Prime-world: A World's Factbook (WIP)

The Prime-world refers to the Home-world in which Pilarcraft is set. Different Historical events, as well as Pilartic (and otherwise) interventions on the international scale, made this Homeworld have quite a few key differences with Terra Firma, a home-world in which Pilarcraft was destroyed eons ago during the First Catastrophe by which I mean IRL.
The term Prime-world comes from the fact that this Home-world, being the one that Pilarcraft exists on, was named such by the PID's very own Inter-dimensional and Time Bureau (which would soon separate from its mother organization as the importance of Time and Dimension hopping increased) in order to name other Home-worlds from it.

World Powers
The Following Seven Countries are the world's most powerful nations on earth, or the seven permanent members of the World Assembly Security Council. Their Spheres of Influence are considered to be world-wide, while their military power (generally) only comparable to each other. These countries, in truth, make the world go round, as they each control, or are a controlling part of, a hegemony.

  1. Pilarcraft

    Information

    - Capital: Bopindar
    - Population: 64,581,200
    - Government Type: Parliamentarian Federation
    - Currency: Pilartic Credit
    - Head of State: The Triumvirate
    - Head of Government: Chief Director Lynkåpe Grov

The Confederal Alliance of Pilarcraft, more commonly referred to as The Confederal Alliance or Pilarcraft, is one of the most powerful countries in the Prime-world. The rank of the "first" world power is contested by two other nations, but The Confederal Alliance is a claimant of that title.

The Confederal Alliance is a member of the World Assembly, The Alliance to Stabilize Middle East, Combined Joint Taskforce: Operation Inherent Resolve, the Group of Seven, the Group of Twenty, the World Trade Organisation, And one of the permanent seats in the WA Security Council.

The Confederal Alliance follows a unique parliamentarian model. The Legislating body is the Council of Ambassadors, a unicameral body fully elected by the public, while it is led by the Triumvirate, which is made of the highest candidate of the the three highest parties in every election, once every four years.

Despite the Confederal Alliance's unofficial and yet not condemned discrimination of the world's three most popular religions (Christianity, Islam, and Judaism), the Confederal Alliance remains a popular tourist spot, mostly due to its culture, superior technology, exotic wildlife and even-more-exotic living races. The Flying State of Bopindar, as well as Whiterun, Aldur Borg, Windhelm, Solitude, Hvetlyn, and Gord, along with other sites, are the most popular tourist sites.

The Confederal Alliance has the highest number of personnel, the highest percentage of military personnel divided by population, and the highest technology level in the world, and is divided into Three Official branches as well as an unofficial Militia branch that operates where conventional military can not operate. The Confederal Alliance is one of the world's nuclear powers.

Due to the aforementioned discrimination of the Abrahamics, as well as unique ambitions (such as cutting NATO and CSTO down to size, etc.), Pilarcraft is not viewed favorably by the other world powers, though most of the time the nation ignores it.

  2. The United States

    Information

    - Capital: Washington D.C
    - Population: 393,489,000
    - Government Type: Presidential Federal Republic
    - Currency: American Dollar
    - Head of State: President Donald Trump
    - Head of Government: President Donald Trump

The United States of America, commonly referred to as America, the United States, the USA, or the US, is the also one of the most powerful countries in the world, and a claimant to the number one relevant power. Prior to the Revelation of Pilarcraft in 2000, The US was the untested most powerful nation, now it has to share that title with Russia and Pilarcraft.

It is a member of The North Atlantic Treaty Organization, the World Assembly, The World Trade Organization, APEC, The Group of Seven, The Group of 20, the Pan-American Council, and has a permanent members of the WASC.

It is a Federal Presidential Republican Democracy, currently headed by President Donald Trump. The president is elected every 4 years, and he or she can apply for another reelection. It's legislative body is called the Congress, a bicameral legislature split into the Senate and the House of Representatives. Laws are drafted by members of the HR, and voted on, which would be then sent to the Senate for approval, and finally to the President. The President has a veto power, but that can be overridden by another vote from Congress.

America was once a colony of the now extinct British Empire, and inherits much of its culture from it. That's not to say the waves of immigrants and absorbed peoples contributed to their unique culture. Tourists can visit magnificent natural sights, or bustling urban centres. The common American is famous for their stereotypical fondness for firearms, fatty foods, and patriotism. The National policies in the Cold War, having been named 'McCarthyism', have remained ever since, whichin being part of any and all left-wing ideologist organization (from a social democracy or even centrism to flat out socialism and anarchism) are illegal and punishable by death. The Country is extremely Authoritarian and Extremely right-wing both in politics, society, and economics.

Its military is called the United States Armed Forces. It is very powerful, and is deployed all around the globe. Their military is known to have the highest budget in the world, reaching $1.19 trillion. It also has the Fourth largest amount of personnel. It is one of the nuclear powers.

The United States has, since after the second world war, remained as the global leader of the Western Bloc, the Leader of NATO, and an extremely vindictive user of the Veto power in the WASC, particularly in the cases of condemnation of their allies or satellite states.

  3. Russia

    Information

    - Capital: Moscow
    - Population: 144,526,636
    - Government Type: Republican Semi-presidential Quasti-Constitutional Federation
    - Currency: Russian ruble (₽)
    - Head of State: President Vladimir Putin
    - Head of Government: Dmitry Medvedev

The Russian Federation (Russian: Росси́йская Федерaция; Rossiyskaya Federatsiya), commonly referred to as Russia, is the also a claimant of the world's first power, a title that it inherited from the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics before it was dissolved in 1991. In the years between 1991 and 2000, it was the world's second greatest power, but with the arrival of Pilarcraft, the three countries (USA, CAP, and RF) have been in a challenge to claim the title.

It is a member of the European Union, The United Nations, The World Trade Organization, APEC, The Group of Seven, The Group of Twenty, and has a permanent seat in the WA Security Council, and it leads the CSTO.

According to the Constitution of Russia, the country is a federation and semi-presidential republic, wherein the President is the head of state and the Prime Minister is the head of government. The Russian Federation is fundamentally structured as a multi-party representative democracy, with the federal government composed of three branches. The Legislative Branch is The bicameral Federal Assembly of Russia, made up of the 450-member State Duma and the 166-member Federation Council, adopts federal law, declares war, approves treaties, has the power of the purse and the power of impeachment of the President, while The President is the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, can veto legislative bills before they become law, and appoints the Government of Russia (Cabinet) and other officers, who administer and enforce federal laws and policies. The Constitutional Court, Supreme Court and lower federal courts, whose judges are appointed by the Federation Council on the recommendation of the President, interpret laws and can overturn laws they deem unconstitutional.

Despite most of it being a cold tundra, Russia is a popular place to visit. Tourists often come for skiing and hiking in the snowy countryside, or for business in the rich cities of Moscow and St Petersburg. The Russians are famous for their vodka, which has become stereotypical to them, along with the ushanka fur hat.

Its military is called the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. One of the most powerful on Earth, it has the second largest amount of troops in any active military force. It has a substantial air force, and a relatively large navy. It is one of the 7 nations with nuclear weapons, and holds the world's largest nuclear stockpile.

Russia has a status of 'love em or hate em' within the international communities, whichin their allies love them and the rest of the world does not. Russia's policy of active interference, intervention, and military presence in any place it deems 'unsecure' (read: Any place that has a weak military and not claimed by someone they don't want to cross) has made it a threat to world peace.

  4. China

    Information

    - Capital: Peking
    - Population: 1,308,419,000
    - Government Type: Single-party Autocracy
    - Currency: Chinese Renminbi (元) (CNR)
    - Head of State: General Secretary Xi Jinping
    - Head of Government: Premier Li Keqiang

The People's Republic of China (Chinese: 中華人民共和國; Zhōnghuá Rénmín Gònghéguó), commonly referred to as China, is a large country in Eastern Asia, and the second-in-charge of the CSTO, directly after Russia. It is seen as a super power, and possibly one of the strongest powers in the world, especially in the economy where it has seen only increase since its reforms in the 1970s.

China is a member of the World Assembly, the CSTO, the Military-Economic Axis of Asia, and has a permanent seat in the WASC. Apart from these, it is not a member of any important international organization.

The Chinese government claims to be a "Marxist-Leninist Socialist Democratic Republic", though is, in reality, a One-Party Totalitarian Dictatorial regime under the Communist Party of China, led by The Chairman of the Republic, who acts as an autocratic head of state, with the head of government office a ceremonial title with no legal power. China has a unicameral legislature, named the National People's Congress, which is the largest legislature in the world, with 2,987 members, who are all under the CPC. They decide on national affairs and laws, though every decision is ultimately that of the Premier.

China is one of the oldest nations in the world. Despite changing dynasties through its history, and finally ending its monarchy in 1912, it has always kept its unique and eccentric culture. Being an Asian country, China is known for its oddities in terms of food and customs. Despite the government promoting modernism, many Chinese stick to their traditional values and cultures.

The Chinese Army is called "People's Liberation Army", and is the second country where the number of personnel is concerned, though compared to its population this number is in reality minuscule. It has a vast and powerful land-based military, which is employed in the Far East on pacification and intervention missions, particularly (and the most recently) in Myanmar, after the Rohingya ethnic cleansing incident. The Chinese Navy patrols the Eastern Pacific frequently, often warring the pirates in the sea, as well as guarding the coasts of North Korea. In contrast, The Chinese Air Force is not quite powerful, mostly depending on Russia and the rest of the CSTO for that.

China is, despite its autocratic statesmanship and being the longest standing State Socialist Country of date, is actually the only CSTO member that is not hated by the non-aligned countries. Their sense of duty, particularly about their neighbors, as well as numerous missions of peacebringing, positive intervention, as well as rebuilding destroyed territories, has given them a much more positive view than Russia or Folknoren.

The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, commonly called Great Britain, The UK, or the United Kingdom, once the greatest Empires of all time, is a country located in the two Britains, slightly west of Europe. The UK is one of the world's greatest powers, with more than fifty oversees territories as well as semi-indirect control over more than ten other countries that make the Commonwealth of Nations.

The UK is a member of the World Assembly, the World Trade Organization, Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation, The European Union, The Group of Seven, the Group of Twenty, the NATO, The Monarchist Defense Pact, acts as the leader (and indirect ruler) of the Commonwealth of Nations (formerly the Imperial Federation of Britain), and has a permanent seat in the World Assembly Security Council

It is a Parliamentarian Monarchy, headed by Queen Elizabeth II. Its law-making body is the Parliament, a bicameral legislature divided into the House of Lords and the House of Commons, the former appointed and the latter elected by nationwide elections, and headed by the Prime Minister, currently Prime Minister Theresa May. Its job is to write and propose laws, with the Queen's duty more of a sigatorial. The Monarch may also request removal of laws, or refuse to sign them, which will be put to effect if accepted by the Parliament or a Referendum, though may never change the laws consisting the: Basic Policy on Human Rights, and the Law of Royal Succession

It is a popular destination for tourists, and has a vast array of sights both in the mainland and its territories. Its culture is a remarkable thing, both influencing and influenced by a lot of other world cultures. Places to visit are wide in selection, and its cities hold great historical monuments along with their progressive skyscrapers. The Brits are famous for their love of tea, grandiose literature, rather sarcastic and humorous nature, and great fascination for technology.

Its military is called the Royal Armed Forces, said to be the sixth most powerful on the planet. Its army is supported by a large navy and air force, and sports a highly mechanised force. It has an advanced array of weapons in its arsenal, and is famed for its specially trained men and women, supported by armoured tanks, advanced planes, and mighty ships. The Royal Armed Forces have the 4th largest amount of personnel. It also is one of the many nuclear powers.

The United Kingdom is one of the most influential countries in the world, though her influence and power has, in the last century, been decreased and taken over by the United States.

  6. Germany

    Information

    - Capital: Berlin
    - Population: 82.67 million

Germany, Officially German Federation (German: Föderation von Deutschland), also known as the The Federation of German States, and the Republic of Germany, is a country located in Western Europe, the most powerful European State and a federation of all 'German States', as they were called, which was formed after the Republic of Germany took in the Democratic Republic of Germany in the end of the cold war.

Germany is a powerful country, and a world power in her own right. She is the leading member of the European Union, the NATO, a member of the Group of Seven, the Group of Twenty, the World Trade Organization, the Trans-Atlantic Trade Federation, as well as a member of the World Assembly (and one of the owners of the security council's permanent seat)

Germany is a Federation of sixteen dependent states. Where Government is concerned, It is a Federal Parliamentary Republican Democracy, withThe Chancellor as head of government and State. The president is a figurehead, and government power rests in the Reichstag, led by the Chancellor. It is a unicameral parliament. Like most parliaments, it drafts and votes on laws to pass.

Germany is a popular tourist site in the European Continent. A place of ancient history, notable culture and great work ethic, many German Cathedrals, from the older Catholic ones to the Reformed and Lutherian ones, as well as various castles, military sites, natural beauties, among others.

The Federation of Germany has a standing army, though it is not anywhere as powerful as the armies of her fellow World Powers, particularly because of the fact that the European Union, which she leads, also has a standing army (that has come to act as that of Germany in the recent years). The German Army (The Wermacht) is active in various NATO intervention campaigns in the Middle East, as well as an active garrison in the Borders of Folknoren.

due to Germany's two last unsuccessful attempts at unifying Europe into one singular power, Her control of the European Union is now seen by some of the other countries as suspicious. That said, Germany has, yet, failed to show a reason to be antagonized, and enjoys a friendly relation with other countries.

  7. Frievolk

    Information

    - Capital: Berun
    - Population: 4.1 Million
    - Government Type: Parliamentarian Federative Monarchist Hegemony
    - Currency: Glod
    - Head of State: Emperor Johann von Berun
    - Head of Government: Chancellor Otto van Harlow

    Flag

The Kingdom and Empire of Frievolk (Frievolker: Die Frievolker Konigreik und Kaiserreik), more commonly referred to as Frievolk, is one of the powerful Empires in the world, with a core state in the Benelux and a small number of domains around the world.

Frievolk is a member of the World Assembly, The Alliance to Stabilize Middle East, Combined Joint Taskforce: Operation Inherent Resolve, the Group of Seven, the Group of Twenty, the World Trade Organisation, the Monarchist Defense Pact, And one of the permanent seats in the WA Security Council.

The Imperial Federation is a parliamentarian semi-constitutional monarchy. A Parliament, called 'The Imperial Diet', is in charge of legislation while The Chancellor, a title appointed by the Emperor himself, is in charge of the day-to-day government of the Federation. The Emperor has the right to refuse to sign laws, or to revoke them, as well as dissolve the parliament and call for another election, but under certain conditions.

It remains a popular tourist spot. Her unique history, as well as her various domains around the world (including Hansfund, Persen Inseln, Belgium, and the Afrikaanerstaat), and her politics make Frievolk a popular immigration and tourist spot, especially from other states in Europe and the Middle East. A new wave of American Leftist refugees have arrived from the United States due to the recent political climate, who have mostly settled in Hansfund.

The Imperial Federation's military is small, and does not compare to other Militaries in the World Powers list, but her alliance with Pilarcraft (and the ASME) give her the boost she needs. The Guns of Berun specialize on quick attacks, destructive hit-and-run tactics, and mobile units instead of the more conventional heavy-and-large tactic most of the world is a fan of.

Due to the the poor diplomatic skills of Emperor John Donovan (in his early years as the new Emperor), the European Union, the United States, and Folknoren, are not fans of Frievolk, but the European Union has slowly changed their opinion again, with possibilities of Frievolk rejoining the EU on the table, though it's unlikely for Frievolk to do that any time soon.

Regional Powers
These countries have a level of superiority or dominance in their own (or, some times, more than just one) regions. They appear in no particular order as followed:

  1. Folknoren

    Information

    - Capital: Copenhagen
    - Population: 32,174,828
    - Government Type: Single-party Autocracy
    - Currency: Kron
    - Head of State: Chairman Pelicus Orsavo
    - Spheres of Influence: Northern Europe, Northeast Atlantic, the Baltic Sea

    Flag

The Nordbo Socialist Republic of Folknoren (Nordbo: Nordbo Socialistiske Republik Folknoren) commonly referred to as Folknoren, is a large country in Northern Europe. It is seen as a regional power, mostly due to its massive landmass and population.

Folknoren is a member of the World Assembly, and the CSTO, though it is barely tolerated in either, given her poor relations with other nations.

The Nordbo government claims to be "the legal heir to the Soviet Union", and true to form, it's a One-Party Totalitarian Dictatorial regime under the Nordboerne Socialist Party (NSP), led by The Chairman, who acts as an autocratic head of state, with the head of government office a ceremonial title with no legal power. Folknoren has no legislation, with the Party's word being law.

The Nordbo Army is called "Nordboerne People's Liberation Army", and its recent, and only, conflict was the losing war against Pilarcraft.

  2. Turkey

    Information

    - Capital: Ankara
    - Population: 70.23 Million
    - Government Type: Presidential Absolutist Republic
    - Currency: Turkish lira
    - Head of State: President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan
    - Head of Government: President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan
    - Spheres of Influence: The Middle East, Europe

    Flag

The Republic of Turkey (Turkish: Türkiye Cumhuriyeti), commonly known as Turkey, is a medium sized country, and a regional power in the Middle East. Recently in a quickly deteriorating relationship with Syria, and even moreso the Arab population of the middle east, Turkey's seen a considerable size of its power cut down following the end of the Syrian Civil War

It is a member of the Group of Twenty, the Middle Eastern Regional Gathering, the WTO, and the World Assembly.

Turkey is, officially speaking, a Unitary Presidential Republic, under the leadership of President Recep Erdoğan, who is both Head of State and Head of Government. The legislature of Turkey is the General Assembly, and consists of the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies. It functions similarly to most parliaments, which draft and debate on laws before officially passing them, and acts as a check for the other branches of government.

Following the revolution in Iran, Turkey (and later, the city of Dubai from the now defunct UAE) became tourist hubs, especially since Turkey abolished the visa requirement for tourist entry. Turkey's historical sights, culture, natural beauty, and soap operas are famous (some, not for the right reasons)

Turkey follows a General Presidential model. The President of Turkey, elected by the population every four years, is the head-of-state and he/she elects a prime minister who is the head of government. The Legislating body is The Grand National Assembly of Turkey (Turkish: Türkiye Büyük Millet Meclisi), usually referred to simply as the TBMM or Parliament (Turkish: Meclis or Parlamento), is the unicameral Turkish legislature. It is the sole body given the legislative prerogatives by the Turkish Constitution.

The Turkish Armed Forces is a relatively modern, medium-sized force. It consists of the Land Forces and the Naval Forces. Despite having relatively good air power, they are one of the only countries without an independent air force, with all their air capability instead under the Land Forces' Flying Corps. It has a small navy, due to a relatively small and safe coastline.

Turkey has, following the final months of the Syrian Civil War, lost a lot of its status. The Anti-Kurd racist policies, the anti-union, and later anti-protest clamp-downs, its unofficial intemplation of the Grand Mosque of Turkey as the state religion (something that goes against both the Turkish Constitution and the National spirit) and finally its flat out invasion of Syria in the early 2018 have lost them their membership in the NATO, and many have started calling them out for fascistic tendencies.

  3. Iran

    Information

    - Capital: Tehran
    - Population: 81,000,000
    - Government Type: Federal Presidential Republic
    - Currency: Iranian Parse (AIP)
    - Head of State: President Arash Damavandi
    - Head of Government: Prime Minister Ava Sarimehr
    - Spheres of Influence: Middle East

    Flag

The Allied Republic of Iran (Persian: جمهوری متحد ایران; Jomhuri-ye Mottahed-e Irān), more commonly Iran or Allied Iran, is another medium-sized nation in the Middle-East.

It is a member of the ASME, the WA, the Middle Eastern Regional Gathering, the WTO, and the Group of Twenty.

Persia, ever since the overthrow of the Islamic Republic in 2017, is a Federal Presidential Republic. It is led by President Arash Damavandi and Prime Minister Ava Sarimehr. Its parliament is simply called the Parliament, a bicameral legislature consisting of the Senate and the National Assmebly as its upper house and lower house, respectively. Like the parliaments of most democratic nations, its jobs are to create laws, check on the other branches of government, appropriate budget, et cetera

Ever since the revolution, Iran has been trying to rebuild her former self, and for that, tourism has seen a rise. Though it is early to say, as of yet, it is likely for Iran to become the Absolute Regional power by 2025, and for it to join the list of World Powers by 2030, if Russia's fall, and US's sudden unpopularity is anything to go by.

Iran follows a General Presidential model. The President of Iran, elected by the population every four years, is the head-of-state and he/she elects a prime minister who is the head of government. The Legislating body is The Parliament (Persian: پارلمان), usually referred to as the National Assembly (مجلس شورای ملی) or Assembly (Persian: مجلس), is the unicameral Iranian legislature. It is the sole body given the legislative prerogatives by the Iranian Constitution.

The Armed Forces of the Republic of Allied Iran is the country's professional military force. It is medium-sized, and fairly decent and improving in terms of equipment and training. Their arsenal is mostly imported, from American jets to Russian submarines. They make no claims of not building nuclear weapons, and can be considered a Nuclear power, but their arsenal is nowhere as big as most of the world's at best having 5-10 ICBMs as of now.

The Republic of Iran has slowly been working on her absolutely horrid reputation, another thing they inherited from the previous regime. Their membership of the ASME has started to show them as a force working to stabilize the Middle East, though it has also worked in radicalizing their Arab neighbors against them.

  4. France

    Information

    - Capital: Paris
    - Population: 68.9 Million
    - Government Type: Presidential Constitutional Republic
    - Currency: Franc, Euro

The French Republic (French: Republique Francias), more commonly France, is a big country in Europe with various oversees territories in Africa and South and Central Americas.

It is a member of the NATO, the WA, the European Union, the WTO, the Trans-Atlantic Trade union, and the Group of Twenty.

France was one of the longest standing kingdoms in Europe, after it defeated the English in the 100 years war, but eventually the monarchy fell to the revolutionary France. From that moment in 1793, republicanism became a tradition, and the French might be one of the most staunch republicans there are, up there with the Americans.

Since the second World War that destroyed her colonial influence, her national pride, and her status as a world power, France has been slowly trying to regain those statuses, but soon realized that the age of multiple world powers was gone. France is content, at least for now, to remain a member of the NATO, the greatest military alliance at this day and age, and to be a regional power in Europe.

The French Parliament (French: Parlement français) is the bicameral legislature of the French Republic, consisting of the Senate (Sénat) and the National Assembly (Assemblée nationale). The Country is led by a president (or National Chief), elected democratically, who has to obey the laws of the Parliament.

The Armed Forces of the French Republic is the country's professional military force. It is large-sized, and one of the most highly trained in the world, at least apart from the few exceptions. Their arsenal is a mix of import and national productions. France has been a nuclear superpower since 1965, and has not hidden it, though has refused to join the MAD doctrine.

France is one of the most well-received countries by tourists, who enjoy visiting her historical sites, castles and churches. The French Cuisine is also well-known in the world, as is their unique form of poetry.

  5. Spain

    Information

    - Capital: Barcelona

    - Government Type: Absolute Monarchy
    - Currency: Spanish Peseta, Euro

The Kingdom of Spain (Spanish: Reino de España), more commonly Spain, Iberia, Union of Iberian Kingdoms or The United Kingdoms of Castille, Granada, Aragon, and Portugal, is a big country in Europe, overspanning the entirety of the Iberian Peninsula with various controlled territories in Northern Africa, and South and Central Americas.

It is a member of the NATO, the WA, the European Union, the WTO, the Trans-Atlantic Trade union, The Monarchist Defense Pact, and the Group of Twenty.

Iberia's history is a strange one. Since the ending of the Reconquista in 1492 when Castille annexed Granada, the idea of an Iberian Nation was created. The idea came to fruition after Portugal annexed Castille, and then was completely dominated by Aragon, which conquered the entire Iberian Peninsula and founded Spain. For a long time, until the early twentieth century, Spain was a superpower in the world, competing only with Britain, France, and possibly the Dutch Republic, but like all other superpowers, she was humiliated in the Great War. as a result, a civil war started between the Nationalist Faction led by Franco, the Royalist Faction led by the House of Bourbon, and the Republican Faction led by the Castillians. Franco managed to take over the country, but was toppled soon after the Second World War, and Monarchy was restored. Since then, the House of Bourbon has alternated between punishing her enemies, rebuilding the destroyed lands of Spain, and rebuilding the military. Even now, Spain is a member of NATO, though often seen as a wild-card, and one that can not be trusted. The recent protests led by the Castillean separatists, which was faced with brutal repression, had marred her image even farther.

The Cortes Generales (General Courts) are the bicameral legislature of Spain, consisting of two chambers: the Congress of Deputies (the lower house) and the Senate (the upper house).

The Armed Forces of the Kingdom of Spain is the country's professional military force. It is large-sized, and one of the most highly trained in the world, at least apart from the few exceptions. Their arsenal is a mix of import and national productions. France has been a nuclear superpower since 1992, and has not hidden it, following the MAD doctrine.

Spain, mostly due to the country's relative oppression of her minorities, lack of care for civil rights, and brutal methods of 'dealing with protests', is not a popular tourist hub. Of course, you'd still get the random history-enthusiast or party-goer wanting to visit the beaches of Lisbon, but apart from that (and their football) they have little to no appeal for tourism

  6. Austria

    - Capital: Vienna
    - Population: 59,800,000
    - Government Type: Imperial Semi-Constitutional Monarchy

The Austrian Empire (Kaisertum Österreich), more commonly Austria-Hungary, Austria, Joint Kingdoms of Austria and Hungary or Imperial Austria, is a big country in Europe, made of various smaller countries that fall in both Western and Eastern Europe.

It is a member of the Non-Aligned Pact, the WA, the European Union, the WTO, the Monarchist Defense Pact, the Dominion of von Habsburg, and the Group of Twenty.

After the end of the First World War, Austria-Hungary was divided, and their Empire destroyed, this led to their decay at the rise -and then fall- of the Weimar Republic and then their humiliation at the hands of the German Reich. This was why Austria reverted their decision to bring Republicanism, and brought back the house of Habsburg-Lorraine (which was, in 1976, changed into Habsburg as Lorraine was taken in as a smaller branch of The Habsburg house) to rule over their kingdom. Hungary, and various other former Imperial territories soon returned to the Austrian Empire. Austria was originally a member of NATO, but they left the organization as soon as the Cold War was over, and they have been a member of the Non-Aligned Pact ever since.

While the nation is led by a King-Emperor, the Head of Government is the Minister-President, elected democratically by the population, while the Legislation is The Imperial Council, a bicameral body: the upper house is the House of Lords (German: Herrenhaus), and the lower house the House of Deputies (German: Abgeordnetenhaus). To become law, bills have to be passed by both houses, signed by the government minister responsible, and then granted royal assent by the Emperor.

The Armed Forces of the Austrian Empire is the country's professional military force. It is large-sized, and one of the most highly trained in the world, at least apart from the few exceptions. Austria enjoys a vast Naval, Aerial, and Land supremacy in the Eastern Europe, though her claim is weak in the Western Europe, she is a Nuclear Power, and recently part of a pact to terraform Mars, and possibly at some later point Venus or Pluto.

Austria has the claim of "Earth's center of Music, Culture, classical arts, and religion", which has made them a popular tourist hub in the Continent. They also have a protectorate in Asia (Nicobar Islands, among other territories) that see a moderate level of tourist attraction.

The Empire of Japan (Japanese: 日本帝国; Nihon Teikoku), commonly referred to as Japan, is a leading trading and naval power in Asia.
It is a member of the WA, the Non-Aligned Pact, WTO, APEC, The Monarchist Defense Pact, and G20.

It is a Semi-Constitutional Monarchy, headed by Emperor Akihito and Prime Minister Shinzō Abe. It's legislature is the Imperial Diet, which is divided into the House of Peers and the House of Representatives, both of which are in charge of making laws for the joint approval of the Emperor and the Prime Minister. The Emperor holds minor, but existent power, though the joint votes of the diet is at all times supreme over both him and the Prime Minister.

Japanese culture is famous for its mix of tradition and modern aspects. They are famous for their uniquely odd foods, like sushi and ramen, practices such as bushido and other local traditions, both traditional and modern pop music, and their trademark: anime. Japan's territories sport amazing beaches, magnificent urban sky-rises, and beautiful natural resources, including their famed cherry blossom or "Sakura" trees.

Militarily, it is rather powerful. Officially called the Imperial Japanese Armed Forces, it has one of the largest fleet of ships in Asia, and a highly trained medium-sized army. Despite budget cuts, it still maintains dominance in the locality, and is more than capable of projecting Japanese influence wherever it pleases. It also maintains a small nuclear arsenal, being one of the 7 nuclear powers.

The Democratic Republic of Federated Syria (Arabic: جمهورية ديمقراطية الفدرالية السورية; jumhuriat dimuqratiat alfidiraliat alsuwria), more commonly Syria or Federated Syria, is a small-sized nation in the Middle-East.

It is a member of the ASME, the WA, the Middle Eastern Regional Gathering, and the WTO.

Syria has had a long history, though it has been a district, province, or domain of another state. At first, it was the Persian Empire, then the Roman Empire, then the Ottoman Empire, and finally the Imperial Federation of Britain, but Syria found independence during the Cold War, when the Imperial Federation reverted to the Commonwealth, releasing the non-British nations from its yoke. Syria was soon taken in by Arab Nationalists, and then by Arab Supremacists styling themselves as 'Arab Socialist' republicans who formed the Arab Socialist Republic of Syria.

Syria fell into a civil war in 2011, after a series of protests in the country failed to bring any reform. This Civil War, which got complicated and convoluted through its journey, was finished when the Democratic Federation of Northern Syria, a self-styled Autonomous Region predominantly in the Kurdish Territories, toppled Assad and declared themselves the new government. Quickly, they were taken in by the ASME, and started rebuilding what had been lost.

The Country's led by a President, like most other presidential democracies, who is the head-of-state and the head-of-government. The Country's legislation is Al-majlis al-Federaliya (المجلس الفدرالیه, Federal Assembly), a unicameral body of legislation.

The Armed Forces of the Federated Syria is the country's professional military force. It is small-sized, and fairly decent and improving in terms of equipment and training. Their arsenal is mostly imported, from American jets to Russian submarines, and they are (and have never been) a Nuclear Power.

Syria has slowly been working on her absolutely horrid reputation, another thing they inherited from the previous regime. Their membership of the ASME has started to show them as a force working to stabilize the Middle East, though it has also worked in radicalizing their Arab neighbors against them.

  9. Netherlands

The Kingdom of Netherlands (Koninkrijk der Nederlanden), more commonly Netherlands or Holland, is a small country in Europe, with five oversees territories in the Caribbean and one in Oceania.

It is a member of the NATO, the WA, the European Union, the WTO, the Monarchist Defense Pact, and the Group of Twenty.

The House of Orange-Nassau, which is part of a larger clan that is the House of Nassau, has ruled the Kingdom of Netherlands since the Dutch Republic fell in the 1800s. This House, which along with Nassau-Weilburg, Luxembourg-Nassau, and Saxe-Coburg are parts of the Great House of Nassau (which has ties with every other monarchic house in Europe, and some outside it) but it eventually fell to the onslaught of Parliamentarianism in the 1850s, and the country's modern system was born.

The Head-of-state is the King of Netherlands, while the Head-of-government is the Prime Minister, who the people elect democratically. The States General of the Netherlands (Dutch: Staten-Generaal) is the bicameral legislature of the Netherlands consisting of the Senate (Eerste Kamer) and the House of Representatives (Tweede Kamer). Both chambers meet at the Binnenhof in The Hague. Any Law that passes the Staten-generaal needs to be signed by the King, who has the right to refuse so.

The Armed Forces of the Netherlands is the country's professional military force. It is small-sized, and generally enjoys the greater armies of NATO's willingness to defend her.

Netherlands has remained a popular immigration and tourism hub, due to its unique status as the country below the sea, as well as the full legalization of all drugs in their country.

The United Empire of Arabia (Arabic: امبراطورية عربية موحدة; ambratwryt earabiat muahada), more commonly Arabic Empire, Arab League, League of Arabic Nations, or Commonwealth of Arabia, is a gargantuan-sized nation in the Middle-East and Africa.

It is a member of the NATO, the WA, the Middle Eastern Regional Gathering, the WTO, and the Group of Twenty.

The Arab World is an area stretching from the Atlantic Ocean in the west to the Arabian Sea in the east, and from the Mediterranean Sea in the north to the Horn of Africa and the Indian Ocean in the southeast. The contemporary Arab world has a combined population of around 450 million inhabitants, over half of whom are under 25 years of age.

The Arab League (or the Arabian Empire) was formed after the revolutions in Syria and Iran. Threatened by the danger a non-Islamic Iran, supported by a superpower, could bring, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Lebanon, and UAE brought up the idea of unifying the Arab League, and it was done so in the 23rd of April 2018, with the King of Arabia as their monarch.

The Arab League is a parliamentarian monarchy. The Arab Parliament, with members from the 22 member-states of the League, form the legislature, with the Constitution being a modified version of the ancient Charter of Medina (essentially, the very first Arabic Set of Laws) and the Sharia as a whole. The Monarch has the right to refuse signing a law if it is not Islamic, or if he disagrees with it.

The Armed Forces of the Arab League is the country's professional military force. It is giant-sized, and fairly decent and improving in terms of equipment and training. They make no claims of not building nuclear weapons, and can be considered a Nuclear power, but their arsenal is nowhere as big as most of the world's at best having 5-10 ICBMs as of now.

The Arab League is a tourist hub, mostly by other Muslims from around the world, and also extremely rich due to the unbelievably high number of mines and energy sites that exist in it.

The Parliament of Italy, a bicameral body of legislation divided into the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies, is in charge of legislation, though in the end the King has the right to dissolve the parliament, refuse to sign a law, and make laws by himself.

It is a popular destination for tourists. Places to visit are wide in selection, and its cities hold great historical monuments, from the Roman Empire's relics in Rome to the Treasures of Reneissance in Florence, Venice, or Pisa. The United States of Africa, more commonly African Union, is a gargantuan-sized nation in Africa.

It is a member of the Non-Aligned Pact, the WA, and the WTO.

The United States of Africa was formed in the Southern Africa after the Apartheid Regime in South Africa fell, and has since been trying to take in more of the African nations. As of 2018, the United States of Africa is home to the majority of the African Nations, with the only exceptions being the territories under control of Spain, France, the Arab League, and Italy.

Africa is a parliamentarian Republic. The Gathering, forms the legislature, with the Constitution being a text highly based on the Charter of Human Rights by the WA.

The Armed Forces of Africa is the country's professional military force. It is giant-sized, but poor in terms of equipment and training. They make no claims of not building nuclear weapons, and can be considered a Nuclear power, but their arsenal is nowhere as big as most of the world's at best having 5-10 ICBMs as of now.

The United States of Africa has little to no visitors, and is seen as extremely unpopular, especially due to the fall of Apartheid, which most of the West supported, at that time. Still, it has the savannas, the safaris, and the beautiful coasts that have their own fans.

The South American Confederacy (Spanish: confederación de América del Sur) , officially the Confederation of South American Nation-states (Spanish: Confederación de Estados-Nación Sudamericanos), is a gargantuan-sized Confederation of Nation-states in South America Unofficially speaking, King Rodrigo IV is also a member of the Monarchist Defense Pact.

It is a member the Non-Aligned Pact, the WA, and the WTO.

The Confederation was formed a few months after the Cold War ended. With Marxism-Leninism less popular in the south America than in most other regions, the South Americans had seen the real face of NATO's interventionism, and so, immediately after Pinochet was deposed in Chile, the nation states of Chile, Brazil, Argentine, Venezuela, and Peru officially formed the confederation.

The Confederation is divided into four sovereign territories: the Kingdom of Brazil, the Kingdom of Peru, the Republic of La Plata, and the Republic of Columbia. Each of these four territories have their own political independence, but officially remain as member-nations of the Confederacy, with the leadership decided every ten years through a choice between the leader of either of the four nations. The Confederacy does not have an official legislation, since the four member-states have their own independent legislations.

The Armed Forces of the Confederation is its professional military force. It is giant-sized, and medium in terms of equipment and training. They make no claims of building nuclear weapons, and cannot be considered a Nuclear power, and they (along with Mexico) remain the only recognized countries that have officially made a deal with Libertalia.

It is a member of the WA, WTO, G20, the Military-Economic Axis of Asia, and the Non-aligned Pact.

It is a Federal Parliamentary Democracy. The Head of State is the federally elected President (currently Ram Nath Kovind) and its Head of Government is Prime Minister Mamnoon Hussain, who also heads the Parliament of India, its legislature. The Parliament of India is currently a unicameral parliament, after constitutional reforms abolished the House of Lords and the House of Peoples in 1993. Members of this parliament are elected, and each state is represented proportionally based on population.

India is famous for their spice-filled foods, ranging from curries to tandoori chicken. They also have a large film industry, second to that of America's Hollywood, colloquially referred to as Bollywood. India also has a magnificent untouched nature, abundant wildlife, and ancient monuments such as the famed Taj Mahal. India's traditional rural poor contrasts with the wealthy urban social classes.

India's military, called the National Defence Forces of India, is rather powerful, despite being reduced to an almost purely defensive role. They are the 5th largest in terms of personnel. Despite their technology being rather outdated, it is made up for by the Indian foot soldier's spirit, courage, and good usage of terrain.

  15. Mexico

    Information

    - Capital: Mexico City
    - Population: 123,675,325
    - Government Type: Parliamentarian Constitutional Monarchy
    - Currency: Mexican Dollar

    - Head of Government: President Benito Otieza Pavón

The Empire of Mexico (Imperio Mexicano), commonly called Mexico, is a fellow country in Central America.
It is a member of the WA, G20, the Non-Aligned Pact, the WA, the Monarchist Defense Pact, and the WTO.

It is a Constitutional Monarchy. The Head of State is King Maximilian IV of the house of Juarez while its Head of Government is President Benito Otieza Pavón, who also is elected by, and is forced to obey, the Congress, its legislature. The Congress of Mexico is bicameral, with the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies being the two houses. Members of the Senate are elected, but the King appoints the members of the Chamber of Deputies, which are also called "Order of the Devout", a knightly order and perhaps one of the only left.

Mexico has a frankly underwhelming military, compared to its neighbors. Its Land force is satisfactory, but doesn't hold a candle to the far more powerful ones of the US and the SAC, while its Airforce and its Navy are non-existent. In fact, Mexico is the only country that has an official deal with the pirate republic of Libertalia, giving them full right to their coasts in exchange for security and defense, something that Libertalia hasn't failed at yet.

The Pirate Republic of New Libertalia, commonly called Libertalia or New Libertalia, is an unrecognized country that takes most of the Caribbeans.

It is a Pirate's Republic, an Anarchic community of independent islands. There is no official ruler, as each of the cities (or, in the situations where the cities are too large, districts) is self-governed by direct democracy. There is no official set of laws, but each city has a set of guidelines, officially named "Code of Conduct", which can be found in the city hall (or equivalent) of each city, signed by a majority of the population (who voted on it after agreeing to it.)

To the International authorities, The Libertalia's "Governor", who is voted every two years, is the mouthpiece. The Governor of Libertalia has no authority in the nation, however, apart from diplomatic missions when another country wants to open talks. The Legislature, or what passes as one, is the Moot, which does not, in reality, exist. The Moot is actually every single citizen of Libertalia, as no legislation in Libertalia is indirect.

Libertalia is not officially recognized by any of the members of the WA, and is barely tolerated, and only because it is too much of a threat, and too close, for any of the world-powers to deal with, something the Pirates do not deign not to enjoy and flaunt.

Due to this unpopularity, Libertalia is forced to enjoy a large, over-encompassing military. Each if the cities has its own fleet, spanning from 10 vessels to 173 (the largest, belonging to the Fleet of Nassau), which is in charge of protecting their coasts, and in times of need, 'hunting prey'. The Pirate Fleets have yet to be defeated in any conflict they've been a part of, which is partly why they're a source of terror for most member-states of the WA.

The Monarchist Defense Pact (abbreviated MDP) is a non-binding organization made by the monarchist countries in the Prime-world. Originally built after the dissolution of the Soviet Union, The MDP's main goal is to ensure that the now-republican released states can return to their previous monarchist form. Officially founded in a joint effort by Austria, Britain, and Netherlands, this movement only grew to hold the majority of the world's monarchies, and in its current form also funds, supports, and backs movements in republican countries that wish to return to a monarchist state. The Non-head of state members of this Pact include Reza of Iran, Georg Friedrich of Germany,, and Louis XX of France.

Alternate Timeline

Another Home-world, named HW-12037 (nicknamed Grov-world) is one where Pilarcraft fell in a short and bloody civil war, one that led to the foundation of Imperial pilarcraft, a heavily militaristic, nationalistic, anti-Abrahamist, and extremely ruthless Imperial State that began a long and bloody campaign, eventually slaughtering almost a quarter of the World's Population (every single Abrahamist that would not stop in their belief), before setting about their very own Imperial Pilarcraft.
