Princeps Senatus

Whoever is delegate at the time. Responsible for protecting the people's interests in the World Assembly. By definition, as it is the WA delegate, the Princeps Senatus must be a member of the WA. Gets 10 Denarios per month.

Pontifex Maximus
Not elected
The Pontifex Maximus is the temporal head of religion in 21st Century Rome. He is appointed by the Imperator and blesses all festivals and military operations. The position is paid 10 denarios a month and serves until the Imperator removes him from office. The most likely cases of that would be if he leaves the region without notice, is inactive for a while, or is elected for a government position. (I want the pontifex maximus as the only government position for that person, not counting military positions). Has the power of Communications. Also will be given the first opportunity to take a role in the event that an office is or becomes empty. They will receive a part of the pay, or the full pay if serving the full term.

If after 15 days the nation has not returned, must contact the Gromaticus to remove that nation from the map to clear space. Also must ensure that nations holding office have logged in in the last 7 days by checking whether they have answered issues, posted on the RMB, used power, or voted in a poll. If after 7 days, an official has done none of those, the Praetor must telegram them to find out if they are still active. If no response is received after 3 days, the Praetor should report the inactivity to the Consul. Responsible for ensuring that all citizens are respectful and laws are followed. Settles any disputes that come up. Paid 50 denarios per month. Has the power of communications and border control. Serves for 2 months.

Caedile

The Calligraphus will be required to read all the available FAQ’s and answer all questions answered by them made on the RMB or sent by telegram. The Calligraphus shall hold the power of communication. Only nations who have not held any office before will be eligible to become Calligraphus. Nations who have held this office before may not run for a second term in it. The term for this office is two months and two weeks. During the last two weeks the Calligraphus will train his successor. The payment for this office is 35 denarios per month. Upon finishing his last two weeks, the Calligraphus will receive 12 denarios at the end of the month. (managed by Oracle)

Quaestor
It is the Quaestor's duty to keep track of denarios. The Quaestor must on the application swear to maintain the confidentiality of all financial records and to be honest in processing all transactions before being appointed. Must process requests to make payments, such as buying territory on the map, as well as payment for positions and money from festivals, with the money from festivals directed by the Imperator. The Quaestor serves for 4 months, is paid 55 after each month and has the power of communication, although should not use it. The Quaestor is chosen in a special election halfway through the first term to be offset from the regular elections to aid in processing payment for positions. The Quaestor must record privately and telegram the current totals and a copy of all transactions on the first day of each month in the format:
[Purchaser]-[Recipient]-[Purpose]-[Amount]-[Purchaser new amount]-[Recipient new amount]
Also requires that "The State" be placed as the purchaser in the event of pay, and as the recipient if buying a spot on the map or a capital. (does not exist)

Consul
The Consul's job is to serve the people in the executive branch, and is given many of the same powers and responsibilities as the Imperator. A Consul may issue executive orders. A Consul may approve military campaigns. If a Consul desires to lead a campaign, he may do so, otherwise the task is delegated to the Praetor. The Consul may act as a representative of the Imperator in his absence. A Consul may hold no office other than the Consulate. The Consul may draft legislation. Legislation drafted or approved by the Consulate will be subject of further approval or negotiation by the Imperator and the Senate. A Consul may make extraordinary revisions on Senate Legislation. The Consul serves for 6 months, is paid 30 after each month and has the powers of appearance, communication, border control, polls, and embassies.

Elections are held monthly for whatever positions are empty and the terms that expire that month. Within one week before the election, the Imperator should call for candidates and place the proper application on the WFE. Declarations go until the first of the month, but debate may begin from whenever the declaration is made, encouraging candidates to make their declarations sooner.
