Just one.

People have blown this subject out of proportion. No one is changing everything. This isn't a coup d'etat or dynastic replacement, it's a simple few alterations to the present form of government. To improve it and get people involved more in their community

We will now be moving on to a different topic. Gryllus, You have expressed a desire to make alterations to the Cursus Agorarum. Could you elaborate?

Well it's really very simple. The idea of the Senate and the purpose it plays, as far as functionality, is for lack of a better word: bad.
I will look to make it easier for candidates to gather information on their office and make it simple to progress through the ranks-but not too easy

Mole, what's your opinion on the senate and the cursus agorarum? do you think it works?

Look, it fits in a box.

Mole slides the regional government in and out of a cardboard box

I bet we could drown it in a bathtub if we wanted and it'd hardly put up a fight.

Nibbles on a senator

Plus, it's good for you. All part of a complete nutritious breakfast.

Whether or not it 'works' is a matter of opinion.

Does it interfere with my being a chat spaz? Only on occasions like this. Do I have recurring nightmares about maintaining an off-site forum? Not any more. Is my telegram in-box over-loaded with poorly-punctuated, ill-conceived messages from pre-teens with an absurdly expensive phone? More than I'd like.

But it does not consume my life. Nor should it consume yours.

That 'works' for me.

Alright, If neither of you have anything else you'd like to say we could open up so the public can ask a few questions. I can see Gett from over here, he's probably stomped his foot impatiently over 300 times now

I have a question. What will you do about illegal migration? I can't stand those illegal swallows migrating here and there...

Regional immigration does not apply to wild animals.

I'm sorry that you do not enjoy the hi-jinx of life in the animal kingdom. I find they can be barometers of the cycle of the planet's seasons, as well as amusing to observe with little more intent but to pass the time.

Agora has many urban-centered entertainments, one need only seek them out.

I think that concludes our debate, Everyone will be given back their free-speech as reluctant as I am to give it

Why when everyone makes a joke it's funny, and when I make a joke it's serious?

Swallows are serious business. The difference between life and death over a bridge.

And now begins the debate between Magloire and Empty Chair for Observer. The moderator is a second empty chair, this one with tea leaves to divine its purpose. Magloire, you shall start.

State Representative: Yes, well, things need observing, right? Well, I suppose that effects it on a quantum level. That's a bit more like intrusion, isn't it? Oh dear, and Magloire is strictly non-interventionist so running for this office at all is a violation of Magloirii norms... we've destroyed our principles entirely with this campaign, yes, you're right, Empty Chair." *glowers bitterly over* "You've won. Damn you, but you've won."

Do you mean horny hand of Zeus? I've heard stories.

That's a very young LeVar Burton, by the way.

Coloran wrote:Do you mean horny hand of Zeus? I've heard stories.

I'm pretty sure Zeus' hand isn't the horny part.

Let me rephrase--I'm pretty sure Zeus' hand is the only part of him that isn't horny.

You're right, but I'm sure it's pretty handy!
