Oh. Sorry. Your post wasn't there when I started writing my last one. Redact the bit about the past half hour. It turned into about 50 minutes anyway.

And sure... cornbread can identify as cake... if it is transbaked.

Yep! that's why I only use WA for raiding cept that 6 months I was delegate of Yggdrasil here recently.

Thinking about it sensibly... "raiding" sounds like an overly grandiose name for something that is actually really pathetic in practice. Like from the name alone you'd figure it was like some huge Mad Max style convoy of heavily armed bandits storming in, blowing sh!t up, taking it by force... but no... it is going in with your friends and having a rigged democratic vote.
So. Damned. Stupid.
Like could you get any more "white-collar crime" than that?

Isn't it just more of the same? More of the anime-populised "We can do it if we work together!" routine? More of the "I have a bigger mob of limp-wristed democratards than you" crap?

Maybe if NationStates was actually structured in a way such that our stats actually MEANT something... If nations with bigger Defense Forces and Weaponisation were actually better at warfare than pacifist nations... If I could actually sell weapons to other nations... it'd be a lot cooler.

As it stands there is basically no real interaction between nations in a technical sense outside the barely used challenge system and the occasional site-wide events.

Little Blobs need to learn how to use their imagination! NS is pretty much a roleplay site.

An actual war system would be cool too though!

Not really the type of roleplay I'm used to personally engaging in. I'm more AD&D... and they're more Phoenix Wright: Kangaroo Court.

Honestly though, more than a real war system... I'd just like to actually be able to sell stuff to other nations, stupid as that sounds. Though honestly, playing Capitalist is less my sort of thing than playing Mad Scientist.

Anyway... do you want to store any sock-puppet nations in my special region for sock-puppets? I'm considering making another one to add to the collection... to see whether I can get the Death-and-Freedom thing right this time (rather than ending up as Master of Space-Lasers as I am now). My Death Rate has dropped so low it doesn't even show up on the results any more until I expand it (i.e. I'm not even in the top 10% any more)... and once upon a time I brushed the top 1%.

Yea I do wish they'd put that bit coin thing back in.. not the stock market part though.. just the mining.. the stock market caused hyper inflation.. plus with a currency maybe mercenaries in gameplay could actually get paid.. only thing is we'd need stuff to spend these currencies on to give them worth..

EEP! you can't let a raider in your puppet stash! I might squeak at something!

I've removed all the WA Delegate authority in my little region except for WA stuff, which can't be removed. So unless I'm much mistaken, while raiders could go there and set themselves up as the WA Delegate, they couldn't actually DO anything with it... right?

And no. Death Rate going down isn't good. The primary premise I used to function on was that I wanted to kill my own population. Obviously somewhere along the way that backfired horribly... probably because every time I killed people, the death rate went down...

Anyway, I just made a new nation... and squirrelled it away with the rest. That should hopefully give me a chance to kill everyone. I already unlocked a neat banner I don't even have on this account yet (and wish I did).
