You could send other types of soldiers to allied nations. Maybe even an SF group. I would have inland bases be a part of it.. We’d have to smoke out their hideouts. It would be fun and definitely workable. I like to think of such RPs as a sandbox. A place to gather stories. People can work together or post their own arc. It’s be fun and we see how good it would be towards keeping things on track.
Maybe it will be a time to work together to fight a bigger problem. Maybe a nation farther away builds an alliance with you and requests your soldiers in combating the threat. I could possibly make a puppet responsible for running the cartel and your soldiers could join a joint operation there.

I live in northern Italy , I am a simple human been.
I have already experienced a tragedy in the civil war of former Yugoslavia where I come from, now I am living another one.
I as a human, I please you, please protect yourself as you can from the coronavirus in my zone I am experiencing a nightmare , we have been put in national quarantine, we have limited freedom in totally ignorance of the facts away from families, friends and a normal life, with the fear of sickness COVID-19, we look at the people near us as a possibke risk or enemy, a day I woke up and it seemed to me that I was living in North Korea. The culprits of this disaster were mostly inattentive and unjust people, those who did not follow security procedures of prevenction, please I ask you as your mother, as your father, as your children, as your brothers and sisters, be careful , the consequences will be disastrous for health and for society.

(OOC: Sorry I haven't been on a lot recently, apart from the odd comment on the forums. I've not been feeling very well over the past week or today, I know I scheduled RP on the 4th, but I started to feel unwell on the 2nd, and thought It might pass quickly. It hasn't unfortunately. I will eventually be back, probably over the next couple days. I've been keeping up with the developments in the Africa RMB through a quick skim, but I wanted to say about my lack of presence recently here.

United Angeln began life as a British territory in Africa in the 1920s and upon Britain’s entry into world war 2 was developed as safe environment to train British and Commonwealth aircrews for service in the Europe theatre of war.
The military site was further developed in the 1950s and a British expat community sprang up providing services to the men and women serving in the armed forces.
From the 1960s to 1970s the military site had an active role in enforcing a United Nations embargo against the minority governed Rhodesia, supported the South African Air Force tracking soviet naval vessels during the Cold War, and in the 1990s provided humanitarian aid to Rwanda.
In 2017 the community of United Angeln were shocked to discover that due to a fall in defence spending, the military base would close in the following year and that they would no longer be a British Overseas Territory.
The Royal Airforce left December 2019 and in March 2020, unwanted independence from Britain was enforced. The community of Angeln who consider themselves British are now left with the dilemma of what to do with an abandoned airbase and a tiny but self reliant new nation.
