Geneva Treaty Organization | Applications
APPLICATIONS
To become an involved participant of Geneva Treaty Organization, there is some paperwork you need to fill in. Chief among these are the Denizenship application and the Roleplay license.
A Denizen of the Geneva Treaty Organization is a long-term, committed, active resident of the region, and are eligible to vote and have the opportunity to become a roleplayer in the regional RP. The application process is simple and straightforward, and requires you to fill out the following questions, copy and paste them with your answers, and send them to Korv, The maliki caliphate,
Rumona, or Yugoslavika via Discord (preferable) or telegram. You do not have to be a denizen to reside in the region.1 | Nation name:

I, INSERT NATION HERE, in sound mind and good conscience, do hereby declare my loyalty to the Regional Government of Geneva Treaty Organization, and to the region's rules and laws. I swear to respect and uphold the Common Law and the laws adopted by the region. I recognize that should I break my oath I shall be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and that my citizenship may be forfeit.

our Discord (preferable), or via telegram. You must be a denizen of the region to participate in regional roleplays, and you must have a roleplay license to claim a spot on the map. 1 | What will your roleplay nation be named (if same as NationStates nation, leave blank)?

4 | Population of entire nation (this is NOT based on the population of your NationState. Rather, it is based on the territories that you are claiming. A little deviation from the population of the territories is permitted.):
5 | History of your nation (Keep it brief, and take into account all the territories you plan to claim. If you wish to reference any nations whose geographic location has been claimed on the map, please get the permission of the person who lays claim to that territory beforehand. Your history MUST adapt to their history, and any issues regarding this can be brought to the Regional Administration):
6 | Have you ever RPed before? If so, link one RP example with your message:
The GTO employs a real world map. Colours will represent the nations played by players while the neutral white colour will represent NPC nations played by thethe Founder or another designated regional moderator. NPC nations (nations not colored on the map) cannot be played by another player without the express consent of a regional moderator with permission from the Founder. Players must contact the Founder regarding their claims via Discord's direct messaging system (faster) or through in-game telegrams to the Founder (slower). These claims will subsequently be approved or denied by the Founder. If approved players should expect to be on the map within 24 hours. Once on the map, players may begin roleplaying. Make sure your claim fits a coherent story that fits the regions objectives, regional history and the players desires. Claims based on pure greed or for the simplistic want to have more will not be permitted in the region.
Expansions in the GTO are frowned upon. Due to its basis in the real world, true annexations of nations are realistically nearly impossible. For this reason, large annexations of territory will not be allowed. The Founder may permit them under special circumstances. Regions under occupation will be symbolized with lines over the respective territory.
Make sure you include a link to your image (recommended that you upload your image to this helpful tool and post the imgur direct link below). Expansion claims (when permitted) must be roleplayed, unlike starter claims.
