Well, this appears to be the most active the region has been in months.

Thanks. My first memory as a player in this game of Trav Khar came in 2005 or 2006 in a regional advert posted by the multi-region advertiser Lawn Flamingo.
Heh yea, that does not surprise me, Trav Khar has been around since 2003, and has generally been apart of a multi region network of some sort.
In fact, your lovely migrating crew has been to 3 or 4 of my regions already. Quiet recently you visited my region Underworld. :)
I also had my nation Wandering Hippy join your travels, though I haven't kept up very well. :P
When did I join Trav Khar? 2011 or 2012? I know for certain I was here in 2012.
Before that I operated my own region from 2008-2011. It was mildy successful.
When I wasn't being banned by the mods. Im on my Third nation. My previous two before this one were deleted.
Littler earlier than that i'd say, you joined the old forum in December 2010.

Why did this region die and have to be revived so many times?
Well that is a long story, you can find a more detailed explanation in our history link in the WFE.
Basically when I first started playing NS back in 2003, I was 13 and mostly played with kids from my neighborhood. We were originally apart of another region, and mistakenly used each others computers when we were at each other's houses. So they thought we were one person and cheating. We left that region to form Trav Khar, and grew the region large. Unfortunately the region we left then infiltrated our new home and turned people against us. Real d*cks. I got pissed and left NS for awhile. The region totally fell apart after that, switching hands several times before I got it back eventually in 2010.

Yes there are a few D*cks out their, but i find NS history is so diverse and interesting.
My first nation was deleted ... for a similar reason back in 2004. My son and his friends (who were also my students at the local HS) would play NS from our home showing their nation to one another. The Mods (bless them) blasted all those nations. My son and his friends were so devastated they quit NS. I stayed.
Oh yea that's a bummer. With that particular indecent though, we used each other's computers for the regional forum. So the region thought we were the same person, which is why we left to form Trav Khar. So I lucky didn't get any nations deleted then. I did get nation deleted for posting a link to a hit-base game, which was against the rules... Though I feel the mods of today would have never deleted me for that. After me and my friends left, they actually assigned a new founder for Trav Khar, back when Mods did that kind of thing.
Those students also played NS in the school computer lab (back in the day). Really, it is little wonder the Mods considered all of them as a single multi. But it was sad that the game lost several players who exhibited a knack for political rhetoric.
Yea, but people could cheat, although it is unfair because two people cant play on the same computer.
My story is so similar; my WA nation got busted along with all my children's WA nations, because of using the same computer. I also had quite a few of my nations deleted for "spamming" a region which was set up to mock the region I was in. But I couldn't resist it, so I got banned from NS. I had to give the geese over to Skoda in order to continue the journey. After a while, I think when I took up a new residence, I was able to get back on. I created this nation in case 
Migrating Geese got deleted for flying over the airspace of regions which were hostile to us. The geese get banned quite often by other regions. Yes, a lot of regions like to go goose hunting.
You can get banned for migrating?
Yep my original nation was deleted for passing through a region, in those days we passed through every region in NationStates some straight in and out, one region The Kingdom of Burgundy I passed in and out and posted Merry Christmas they reported me and I was deleted, we mounted a campaign to get the nation reinstated but they said it had now gone on too long to retrieve it. I looked in the graveyard its still listed and if I applied I may get it back. As for burgundy we took it over in a moment of its inactivity.
funnily enough ive never gotten banned for anything, of course.. i would never have used multiple nations on the same computer or anything, because that's bad ...now that i think about it, i cant remember exactly when i joined, although i think it was right after neo returned and the region was re-founded , because that's the couple years i started playing NS in
