Women's world cups aren't held at the same time as mens. Also, because of misogynistic policy, a lot of countries don't have women's teams or they're drastically underfunded.

This is typically because most don't believe Women's sports are as entertaining. As such they make less money, and thus are underfunded. But I digress.

Also I'm in.

Alright folks, I'll start making the brackets. Based on the number of people we have in Anteria I'll set the brackets for 16 instead of 32, but if we get enough people I'll raise it back up to 32.

Day 4 of Protests in Jabiyah
Protests in Jabiyah have entered into their fourth day. It is reported that overnight as many as thirty thousand people have gathered outside the Vultesian Embassy to protest the mistreatment of members of the LGBTQ+ community in Vultesia.

An online fundraiser hosted by Pride GS to cover costs for those injured, killed and arrested during protests in Wellsenfaile has reached GSD $2.5 million over night.

Pride GS has criticised the government for its' refusal to comment about it's continued arms trade with Vultesia. Meanwhile, People's Action Party leader Michael Helu has been widely criticised across Gassasinia for what he described as "support to destructive rioters in foreign lands."

Police Commissioner Fares Lahad and the prime minister have outlined a plan to assign more resources to the National Police to combat hate crime. The Ministry of Health and Social Care has announced its' own plans to work with LGBTQ+ charities to provide care to LGBTQ+ persons who have been abused or targeted for their sexuality and gender identity.

(!) GRT is a state media company of the Gassasinian government.

No worries, I'll be managing all of it. I'll go over the details in the discord this weekend

Well, what has passed has come to pass. But nevertheless, we go on. Seeking for salvation.

The first of the Qui Latinean engagements in Isshiki would prove a proper theory about the agricultural and domestic combat thought up by Mufakir Muthamar correct. The concept included several tactics centered around hiding in plain sights, such as hiding in wheat fields till the moment was right; The strategy of which immediately became a staple of the group's tactics during the battle. Satisfied, he began to organize his platoon a bit more rigorously; Each vehicle and man would be in the correct position for the offensive.

Although it takes the designation of two platoons, a few more units were available at the battle; Including three scout variants of the famous Ikha that slowly made their way into the 2nd Scout Bn through precise relocation of some of the first produced. A single M18A3 MBT and two RPMPs from the 4th tank Bn. The directive was clear, move forward into the agriculturally developed regions, take next to no losses, and make a breakthrough. Firstly each infantry squad was ordered to different fields and told to take the positions; while the scout Ikhas moved ahead of them. Admittingly simple orders those lower down the chain of command knew what to with them.

The instructions weren't all too clear either; Each squad leader ferried information back and forth until they agreed. The plan included the capture of specific roads and other wheat fields to use for further ambushes; The scout vehicles and the tank would form a scout unit that would wrap around and through the crops to provide visage of the entire battle. Mufakir looked over his troops as they crawled into formation; He was hiding in a barn looking from the window. The commander of the scout regiment asked to provide a report.

'I rode in one of the newest vehicles in my military, while sophisticated it proved cramped,' said Rajul Fadila, designated commander of the scout group, 'I ordered the vehicle to make a turn right as I peered out the right viewport.'. 'The vehicle came to a stop; I looked around at my fellow crewmen. I waited for the signal,' reported Rajul. 'The radio buzzed, and we were told to carry out our objective. I picked up the receiver and told the rest of the regiment the situation; They kicked into gear and most of the battle started to shape around me.'.

'My crew nodded, I heard as the engine revved back up, soon I was looking forward through a second viewport. I could make out a few positions, including three insurgents in a bush further ahead,' wrote Fadila. Somewhere in between these moments, the notepad passed to the gunner, Mazarie Qamh. Mazarie wrote, 'I was alerted of the presence of enemies in a bush front of me. My sights lined up with the target; I felt the thud of the .50 cal shake bullet cases in and out of the machine. The crawling stopped, though I could almost catch them reporting our movement in the area over the radio.'.

'I looked to my right; There was some forceful straw-colored wave that moved through the wheat. Although I knew what it was, it was my comrades ready for the fight of their lives, the first of many they'd see here,' Mazarie jotted, 'It was the moment the enemy bobbed up and was ready to fight that my friends were ready to ambush.'. Mufakir wrote, 'It was like a wave, it blew over the wheat, then it stopped when it something too hard. The wave thinned out at the edges and I could see every man laying down ready for the enemy to come.'.

After that, no more writing was put into the notepad by Mazarie or Rajul. Everything else relied on the report from Mufakir, which was very persistently detailed. 'For about 2 minutes we sat waiting until we spotted some vehicles above the ridge. Probably a forty-man force, all motorized. They drove down the middle road, almost asking for the ambush; Halfway down, two kilometers from they spotted our recon regiment; Then they split up into two separate groups down other crucial roads.'.

'My best guess is that they wanted to face us head-on with one and flank with the other. My reaction was to order the mortars and javelins to set up wherever the squad commanders felt best. I'll give them suggestions, although I trust their judgment. I watched as the shells landed near the enemy vehicles; The enemy from which spread out like ants, crawling and checking each way. Our forces leaped into action.'

Then we got a report describing the guerilla warfare that happened afterward from Alaietida Almut, squadmate under Karimat Aleanab. 'I pointed the front of my gun forward, and my eyes followed the pic rail down to the iron sight at the end of the barrel. Bullets spat around at my left and right as I squatted and took the shots I could; Watching as the enemy fell to the ground like goats scared enough to play dead. I shook left and right at the sounds of chaos, all the while a machine gun opened fire on my position. I caught a bullet to my left arm, and it hurt like hell; I ran from the spot covering my flanks. After another fifty or so bullets range through the air back and forth, all I saw in front of me was corpses.'

At the battle 22 Qui Latinean soldiers got injured, 54 insurgents killed, 15 surrendering insurgents, and the loss of two mortar emplacements in the Qui Latinean force. It led to the capture of the crossroads, which would alloy more offensives to mount from the position.

That was way faster of a response than I was anticipating, but thanks for clearing it up. Had fun with the rps with Hadian, but it is understandable how they'd crossed the line in the roleplay.
