The Constitution is up and in effect, as soon as Amendment I is passed by the region, a new election shall be called for WA Delegate.
All prospective candidates may now put their names forward and create a manifesto/speech in the regional thread once it is created.
PSA for anyone who wants to use LibreNS++ (link in regional factbook), to access the regional newspaper you still need to have NS++. Just disable all the NS++ options except Regional News (optionally also Roleplay News) and you're good to go.

Since 4/5 actual independent members now support the amendment, the necessary 2/3rds has been surpassed and the amendment has been added to the constitution
To which end, please fill out the 'Statehood Application' from the regional factbook and send it to Midrasia or post it to the RMB.

So here's my statehood application
Federal Republic of New Goshen
Government type: Federal republic with a State President that functions as a figurehead; a Prime Minister; bicameral legislature with a Senate, that functions in a similar way to the Australian Senate or UK House of Lords, and National Assembly, that is responsible for most of the lawmaking in New Goshen. Also a strong emphasis on regional and municipal government, as they handle a large portion of domestic policy.
Population: 75, 097,462
New Goshen is very comparable to South Africa because of it's demographics. New Goshen's population is made of both native people and descendants of the settlers that colonized the area.
New Goshen was founded by settlers from Western Europe and the British Isles. They came to Aeia to create a nation based on their deeply held Christian values and also respecting personal freedom and democracy. The settlers soon found it difficult to maintain connections with their homelands, so they decided to develop their own industries and trading partners on Aeia. The land proved good for crops such as berries, maize, and tobacco and raising dairy cattle. When the settlers arrived, they found a handful of native tribes, which they purchased lands from and traded with. Because of the settler's diligence and commitment to their principles, we have a strong, moral nation that values freedom and democracy and has a thriving economy today.
The climate of New Goshen is mild and coastal, with average temperatures of 35 degrees Fahrenheit in the winter months and 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the summer months.
Idea for RP event: intervening in one of our neighbors that is dealing with social unrest and on the brink of civil war.
Sorry the national history got a little long, but here it is.
- Full nation name: The Republic of Terton
- Government type: Inoffensive Centrist Democracy
- RP population: 56,782,941
- Most comparable Real-World country and why: Ireland, mainly because both populations are immensely devout Catholics.
- Brief background of national history: Terton is a very ancient nation, going back at least to the seven hundreds. For many long years, it was a monarchy, but in the turbulent period of the late seventeen hundreds, the peasants revolted, along with the help of a group of unhappy nobles. The small population that remained true to the King was pushed back to the city of Ter-Plassus. However, the nobles and peasants soon had a falling out, and each took for themselves part of Terton; the peasants made the capital Ter-Ikilbik in the east, while the nobles maintained the ancient capital of Ter-Ondor in the west. Ter-Plassus was in the north. For many years, these three Tertonian factions were ever at odds, sometimes openly warring, other times waiting and gathering new strength. Occasionally, two would ally with each other to possibly eliminate the third for good, but due to old animosities, this never worked until the late nineteen hundreds, when the King's Men (as the people of Ter-Plassus were called) allied with the peasants, promising to make Terton a republic if they were victorious. They were indeed victorious, and a few weeks after, the first election was held. The descendent of the last king of Terton lost to victorious General Dirk Cassian. Terton has continued to grow and prosper to this day.

- Geography and climate of nation: Terton is a land of forests and mountains, with bitter winters going often to -10 degrees Fahrenheit and pleasant summers reaching around 70 degrees.
- Idea for a possible future RP event: A manned mission either to the moon or another planet. I'm a big space guy!
New Goshen, compared to me, your history is actually quite compact!

Full nation name: The Socialist Republic of Isolatonia
- Government type: Liberal Democracy, left leaning
- RP population: 300 million
- Most comparable Real-World country and why: Something like a blend between Sweden and the UK
- Brief background of national history: Going off old Asuran lore, initially formed by refugees from a corrupt central regime. They fled to a rural area and with the local population, carved out an area of independent land for themselves
- Geography and climate of nation: In terms of borders and islands, think something like Greece. Mediterranean-esque climate, forests and plains. Northern land border is mountainous
- Idea for a possible future RP event: International terrorist incidents, international land disputes, perhaps similar to Cyprus in the 1970s
Hang on, I made a little mistake in my application. The government type is what one would expect to find in a Republic; the head executive is called the Chancellor, and his specially selected Cabinet (like that in the USA) is called the Assembly of Ministers. These Assemblies have varied in size, depending on what each Chancellor thinks he needs Ministers for. The Senate is the legislative authority, comprising of one hundred members who are popularly elected, five from each territory of the Republic. The issues they deal with are primarily national in nature, and territorial issues are decided upon by smaller, territorial Senates.

Only one concern is New Goshen since the UK doesn't really exist in Aeia, is it ok if your settlers originated from Asura, which is basically our regional equivalent of Europe?
Also anybody who wishes to run in the WA Delegate election is required to announce their candidacy in the regional thread within the next 3 days.

- Government type: Federal Democratic Republic
- RP population: 150,000,000
- Most comparable Real-World country and why: USA, as the nation is organised similar to the USA with its Federal governmental system and the idea of Manifest destiny which really took hold of new settlers, who sought the nations highlands to escape civilisation and the busy towns of the old world.
- Brief background of national history: The Campagnies was once a colony of the old world, however through force of arms overthrew the tyrannical empire in the name of democracy and freedom. Over time the nation developed independently of its former masters as an international hub for trade and enterprise.
- Geography and climate of nation: The Campagnies has a fairly warm climate, with hot summers and relatively mild winters. The Campagnies is best divided into two regions. The coasts, upon which the nations many port cities lie and the midlands, which is mostly rural with vast rolling hills and sufficient pasture and forest for misanthropists seeking to distance themselves from society.
- Idea for a possible future RP event: The Aeian Olympics! Or another sport event of choosing?
