Mystical land of encantadia

Hello/Avisala,
Are you all Filipino here in the region. I just think that everyone here is not all Filipino. By the way, those who are Team GMA or Kapuso, maybe you have heard of that telefantasia, Encantadia. I made this nation in the name of my addiction to such phenomenal series since 2005. Seriously, I have only just watch one episode and I am impressed with the plot. So, thank you for accepting me in your region. Avisala Eishma and Avisala Meiste.
(Thank You and Goodbye)

I agree that the country must move on but any agreement with these political dinasours must be subject to plebiscite like what has been done in Colombia.

The old guard 'dinosaurs' are giving way to new blood with a focus on social emancipation. Nobody can deny the need for genuine land reform, pro-labor reforms and social welfare.

I just hope these so called 'old guards' should realize by now that they are not messiahs as self designated as such. After all they dont have the monopoly of supposed solving the sociopolitical problems you have mentioned. Solving these issues in a purely dialectic paradigm does not work and in fact counterproductive as history have shown us. To say the least it is a simplistic methodology in a very complex society. It only works in the confine of classrooms or in the mind of armchair political theorists.
Luckily we have seen the start of wiser leftists joining the legitimate political process. I am reminded of what one communist have said: "the greatest enemy of our cause are the reactionary socialists." As they say you can kill a bad idea by offering a better idea.
On second thought it may not be a bad idea after all just to forego this charade called "peace talks" and let them die in a natural death.

Kalayaan and sabah confederacy

Folks,

It is nice inviting all of you to read my factbook as one of the efforts to disseminate information and campaign awareness to correct years of historical injustice to the Filipino civilization in the Kalayaan Islands Territory and Sabah under illegal occupation by various foreign states.

Nope sorry. I hate the fighting choreography, hate the dialogue, hate the story, hate the graphics and exaggerated costumes. Nothing much has changed since the first show. Unimpressed. 2/10. +1 for effort.

Mulawin is the one worthy of revival.

Mobile phone networks disabled coverage for 2 days which was crappy. But otherwise, street party. :)

Nobody from the Left presumes to have a monopoly of good ideas. The old guard has been admonished before a lot of times over wrong ideas and out of it came good ones. The old guard must give way to current realities that might have been unimaginable a few years back, but the new leaders should also learn from the vast experience of their elders.

Nowhere is national industrialization in the economic plans of the mainstream policy makers, nor is labor emancipation, knowing for a fact that the neoliberals are dogmatically focused on market action at the expense of social welfare. Case in point: SSS.

The peace talks are necessary to assimilate the interest of the marginalized majority into the mainstream. Without it, we will be reduced to siding with one faction of the elite against another, not realizing that the majority has and should be conscious of its own interests, hence protect it against those who want to use it for their own benefit.

The old guard from the Underground Left were offered government seats with the new administration. If they were only after power, all they had to say was yes. They did not. They instead encouraged the Legal Left to work with the government (DSWD, DAR, and NACP) to show to everyone what the Left is all about.

I'm here. But you all are too quiet, so I have nothing to say.

Let's make some noise. Anong po ang inyong masasabi sa Q&A ni Miss Maxine Medina sa Miss Universe. Do you think she could have done better or she did great?

She could have probably done better, but nerves should render that as a non-issue.

Like some from social media suggest, we have better standards for our candidates for Ms. Universe than we do for our Senators.

Painfully true.

Heck. I voted for pacqauio and duterte just to see chaos. If anybody can run for the office, then I can vote for anyone no matter how ridiculous they can be.

I'm the kind of Filipino who thinks only a rebirth would bring our nation glory. A rebirth of violence paved in blood and honor; of the innocent, the patriots and of the guilty.

We dont have enough wars to prove our resilience, too few souls have sacrificed their lives for the fatherland, too little agenda on our history, too many promises, too many dreams of individual greed, and an unwaivering hope on a non-existing entity.

Philippines needs to die so it can live...forever.

And how will it die. I prefer a communist revolution, but any can do. So as long as the pesky haciendero-corporatist-padrinos go away

Your prescribed solution is even more radical than the Revolutionary Left. :)

The Left's agenda is to simply reorient and refocus socio-economic priorities from the interests of the minority landlords and big business to the majority of the population which comprises the workers, farmers, and middle class.

Resistance and and even suppression from the status quo (reactionary forces) is expected in varying levels and degrees, with the possibility of turning violent. Hence the need for armed struggle to protect initiatives set to achieve the people's goals.

Is violence necessary? Only if called for.

Nope. English happens to be the common denominator among all. But feel free to use any language you are comfortable expressing yourself in as long as it can be understood by everyone.
