed there was a still a long road ahead of them. Alejandro Espina talked about his proposals, where he proposed further socialization of state-owned organizations and constitutional reforms to increase popular participation and the efficiency of the people's democracy.

"We must start walking towards communism, in order to do this, I will propose and act towards the further socialization of state-owned organizations, including but not limited to mass media, higher education, transportation, healthcare and various industries. Also towards the goal of communism, we will promote constitutional reforms to enshrine referendums and plebiscites as important tools to vote and approve legislation, along with a modernization of the electoral system involving electronic voting." said Alejandro Espina.

The speech was popular among the audience, with 74% approval in an online poll conducted by the Institute of Radio and Television. Despite the popularity, the speech bothered the party's old guard, who consider that the country is not yet ready for the transition towards advanced socialism and claim that the process should be slower. The old guard lost force in the 2024 national election, which was notable for the lowest number of reelections in the National Assembly since 2008, 245 reelected seats out of 550.

In addition to the constitutional reforms, Alejandro Espina called for increased cooperation among socialist powers and a 'renewed campaign for worldwide spread of the proletarian revolution'. "We will go back to the original diplomatic policy of solidarismo, we will strive to help the working class emancipate itself across the entire world, be it by any means necessary. Montilla will once again become a lighthouse for the oppressed peoples of the world, leading them to the safe haven of socialism and liberation from imperialism. The list of selected ministers will be announced in the coming days".

Upper House Legislation outlaws teachings of religions in school.
1/July/2024
Rejiman Alternative News

The Rejiman Upper House Legislation today has passed a bill forbidding any public library, School, private school, or homeschool teacher from having the Holy Bible, Hebrew Bible, Septuagint Bible, or any other religious texts in their studies, this is part of the long term policy Non-discriminate schooling which spans almost 40 years being first enacted during Hikudo Moju. Who was adamant at progressing Rejima into a prosperous nation with the most modern egalitarian policies.

Many parents and school boards have protested against this move however the NIDD and local Rejiman police authorities have said they will arrest and take away the children of every parent that protests against this change with there reasoning being that protesting against this policy makes any parent unfit to raise a child.

As of right now there are 15,000,000 religious texts that are in circulation in schools and public libraries, and many private libraries have offered to buy off these religious texts instead of them being seized by Rejiman authorities and being held for whatever Rejima has planned for seized religious texts.

UPDATES ON SERISJEL MINE DISASTER
Nyalan News Network

After the collapse of an entrance in the Serisjel Lead Mine in Flipana, efforts are underway to rescue those trapped. According to mine records, 67 miners are trapped within the mine, with 43 of these being free workers and 24 being convict laborers. The entry shaft to the mine remains in operation, with the collapsed roof section being located roughly 40m inside the mine.

Several worker eyewitnesses who were on the secure side of the tunnel stated that the "rebar creaked and bent before the roof came crashing down". Families of the miners trapped inside have additionally claimed that their family members would complain about subpar maintenance standards kept by the mine's owners. Investigations have been called for in the collapse, although these will likely not begin until after the workers inside are rescued.

Engineers on site are working tirelessly to determine the thickness of the crumbled roof in order to determine a course of action for rescuing the miners. Although it is believed possible that the crumbled section could be dug through, the Selalaani government is working to lease a drilling rig capable of creating a vertical shaft into the mine. Though the miners are believed to have several days worth of oxygen within the tunnel, it has been determined that the most important action is to secure a line of communication and oxygen with the miners. A local Perisighali priest has been assigned to the rescue group as well, working divination rites in order to assist engineers in determining a solution.
