The Navy of The South Falls (Complete)
The Navy of The South Falls
History of The South Fallsian Navy:
(WIP)
The South Fallsian Navy was founded on August 16, 1931 to counteract revolutionary tendencies in Wahoda, now part of Ouija province. The Navy was autonomous until February 28, 1969, which was another trigger for the Fallsian Civil War. The first commander of the Navy was His Excellency Fleet Admiral Mykhail Arrington II, who commanded the navy and built it up from 1931-1953.
The navy played a small part in the Fallsian Civil War, but a huge part in both Wahodan Crises. This meant that the navy shelled Wahodan positions in both crises, with destroyers and battleships, and aircraft carriers of support.
The navy is built up into 12 fleets, of about 50 ships each. These fleets are built into task forces, of three fleets each. These task forces are four task forces, one for each of the oceans, and one for each of the continents that the navy can be sent from.
Here is the 16-person Fleet Admiral Council of the South Fallsian Navy:

The Navy Special Forces
The Navy Special Forces are an extension of the navy that act like the marines of The South Falls. They are deployed from RIBs and go inland quickly, where they cutoff enemy lines, and herald the advance of the army on the beachheads, which is meant to collapse the enemy. The commander of these units are Admiral Gustavo Viktorov, who has commanded the unit from 2021, when he founded the unit to fight in the Second Wahodan Emergency. These are split into the first through 5th division, and the Special Forces of the navy are made up of 50,000 men and women.

There are many classes of ship in the South Fallsian Navy. Here they are:
The Palmerston- Class Supercarriers
The Palmerston-Class Supercarriers are used for defense of naval strongholds, and mobile defense of other ships through aircraft carriers and missles. The Palmerston-Class Supercarriers are also used for rescue, as they have a capacity of 8,000 people total. They are named after John Arnold Palmerston, leader of the revolution. The building of the Palmerston-Class was requested in a contract for a 'heavy carrier' in 2021. The first ship, the Palmerston, was completed in 2024 and served in the Second Wahodan Emergency, just in time to see it end on December 25, 2024. 16 are planned to be completed.

The Arrington-Class Light Carriers
The Arrington-Class Light Carriers are built to support small wars and special forces. They carry enough aircraft to start an airstrike, which is meant to offensively destabilize the enemy, to help the army, or the heavy carriers and heavier navy, break down the defenses with missiles and guns. They are named after Mykhail Arrington II, who founded the independent South Fallsian Navy. The ships were requested by the government, and a contract was given out in 2030. The first ship was built in 2032.

The Tirano-Class Carrier Destroyer/Battleship
The Tirano Class Battleships are heavy and somewhat slow ships that are designed to fight with some escort, pulverizing other ships with it's multiple artillery guns and missiles, making it a ship packed full with weapons and other systems. The Tirano class are also made for carrier escort, and as "carrier destroyers" to sink carriers with so much armor that submarines can not sink it alone. The Tirano- class were commissioned in 2021, and are the oldest class in the Navy. The first ship was built in 2024, and the last in 2031. 44 ships out of 44 were completed. They were named after Agatha Tirano, who was the second-in-command of J.A. Palmerston, and took over when he was unhealthy from 1991-1999, when The South Falls had it's greatest victories.

The Fezziwig-Class Guided Missle Destroyers
The Fezziwig-Class Destroyers are fast and light ships designed to escort the aircraft carriers and the submarines that prowl the waters in a naval battle. The aircraft is also to be 'backed up' by the guns and missiles of the destroyers that can seek out submarines and other ships. The Fezziwig-Class Destroyers were commissioned in 2023, and the first ship was built in 2027. 28 have been completed, out of a planned 96. They carry Guided Missiles for backup of aircraft, to take out other missiles and anti-aircraft guns. They were named after Her Elected Excellency Katherine Fezziwig, the second Prime Minister of the Second Republic, who built infrastructure and helped the South Falls, but died suddenly in 2018, at the age of 51.

The Malphe-Class Attack Submarines
The Malphe-Class attack submarines are attack submarines that are designed to be "stealth raiders" that can destroy surface ships, and other submarines in stealth, without being destroyed themselves by those ships. The Malphe-Class are heavily armed, and also back up light carriers as escorts, because of the fact that they can attack surface threats to those light carriers. The submarines are also designed to be 100% crew death-proof, with armor and pressure-sucking bulkheads, which means that the crew can escape, or the submarines can surface. They were commissioned in 2025, with 88 built out of a planned 100. They are named after the Nation Malphe, who has advanced diplomatic relations with The South Falls, and defended it.

The Morton-Class Guided Missle Submarines
The Morton-Class Guided Missle Submarines are built to launch cruise missiles against targets. These submarines are to be more covert than surface launchers, but their power levels are less than the surface submarines, like the Fezziwig-class. They only carry torpedoes and missiles, and are deployed mostly for quick responses and for threat policing, because of the fact that they pact a huge punch, quickly and speedily. They were commisioned in 2020, and have all been built. They are designed, like the Malphe-class to be crew-death proof. 115 out of 115 ships have been built.
The Morton Class is named after Stanley Darnell Morton, the first Prime Minister of The South Falls under the First Republic.

The Edgemore-Class Modular Combat Vessels
The Edgemore-Class Modular Combat Vessels are ships that are designed to undertake missions for the South Fallsian Navy. These ships are fast, and lightly armed. This means that they are designed to go in and go back under escort, of a cruiser or possibly one fast attack submarine. They carry about 60 troops, that can get into a combat situation quickly, and land on shore. The Modular Combat Vessels can give some support towards the soldiers landing on the beach, though if the battle gets too heavy for the ships to survive, can also pull out of the battle. 250 have been commissioned, and they began being build in 2028. 200 have been built, and that means 12,000 people can be carried in one trip with these ships. They were named after Roy Edgemore, one of the greatest Prime Ministers of the First Republic.
