Q: The westphalian post, as the newspaper nation of Westfalen Westphalia, and a handsome devil, what are your thoughts on the region and its affairs?
A:The Westphalian Post:"I believe this moment in Westphalian history is certainly interesting, as we are headed into the fall. One of our allies has fallen and disbanded, NWE seems to be doing its own thing, and publication has been delayed thanks to many of my reporters having been kidnapped by the infamous 'Yang Gang'. Overall, I believe we should focus more on ourselves and building back up our culture."

A Political Awakening
In the last week, after talks of the possibility, Westfalen Westphalia's first officially recognized political party has been created. Named the 'White-Mane Royalist Party', the political party created by Ecotopia2 wasted no time in setting down the issues it stands with. The party aligns itself with the Monarchist ideology, with the belief that we should empower the role of Emperor, stick by traditional Westphalian values, and strengthen the culture of Westfalen Westphalia. The White-Mane Royalist Party is a Westphalian political party dedicated to upholding the position and powers of the Emperor of Westphalia, whomever he or she may be. The party also wants to advocate for a strong government, which includes the Parliament and The Council Of Elders. While there are other matters that the party also addresses, these are the main policies that it focuses on.Read factbook
Party Overview
The White-Mane Royalist Party is a Westphalian political party dedicated to upholding the position and powers of the Emperor of Westphalia, whomever he or she may be. The party also wants to advocate for a strong government, which includes the Parliament and The Council Of Elders. While there are other matters that the party also addresses, these are the main policies that it focuses on.
Domestic Issues
⯁ We believe in a system of democracy alongside constitutional monarchy. Citizens of Westfalen Westphalia should be allowed to vote, as well as voice their opinions on the rmb and discord server. But, alongside that, the traditional position of Emperor should remain a distinguished position in the region, and recognized as such by the Westphalian Government and People. While the government should have most of the governing power, the title of Emperor should grant much more than just the name. Along with the honor of receiving the title, the Emperor should be granted powers to exert political influence when deemed appropriate; either in times of crisis, or political turmoil/deadlock. This means the Emperor can override the will of government in order to implement measures to move forward, when deemed fit by the Emperor or The Council Of Elders.
⯁ Political parties with an official dispatch should be recognized as such with no discrimination, even when the political party espouses rhetoric that is deemed radical, or anti-establishment. The main exception should be if the political party is made with the intention to overthrow the Emperor, The Council Of Elders, and/or the Westphalian identity. Despite ideology, we must stick with tradition and our roots as a Westphalian people.
⯁RPs and other activities such as Writing Competitions should receive and active endorsement by the Westphalian government. Nations who are dormant should therefore be prodded awake to participate in some way to the region, with the lowest bar being active on the rmb. The White-Mane Royalist Party also advocates for the creation of "Art Museums", where nations' art, including original musical pieces, with be displayed for citizens and non-citizens to be gazed upon. This will help give culture to Westfalen Westphalia, with the additional motivation people to attract nations into our borders.
⯁ Free Press is good press in Westfalen Westphalia, so long as it pays homage to the Emperor.

We must find like-minded regions, in this regard, to build connections with other nations beyond our own borders, so we can have people to go to in times of regional tragedy. We must also seek out regions with monarchies, democracies, and Emperors which are decent, and can be judged potentially beneficial.
⯁ Media/press from other regions should be welcome to posting their stories, and operating within our borders.
⯁ While there have been a history of tensions between Westfalen Westphalia and RHINIA, we should form at least some sibling-like relationship with the region. We should also stick by NWE and RA, who house former Westphalians, and give us some benefits diplomatically.
⯁ The Dual-Citizenship Pact between RA and Westfalen Westphalia should be upheld, with nations from both regions encouraged to establish a puppet in the other. However, non-citizens should not be allowed any right to trail whatsoever, and be deemed an outlaw by unanimous consent by The Council Of Elders. Dual-citizens with a puppet in the region should also be allowed a fair trial, but with cooperation from its home region. Finally, the Emperor should be allowed the power to indiscriminately pardon any convicted outlaw he or she pleases without question, even if the nation is an enemy of the state.

⯁The White-Mane Royalist Party is lead by the Party Chairman, elected for a term of 6 months each, before running for re-election in the party for another term. There is no deputy chairman position available in the party.
⯁ Elected party members will have the power of being worth 2 votes in party chair elections, and be allowed into the White-Mane Royalist Party Committee, where key party strategies will be devised.
⯁ The White-Mane Royalist Party will allow for all citizens/dual-citizens to become members of the party, on the condition that they publicly state their support for the current sitting Emperor, including the Emperor's name in the statement.
⯁ Party Candidates should receive at least 50% support from party members, with no exception. Party members will be reminded of this when elections arrive.

The party currently has three members (Ecotopia2, The evile republic, and Flame1). When asked how he feels about the creation of the White-Mane Royalist Party, Ecotopia2 replied that he was "..glad that slowly, but surely, Westfalen Westphalia is moving towards becoming more politically proactive region. We White-Manes are fortunate to have the requirements, and are proud patriots of this great region".
Already, there is talk of perhaps more political parties on the way, with one example being the proposition of creating a 'Cheesecake Party', to which the Emperor Nuer-texias would be welcome to join, according to the nation 
Wandering Wallabies on discord. Whether this will prove to truly be a revolutionary moment in recent Westphalian history is yet to be seen. This is The westphalian post, out.

The Emperor, Missing?
The Westphalian Emperor Nuer-texias has not been seen that much, only popping out occasionally with a greeting or remark to the region, before returning to hibernation. When we sent the Emperor questions for the interview we were arranging with his majesty, we have not heard from him since, which is indeed very peculiar. Since that point, Nuer-texias has not been seen in public.
This is not the first instance of a missing person's case in Westfalen Westphalia. For example, most of the staff being kidnapped last week, reportedly by the 'Yang Gang', which has delayed our reporting on the region for quite a while. Then there's the case of Eclandia, a former member of The Council Of Elders, who after missing for a month finally showed up last weekend deceased, lacking 4 fingers, as well as a head. Nobody knows if the 'Yang Gang' was behind this tragedy or not, though they are a suspect. Is it possible even, that our very own Emperor Nuer-texias has been kidnapped, too? Will he reply to our messages?? Will Flame1 be the next Goku?
Unfortunately, we can only speculate, and pray for those lost to return to us. This is The westphalian post, out.

Hulldom, founder of the region The Republican Antilles, announced that the region, a known ally of Westfalen Westphalia, will soon be demolished. Proceeding to do so officially on Wednesday of this week, the reason behind this comes from the inactivity of the region, and the failure to attract new nations into its borders. Deciding enough was enough, Hulldom this week finally decided that it was time to pull the plug.
Unfortunately, because the region's discord was deleted, The westphalian post was unable to find a direct quote announcing the decision. In response to this news, many regions, including Westfalen Westphalia offered refuge to citizens of The Republican Antilles, who will inevitably be kicked our before the region itself shuts down.
