I am trying to contact the founder of Austria so that we could talk about a potential treaty in the future. I am going to keep you posted on that one. Also, I am sorry for the lack of news regarding the constitution! I am still trying to figure out how is the system going to work.

Caladda wrote:That is where the problem comes in! For regional purposes I think it would be a good idea to use the map of Romania but this limits us to around 41 member countries. The map of the world would be better but it won’t have a real connection with Romania. We might also divide Romania the way we want depending on the member states (for example I am more of a city-state).

Asta e problema!

This would not currently be a problem. We don't have more than 41 members, nor are we too close to that number. I'd say currently we could use this method, then once we pass 41 nations, we adapt the map further to be able to support more member nations.

Seeing that here is a bit quiet, I have another question! What is your opinion about Brexit? Do you think that the UK will benefit from this move? What is, in your opinion, their plan?

I believe they(brits) saw the result of being at least a partial member of the EU and wanted out. Bankrupt nations caused the well off to offset their losses, massive waves of immigration from Syria and other points in the middle east changed the demographics of some countries, like Metro Paris area, so radically that acculturation became an issue. The same thing happened in Scotland, with immigration. People protested, and their government was elected with a mandate from the people to pull out. It was a rare instance of a politician doing exactly what they said they would do!

I believe both the EU and GB will survive their leaving, but I believe Europe is much more deeply divided then people living there care to admit. Countries like Germany are politically and socially divided, with the middle agers remembering the iron curtain differences...

And the WWII and WWI underlying actors are mostly still around even is now “social democracies” instead of kingdoms. I think the talk about “uniting Europe” I see on this website is written by people so oblivious to the socio political and economic differences, never mind centuries of warfare...that the concept of a stronger/centralized europe government beyond the EU currently is totally unviable.

I am not going to write in Romanian here, because it will be a lot! The people who believe that Europe will unite are very idealistic! Even though it may not seem like that, most of the rivalries from the past centuries are still alive. For example, although I don’t really get it all that much, most of the Romanians still hate the Hungarians for the fact that they held Transylvania. We have two counties in Romania that are predominately Hungarian and the people there, although living under the Romanian flag, do no want to speak Romanian at all costs. The same can be said about many other countries in Europe which deeply hate each other for various reasons.

The European Union was and is a great project, that has very good intentions and that could really help the continent. But it also shows that some wounds cannot heal in a few centuries. That is why I personally respect their decision of leaving the EU and I think that they will have a lot to win if they manage to organise the Commonwealth effectively. But only the time will tell!

How is your vacation so far Northern Bucovina?

Veritas In Aeternum and Vrancia

Is it warm in Romania today? We had only mid 80s today but 97 this weekend.

Around 97 too! It is quite hot this year, but nowhere near as hot as it used to be in this part of the year. A few years ago we used to see 100+ in July!

I cannot tolerate humidity with joy. Is it humid in your part of the country?

We live right on Danube's bank and because of high temperatures, the river evaporates, which leads to higher humidity and temperatures. It gets hotter than in other parts of the country

Veritas In Aeternum wrote:I cannot tolerate humidity with joy. Is it humid in your part of the country?

Vrancia is right! Also I feel you! High humidity combined with high temperatures is the worst. And the same can be said about low temperatures with low humidity.

Isn't it like a bit cooler in Brasov and Cluj-Napoca because they are close to hills/moutains?

It does, in Brasov and Covasna (Intorsura Buzaului especially) there are usually the lowest temperatures registered. But it is not unlikely temperature could hit over 30 Celsius in those places either. And at the same time, at Constanta (seaside) in winter there could be even -10/-15 Celsius

1st of all, i am back home. But untill monday i will not be very active and i am dying in the heat we have here

Ok! I will make one!
