Why do you need an island called Celeria?

The informal rule that has become more and more formal (my choice) is that NPCs can only be created out of prior played countries that you have had an IC and OOC relationship wise.
I've blocked others' NPCs that haven't fit that description before. So I'm going to block Celeria.
As far as your map claim, I'm not really going to stress over it, but know that other players have had to accept smaller claims and that maybe you should just accept what you have, out of respect. But if you absolutely must have a larger nation, I'm not going to block it...but this is a very big exception and it is not precedent.

I can find posts from 2013 which speak about Celeria being a part of the gvh which is not contiguous with it. It is something that has been a part of my canon since I was rping the gvh, and it's something I can't rp the gvh without as it's where most of my major characters come from.
Furthermore, part of the reason that the gvh doesn't try and project more power is that it has all of these provinces far from it to try and protect: Velstrania in Varathron and Celeria around 3000 miles or so from it. For rp purposes, it is in fact my most important province.
Between our conversations here and on the GD Discord, to which you're no longer welcome to until you make a decision (because I have a life outside of this and I don't want to waste my time on Discord arguing with you about something I've already decided on). You have three choices:
1. You make Celaria, wherever on the map it is, part of your original claim. Your whole territory size, including Celaria, will be constrained by the reasonable offer of giving you a size on par with a large original map claim. Which is what you have.
2. You keep the claim as it is now and you put Celaria off the map. What's off the GD map obviously isn't subject to GD's rules. And GD is an open region, meaning we accept off-map geographies as existing.
3. You can go to another region.
I'm not going to argue with you about this. You either accept it or you move on. If you create too much trouble for me, I'll just kick you. Arbitrary or precipitated as it might be, I simply don't have the patience for this. I manage a team of 7 employees and the agency's entire creative output for 8 hours a day. I come home to responsibilities. I have a limited time on NS, which I like to enjoy.
If you make NS unenjoyable for me, I will simply get rid of you. It's nothing personal, I promise. But I do what I need to do.
I'm happy to put Celeria off the gd map.
I think we've gone to a rather odd misunderstanding here. You may have explained the gvh size in comparison to others, however I'm not lying when I tell you I've lost it. I genuinely can't find it after having searched through my discord chats.

Good day, sirs. I have grown bored of the inactivity of the roleplay region I am in, the American Union, and so have created another nation, in search of a good roleplay region.
Sweet, welcome! Deamonopolis' territory just opened up.
I don't really know much about the story of the region, what sort of level of tech it is, or the rules, but since that is a giant blob of an island on the map, excellent!

There *is* plenty of empty land on the map, though. The west is becoming more and more active as more people make map claims there. It's our slaver area.
The east has a lot of veteran players who are most likely looking for fun RP partners. Central GD is pretty full, but also full of RPs. So take your pick! Wherever you go it's a good choice.
