"I think we go straight there, we have plenty of food. I wasn't told what the island was like, so if you could let me know, that would be appreciated. I really hope we don't have to fight or kill anything, the government would approve, as we are in the top 5% for pacifism. And the boat may require some rowing if there is no wind"
"East Overworld is one of the safest and most peaceful countries on the planet but fighting is inevitable. To keep anything safe you've gotta fight for it." Flint began as he prepared the sail. "Koni island is far out over the horizon, it has no port and no buildings. It's fully wild. That's why it's suspicious that so many of people have gone missing there. Most of them being Argonian. May I ask why they're so many Argonian people near the island?"
"Well you see... Um... Well might as well tell you. Back when people kept shooting animals in the hope that we would give them money, we created secret breeding colonies to ensure the survival of endangered animals. They seemed to be thriving. But after a while our boats kept disappearing. There is more, but I dont have permission to tell you until we get to the island, as you might well... run away and tell your government before we can fix the issue. I know that this sounds suspicious, and I'm not really sure why I've been ordered to do this, but I have"
Flint grunted, considering his options. Should he snitch now or sail onwards to the island. "Okay, let's go." He decided to say. No snitching as of so far. The boat sailed for eight long hours until they reached a large chain of boats which seemed to be circling the island. Flint notcied none of them were within ten Kms of Koni island. Flint also saw that the East Overworldian government had set up floating bases where he saw samurai (East Overworldian soldiers) patroling. Flint pulled the sloop up to floating base 88 which was where the international investigators were. The majority were Argonian, some were East Overworldian and of course as usual was someone from the Phoenix islands making sure everything in the region was okay. Flint and Magnesium walked over to a couch located in the lobby. "Why are we here?" asked Magnesium. "We're here because this is where we wait for the big boys to pick us up." Flint replied. Magnesium looked at Flint bewildered. Flint laughed, "Mag, is it all right if I call you Mag? The big boys are the Samurai that will be accompanying us to the island. Team Alpha-4 will approach the island and after that Team Alpha-5, led by us will approach and explore it. Kapeesh?"
"Yes I understand" Replied Magnesium. "At least we will have soldiers, to keep us safe, although I do not approve of all this military presence, but I guess its fine as long as you don't bomb the place from the sky". Soon after, Team Alpha-4 travelled to the island. Suddenly Flint saw something under the water, which soon disappeared.
Alpha team-4 made their way to the island, but once they reached 9kms away they literally disappeared. They didn't sink, or burn, or float out of sight or fly; They literally vanished into thin air. "Oh god what just happened!?!" Flint exclaimed. "Okay boys you're up." One of the Samurai said as they adressed the room. Everyone else began to head towards the galleon ship which was floating next to the floating base. As everyone began to board Flint accidentally knocked someone's shoulder and he saw....

PLOT POST
On the edge of the jungles on a mysterious island, a young man stepped carefully in. The island was mysterious and hidden, no one knew where it was. Except for him, since he shipwrecked there, and out of the entire crew, only him and a stowaway survived. The stowaway was a halfling, able to breathe in water and in land. In the water her legs would fuse together and her feet would become a tail, like a mermaid, but on land she would be free to walk around, unlike true mermaids. Her fingers, however, were permanently webbed like a mermaid, but aside from being "out of the ordinary" for a regular human, she blended in well.
"Well, that voyage to the Asari went well." She would sigh as she made it to the land, flopping in the sand. When her tail finished separating into legs, she stood up, walking up to the man. "The name's Fleur, what's your name?"
"Wait what." The man turned behind him, staring at the woman before him. "Witch of the Jungle! Get out!"
"I'm a halfling, not a witch, smart one. I was on your ship on my way to the Asari to visit. Then we shipwrecked."
"You should not have been aboard."
"Well, how else would I travel the world cheaply?" Fleur laughed, flicking a small flower into the man's hair. "What's your name, anyways?"
"You may call me Jaques." The man said carefully. "I am going to figure out how to build a raft to get off this island."
"Yes, you will leave this place and forget anything about it." Fleur smiled. "You're not chosen by the island. You're just really good at escaping death."
"What?"
"Ahitereira has chosen who will be allowed to discover its secrets. You are not one. But the rest of the island's chosen will end up here. One person from interested nations will end up here. They haven't felt the call yet but they will arrive soon."
Well no one joined, so I'll continue it now:
...a birds face for a split second, which soon turned into a normal human face so he dismissed it as his imagination. Magnesium decided to follow orders and get on the boat, despite the danger of disappearance. "Ok, let's get on the boat now" he said nervously.
"Welcome guys and girls, I'm your captain. My name is Captain Swash and this vessel that we may die on is called the Emperor's hope. We'll be setting sail soon, everyone set up your research stations, communications stations or if your job is to explore the island then wait on the top deck." Captain Swash ordered. Magnesium and Flint stayed on the top deck since their job was to explore the island. "So we're on the boat now. Do you have the answer as to why everyone is disppearing?" flint asked
"Well, the short answer is, no, I don't. The long answer is a bit more complicated," Magnesium responded. "Soon after people started disappearing we received a mysterious telegram. We tried extremely hard to find the source, but to no avail. The telegram said the following:
'Greetings Argonians,
We are known as the Rouge Tropicbirds. As we see you have sent tropicbirds to live on this island we have taken over. We are armed with magic. Do not enter the island. All non tropicbird fauna on this island will be killed.'
The current belief is that they are a splinter faction from the Tropicbirds but the Tropicbirds have not confirmed nor denied this"
"Ah-" Flint began, unsure what to say in response to that. Suddenly the group felt the galleon jolt forward and they began to move. "And awaaaaaaay we go." The captain cheered happily. Flint's heart raced as he watched them approach the 9km mark where Alpha team-4 had gone missing. "Everyone put your communication head sets on!" Captain Swash ordered. Flint placed his on and said, "testing testing. This is alpha team-5 leader detective Flint can you guys hear me?" "Copy we hear you loud and clear." Command control said. Command control were stationed at one of the floating bases so they were incredibly calm about this whole situation. "You're 500 metres from the 9km point now." Command said, "400, 300, 200, 100, 50, 40, 30, 20, 10 -shdsjagf,fal" The entire ship bounced for absolutley no reason as they passed the 9km line and the command's voice went out. Flint looked behind him to where he'd just come from to see nothing there, just plain water. "What just happened?" Flint said. "I don't know. It appears we've lost all communication with everyone outside of the islands 9km dome." Captain Swash stated. "Let's turn around." Someone said." "No, we must stay on course. Full steam ahead to the island." The captain cutted in. The galleon kept sailing until they could see the all the trees and pieces of grass on the edge of the island. "Flint look over here!" Someone exclaimed from the other side of the boat. Flint stood up and ran to the other side of the boat to see the wreckage of Alpha team-4. Their boat was completely covered in moss and half of it was buried underground. It looked as if it had been wrecked for years and years. "What the..." Flint murmered under his breath. The boat kept going until they reached a small beach, probably the only on the island. "Get out the row boats and the exploration teams head over to the island." The captain said. All the explorers (Including Flint and Magnesium) boarded the boats and made their way to the island.
(It's part of the same one :> Don't send people to the island yet though but give a character the feeling that they must adventure?)
"I can help you, I think." Sami took a deep breath, channeling her energy to form a largish bubble in the air. With another breath, the bubble would take the shape of the duchess, then formed a largish tail at the end.
"This should work."
"This is awesome.Where are we going" The duchess exclaimed as she magically floated through the ocean following Sami.

"Emperor Trieu you've returned." Lord Zhou said as he got to his knees. "Get up Zhou, I'm going away in about three days anyway." The Emperor sighed. "What were you doing Emperor?" Zhou asked as he got up. "That's for me to know and you to maybe find out." Emperor Trieu grinned. Lord Zhou bowed again, "Yes sir, sorry for asking m'lord. Why have you summoned me?"
"I need you finest Galleon, we set sail tomorrow."
Magnesium seemed uncertain about this. "The Rouge Tropicbirds are probably armed." He said
He continued rowing the boat, however.
As they reached the shore, they found a skeleton, looking like it had been there for hundreds of years. But it wasn't a human skeleton, it was the skeleton of a green tailed wallaby, which had been thought to be extinct everywhere but this island. Looking closer, on the bones were carved in an obscure script "The last one has been killed"
"Fascinating." Flint said as he inspected the skeleton. "It appears that this island fast forwards time. First the ancient looking boat of Alpha team-4 and now this." Dr Thyme said. "This is the galleons mission control. We're currently on board the boat and we'll be guiding you through this." Announced a calm, collected voice from within the earpiece of everyone. "Copy we hear you mission control." Flint controlled. "Good to hear, we're not sure how much time we have here until this dome collapses or breaks so we'd like you to push into the jungle to find the source." Mission control asked. Everyone in the group looked around at each other and Flint nodded, "Copy, we'll head in now."
INTERGALLACTIC NEWS!!
Groggnak has a missing astronaut. While exploring the nearby Hercules' sea, astronaut Jim Pickens went missing. He left the base and never came back. Rumor has it he sunk, others think he killed himself. Conspiracists think he was murdered, What does Groggnak have to say about this?
As everyone walked further in, they heard a gunshot. It was much louder and higher pitched than it should have been. The group decided to search for the source, but to no avail. They decided to walk away from the noise, and soon stumbled across a bullet stuck in a tree. It had been there so long that the tree had grown around it. "This is a Ginkgoales tree, but there haven't been any of those in the region in millions of years. In fact there is only one surviving species that has ever been discovered and isn't a fossil, and this is not that species." said Magnesium.
"Shut up nerd." Said General Talus, who was only here because he wanted a promotion. "It appears that every non living being seems to be ageing at an alarming rate!" Flint exclaimed as he dug out the bullet from the tree. "I think the better question is what fired that bullet." Dr Thyme added in. "Mission control what do we do? Continue heading into the centre of the island or look for the source of that gunshot?" asked flint. There was a slow pause where mission control discussed what they were going to choose, then one of them replied, "This is mission control, it's up to you. We suggest you split up."
Flint looked around and saw the four Samurai. "Okay, two Samurai, two doctors, to explorers, General Talus and Magnesium go search for the sound of the bullet and the rest of us will head to the middle. Meet you in a few days." Flint ordered.
The group split up and while Flint's group kept heading to the centre, Magesium's group sat around and began a search for the source of the gunshot...
"I don't think its as simple as that" said Magnesium. He continued "That tree has to be long extinct in the outside world, by millions of years, and the tree was the one ageing, not the bullet. We seem to be unaffected by the anomalies here, and we cant just dismiss them as a simple non living thing ageing phenomenon."
General Talus ignored him, and kept searching for the bullet.
Magnesium that he had found something. He had found a gun, floating in midair, completely still. General Talus slowly walked up to it, and seemed to blur and slow down the closer he got. Magnesium cried out for him to turn back, but it was too late. His blury form was sucked into the nozzle of the gun.
Everyone stared on horror and shock. No one dared to move.
After a few seconds of this, a corpse fell from the sky. At first Magnesium didn't recognize it, but it turned out to be the General Talus, just 10 years younger.
