Is this like a goal for Pixar, to try to get me to cry 5 minutes into the movie so that I physically have to watch the rest or I feel like an incomplete and emotionless monster? Good tactic honestly...

I need an issue that overhauls my healthcare system and funds it more.
At this point, the tax rate increase won't bother me much. I just want to get my obesity and death rate down.

Oh no, don’t worry. Before Up this was uncommon. Now Up is used to find out if you are an heartless monster or an human being, with all movies after it tryig to catch the same feeling.
