Novilliwit wrote:Tsar Alexander would officially respond with "I see the Greek deceptions reach even as far as London. to think the Greeks managed to justify moving troops into Serbian lands as Bulgarian aggression. we are not claiming their land, simply removing their claim on ours. Is the Anglo man so afraid of Slavic solidarity that they need to support unjust causes to hobble us? We are not unreasonable, and once the Greeks cease their invasion, we are willing to negotiate. I wish to remain on good terms with the Crown, but if they will not support us, then we must find new allies."
soon after that, an official communique would be sent to Germany (Greater terran union 1st) asking for support against the Greek invasion.

(ping on Ethics committee of the scpf because they are Greece)

Soon as the Kaiser got word of the Greek offensive and received the letter from Bulgaria, the German Empire soon announced neutrality in the situation but the Kaiser wrote a personal letter back, stating the German Empire would indirectly support them as long as if they win that they would not radically change the regional landscape in a negative way.

It was a relatively quiet morning out in Port Sudan. Egyptian merchants and the like had rested there for.. more than a while, even if the British were breathing down their neck in the Suez zone. Egypt was Free, after all. Sudan and all.

That was until the red white and blue flags came into the harbour.

Before much anyone could realize what was happening, a contingent of troops in savannah colors and French flags jumped off and started moving.
Of course, the military garrison there was a tad confused on what the HELL was going on, but an invasion is an invasion and gunfire was soon exchanged. Ashen powder soon found itself across the harbors of Port Sudan, as a contingent of Reinforcements would land in more southern shores from French Djbouti.

Now, this is where the fun begins

OOC note: I've done a whole lot of nothing that isn't minimal funding to nations and canal construction, and this is why! Welcome to the scramble, gentlemen.

After another shipment of 3000 British troops has arrived, and a combined force of 10 021 Immediate troops sit on the Egyptian border.
After the French initially invade, the Egyptians are confused and disorganized. They do not expect what happens next

British imperial forces suddenly mount a surprise attack on the Egyptian border defenses near the border with British Levant, suffering minimal causalities, and steamrolling the enemy. Re-enforcement's pour in, and the British gain more and more momentum after their first victories, as less troops are opposing them at the immediate moment. Full conscription has been called in British Levant, and more troops from Britain and even across the empire are coming.
The British government demands that NO ONE support the Egyptians by any means, or else.....

Large French Corporations such as Terrasieres and Deuxfaces Aménagement du territoire have begun setting up shop away from the already present Western European markets, along with a surprising amount of smaller businesses trying to find a home in cheaper lands.

Along with the more "Friendly" businesses, a good few arms dealers have set up shop, looking for military contracts.

The new modern weapons are immediately given to soliders fighting on the Ukranian front and soliders in Sevastopol

An offensive begins into the cities of Lviv and the rest of Sevastopol

Battle of Lviv

A batallion of trained, newly equipped with modern weaponry, Ukranian and Belarusian troops, arrive in Lviv after battling some rebel divisions on the way there.

The Battalion uses newly given modern Artillery to barrage the cities defenses while the city is encircled by a detachment of 2k troops.

The city is soon encircled and the soliders lay in for a siege, artillery and cannon fire continue into the city day and night.

Battle of Southwestern Sevastopol

The Sevastopol troops, realizing that they will not be able to do a quick offensive to retake the entire city, decide to instead slowly begin taking more and more chunks of the city, they begin by securing the Southwestern portion

With new modern equipment and their navy, the troops begin to barrage the Socialist Ukranians with their warships and their new Artillery. And with some new reinforcements arriving by sea they decide to begin their push into the Southwestern portion of the city.

The reinforcements provide great help, with the original Belarusian troops being fairly exhausted and the Socialist Ukranians on the other side also being exhausted.

The first major stand out is the former Port Authority building that was recently captured by the Socialist Ukranians. Belarusian troops encircle the building and use their Artillery to destroy it.

An old, tattered flag of the former Ruthenia is raised on the rubble of the building in commemoration of the fallen union.

With the port authority building being destroyed, the tatars begin to demoralize, allowing an easier conquest of the remaining portions of the Southwestern sector.

After the southwestern sector is captured, the troops lay in to rest and to prepare for any counter attack.
