America 2020s RP wrote:1. USAF High Command

The USAF fought valiantly against the initial alien invasion, attack craft bravely attempted to destroy Alien ground forces, fighters desperately tried to intercept the aliens in the air. While these efforts were mostly futile, the Air Force survived, and what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. With the aliens withdrawing, the USAF once again takes to the sky, Air Force security forces patrol towns, keeping law and order.

Potential Ideologies: USAF High Command (Despotism) USAF Security Forces (Police Statism)

(I know realistically these guys would just get absorbed by the USN, but still)

2. United Nations Peacekeeping Force

UN Peacekeeping and Humanitarian forces managed to regroup in Lebanon, declaring the Lebanese United Nations Security Zone, they await orders from the UN back in NYC but are growing increasingly restless. Many of the blue helms want to secure the Middle East for humanity, ending the violence and creating peace in the region.

Potential Ideologies: Peacekeeping Forces (Paternalism) Humanitarian Forces (Social Democracy) Free Lebanon Movement (confessionalist democracy)

3. The 10th Crusade

Composed of Christians deported to the Middle East, the 10th Crusade's leadership is composed of Priests, Jesuits, and even a few Patriarchs, from a variety of Christian faiths who have put their differences aside for Christians everywhere. The 10th Crusade believes the alien invasion signals the return of God, where Heaven and Earth shall become one. However, they vary on exactly what form this return will take. Some believe Jesus will come to put aside humanity's differences and lead them to victory, peace, and happiness. Others believe God will soon judge the whole world, and cast the Aliens and all Sinners down to hell, and some believe the Holy Spirit shall engulf the world, and God's Kingdom on Earth Shall be formed.

The Father (Esoteric Theocracy) The Son (Christian Democracy/Christian Communism) The Holy Spirit (Theocracy, Monarchism)

I like all of these, I'm definitely gonna try and incorporate then into the next minigames.

Cool Cool.

Like I said though, none of the available factions really interest me.

Sent you a telegram about a possible next one.

Kurdistan 2023 RP wrote:Summarized version is, Atompunk techboom in the 40s, Aliens take over Earth in the 90s, Alien Middle Eastern Authority collapsed and you can now play as one of the factions fighting for it. Options currently claimed are USN Kuwait, Maoist Iraq and Syria and the Order of Zion. More details are below.

Go ahead and make the brief post about your perfered faction securing power.

IC: The Maoists eventually lead a great offensive and destroy the aliens and the reactionaries. They now lead their army north to spread the light of communism to Kurdistan, and they start immediately purging those who have riches and redistributing them to the people.

We'll get to that, you said you wanted the Commissariat in charge over the Maoists yeah? Have them coup Xi's PLA if you want more moderate leadership.

IC: The Commiserat takes advantage of the movement of troops away and starts a coup, taking Hit and Damascus in hours and then the entire nation in a single day

Sounds kinda weird since itís more in the desert and away from where the actual people are but ok

Everything around Iraq, Kuwait, Kurdistan, Syria and Transjordan is fully depopulated. Like, everything around you is barren wasteland so people got deported here. So even if it was away from people orginially, people got moved around like a sudoku board.

Wow 50 messages on a dead region, what just happened?

They elect a Kurdish people's party-left leader to rebuild the nation, but an expansion is leader who plans to take over greater Kurdistan and exploit the uncontended resources of eastern Anatolia before refocusing south in plans to conquer Iraq.

IC:Not everything is as it seems however, as among the kurds there are a few that still hold their allegiances to Turkey. For now they pretend to be a part of the kurds, but once stability is restored worldwide, they will be back....

Better hope Garrison 4 doesn't win because they are gonna break up all the communities.

IC:As his party is still in charge, thus allowing Jose to choose his successor were anything to happen to him, Jose decides to resign as prime minister of Spain and place his son, born in the 2020's to fill his place. He, having grown much older than the energetic leader that was in 2024, decided that he wouldn't have the energy to lead a nation. He has spent the past 40 years teaching his son how to lead and continue where he left off, giving Spain new energy and continuing the development of technology. Jose says one Last goodbye in an emotional speech to the Spanish populous, before he and his family decide to rest and live the rest of their days in the now largely and permanently inhabited moon village, with a population of about 5000. Having turned 64 and having done all that he was destined to do, him and his wife enjoy the rest of their days(which will be a while actually, another 70-80 years until they kick the bucket. I'll do a little summary of the near future up to like 2080). Jose occasionally visits Spain and other parts of the world a few times per year, seeing how technology advances under the rule of his own regen. He meets his young grandchildren, whom may be the new leaders of Spain in the near future as well. Many of the projects started by Jose are finished by his son. Diplomatically, his son diverges from Jose, fully dedicating himself to his alliance with France and Europe in general. Spanish-Cuban relations are strained massively by this, and it is most defenitely that spain would be on the European side of a potential world war 3. His son decides to focus on finishing projects that Jose started instead of constantly trying to create new ones as he believes these projects will give him insight into how different technologies work and can better guide Spain to develop technologies based on those previously completed developments.

Isnít this Jose fellow kind of a dictator considering he was in power for over 30 years

Well yeah basically. Kinda like Hitler except without the war crimes(but kinda with the war) and wayyy less bad. He won like 2-3 elections and then kinda just stayed and I guess everyone just didn't care enough to fight back. Maybe he was like FDR and just won like 5 consecutive elections.

South africa modern rp wrote:Bro do you know how unpopular that would be

Britain would get into a civil war and would be mass protests

You guys don't realise how unpopular colonising is

If there was ever one correct thing south Africa has ever said, it's this.

No mate you have definitely commited war crimes in Africa you can't just go "no I didn't", every war has warcrimes. I find it highly unlikely your guy served checks notes nearly seven general elections, without congress intervening or not getting voted in. Especially after the unpopular colonialist wars.

Fair enough, but they wouldn't be too much. It's like how the UK did commit war crimes in WW2, but not a lot lot. Also yeah, controlling most technology in the country makes it easy to brainwash people a lot. They would be some level of brainwashing/control in those 2030's elections.

Ö

Dude does not understand how modern technology and the internet works.

It would be HARDER to control people, not easier.

And if you are controlling their technology there is no way in hell you could be classed as "democratic" and free, you would be full of strikes and revolts
