Belgian Government
Government
Belgium is classified as a Parliamentary Democracy, headed by a Noble Monarchy (meaning the monarchy is only for symbolism). Pre WWII the King did have official powers, but Post WWII those no longer existed. The government of Belgium regulates and decides on rules for the country.
The Parliament
Parliament is the main governing body of Belgium. It decides on legislation and rules and also elects the Prime Minister as well as other cabinet Positions.
