Santa Thereza wrote:Also, since the map is editable, I might make adjustments on the Northern border. There are islands off the Venezuelan coast which houses thousands of Therezans, so I will make the border accurately display those zones. The southern border of Santa Thereza is met by the enormous Amazon Forest, so I'll also take advantage of that (whichever areas are in my original claim of course) Hopefully I'll develop this news article even more in the future, as it is the main source of news coming out of Santa Thereza's no man's land :)

You should be able to create more polygon areas just for those islands and make them the same color as your claim....though we will have to sort out border demarcation between our nations.

Is Calimera II essentially Argentina for RP purposes?

Si ii wrote:Is Calimera II essentially Argentina for RP purposes?

Calimera pretty much occupies the area the Argentine Confederation did so I always had it in my head that’s what it was.

In brief: Neragua (which I now wish I’d named along the lines of ‘Patagonia’...) is essential ‘British Patagonia’. Maybe the British Invasion of the Rio Plata failed and they headed south to cut off Spanish expansion, or maybe they never invaded and thought they’d try invading from the south upwards. I haven’t decided. Either way the roots of Neragua were laid at the same time as those IRL events in June 1806. Responsible government followed in 1853 with full self-governance sometime in the 1870s or 1880s.

Hello. If you need an ally since some of your neighbors, that nation located due south of your nation cannot be trusted, then contact us. An economic alliance which would include access to our South Atlantic ports for your nation, would benefit both our nations. So let us know.

We would like to have an unofficial partnership as we settle in because the Amazonian people don’t like to take sides in any political issues between other nations as they have been through and won a long lasting civil war for independence

We just made it to top 5% largest trout fishing sectors in the world. Broad base industry is thriving in Santa Thereza, maybe this will eventually sort out our crippling political freedom, who knows

Calimera is for a large part based on Argentina. Anyway, if any of you want to work on mutual history, please send me a telegram. I liked the idea you mentioned, Neragua, about the failed invasion of the Río de la Plata.

Happy Bolivian Independence Day to you all!

I'd celebrate a little more but I get to spend the whole day travelling for work. Someone have salteñas, chuflay, or something spicy on my behalf!

Been an interesting 194 years to say the least.

Looks like a Cornish pasty. I'll eat one of them instead. For you, obviously.

So your government was supporting the overthrow of the Veraguayian leader.

In the meantime, while we wait for Amwestheim to respond, how about listening to this -

Anybody still following the PanAmerican games? I'm happy to see Brasil win an impressive amount of medals in various sports, we just beat the Americans in swimming, which is not an easy task!

I have been trying to follow it. But the channel having the games does not transmit here but yes in the Capital city unless you have Direct TV or Dish.

Our team already has won 19 medals. Five gold, three silver and nine Bronze. We are in thirteenth
place for medals. In overall medal count, the US is first, Brazil second, Canada third and Mexico fourth. But Mexico has three more gold medals then Canada.
This shows you the list. Direct from a Peruvian source -

Melanie from PR. just won gold against the Brazilian player Takahashi in table tennis.

It's a record breaking accomplishment for Brazil, they have never won this many medals in the PanAmerican games and regardless of nationality, I love seeing south american athletes representing their home!

Neo brazil

There is a gasoline crisis in Portugal. They say its because of a transportation strike by the people who drive the gasoline trucks. They are seeking a higher salary. Or do you think it has more to do with this. See video with message. Old video but some things never change.
