1988 AD
-Premier Romanov of Petrokovia announces a Zero-Tolerance Policy regarding relations with capitalist nations, beginning a period of cooled relations between Petrokovia and Roelandia, Exaequatio, and other social-democracies who were, until this point, considered friendly or allies to Petrokovia

1994 AD
-The People's Democratic Republic of Qarena secedes, reforming and attempting to establish its own socialist state. The Qareni Arab Republic responds by sending forces to occupy South Qarena.
-After several months of fighting, PDR Qarena falls, and the former government and much of its supporters go underground. North Qarena takes complete control as the Qareni Arab Republic, and rules very strictly over the land in an attempt to suppress any uprising.

1995 AD
-After requesting aid from the USSP, the South Qarena Revolutionary Committee (now in hiding) is sent aid in the form of equipment and Petrokovian combat instructors. Petrokovia trains the rebels for many years.

1998 AD
-The International Space Station is launched, initially created solely by Petrokovia, Exaequatio, and Roelandia (later sections would be added by others)
-Military conscription is reinstated in Petrokovia

-A coup attempt in Qarena by the South Qarena Revolutionary committee is suppressed by the North Qareni government; Images of the harsh conflict were spread across Qarena by the SYRC as propaganda, garnering sympathy for the rebels among much of the populace. Small skirmishes continue, with support gradually shifting pro-socialist in Qarena.

2007 AD
-Leonardo Caprice becomes chancellor of Roelandia

2011 AD
-Qareni Rebellion and the establishment of the Qareni Socialist Republic; The Revolutionary Committee strikes a decisive victory in Aden, retaking South Qarena's old capital. With much support, the YSR begins to push North.
-The Qareni Socialist Republic gains control over all of Qarena.
-The King of the Kreani Empire, fearing socialism on the Kreani border, threatens the YSR; Qarena refuses to capitulate to the Kreani Empire's demand of returning to the old Qareni government.
-The Qareni-Kreani War begins; The Kreani Empire invades the Qareni Socialist Republic. Petrokovia sends troops and other forms of aid to Qarena in order to combat the Kreani Empire, while Usonia sends troops to aid the Kreani Empire

2012 AD
-Detection Protocol Order #127 is signed into effect in Petrokovia
-Petrokovian national budget is drastically raised, and Petrokovia begins borrowing funds from Exaequatio in order to sustain its bloated budget
-The TuRKEBS satellite is launched by Petrokovia, with the first tests proving very successful
-Leonardo Caprice is reelected in Roelandia. His first term saw a lot of reforms, such as the introduction of the universal basic income.

2013 AD
-Drastic military budget and number increases begin in Petrokovia; The Petrokovian military by the end of Romanov's Premiership numbers 21 million active and reserve troops, with a vast naval force (mainly composed of previously decommissioned and refurbished ships); It is unknown why Romanov had the military bolstered to such an extent

2014 AD
-The Office of Information Staff officially adopts "Contrishta" as an alternate name, and begins using it on official documents
-Due to Romanov's enormous budgeting and military numbers, the Contrishta ad NKVD begin covert investigations on him. As several citizens (including to-be Premier Petit) begin calling for lower budgets, feasible military numbers, the end of borrowing funding from the Exaequation National Bank, and begin pointing out his hawkishness, Romanov decides to step down from office
-Daniel Petit becomes Premier of Petrokovia, becoming the youngest leader in Petrokovian history (elected at age 18); Much of the voting base for the 2014 election were young adults, an odd shift from Petrokovia's predominately aging voter base
-Premier Petit ends Petrokovia's Zero-Tolerance Policy, reestablishing friendly relations with Roelandia and Exaequatio
-Petrokovian military numbers and budget are lowered instantly, to a more manageable level; Budget is still considerably inflated due to extra funding needed for shifts in management style and organization overhaul
-In Petrokovia, the Soveshchaniye and Premier Petit begin working on reforms across various government assets to increase efficiency to lower the budget
-In Petrokovia, the exportation of natural gas and oil is banned

-Great Frost of 2015 hits Petrokovia; Most of Northern and Central Petrokovia is frozen over in a huge ice storm and blizzard, slowing national production to a crawl for a month as a national emergency is declared

-The use of lethal chemical or biological agents is banned by Petrokovia, in regards to any internal organization, or by the military both domestically and abroad
-2nd Great Economic Boom in Petrokovia sees another rise in the USSP's economy, as it recovers from the effects of the Great Frost of 2015; This is brought about by several factors

-In Petrokovia, Corporal Punishment of minors is made illegal (considered as child abuse), Forced Labor camps are officially banned, and the Death Penalty is banned

-Constitutional amendment on the ability for Petrokovia to declare war is passed, limiting Petrokovian engagements to defensive warfare only-This does not force Petrokovia out of the Qareni-Kreani War

2017 AD
-Federal Budget Launderers' case is resolved in the Supreme Court; All of their assets are seized by the State as payment, and they are sentenced to 45 years in prison
-Investigation starts into possible involvement by Premier Romanov with the Federal Budget Launderers
-Petit's economic plan, tax changes, and budget adjustments go into work, and Petrokovia begins to pay off its foreign debt
-Premier Petit of Petrokovia passes the Bill on Civilian Motor Vehicle Sales, which states that Petrokovia will transition to all electric cars by the year 2025, and that after 2025, the sale or use of non-electric road vehicles by any person or group within Petrokovia (not including military vehicles, heavy transports, or heavy duty trucks or tractors specifically for work, towing, or large load/heavy load transport) will be banned
-Military Restructuring Program goes into effect. Old military equipment is sold off in order to aid in paying Petrokovia's debt, and conscription rules are made more lax

-A cargo vessel belonging to shipping conglomerate C Corp is sunk in the Pacific Ocean by an advanced stealth destroyer created by Inprobus; No trace of the destroyer was found, leaving the world unaware of its presence, and the sinking of the cargo ship left a mystery
-A Faustinian ship taking munitions to the Nickel Empire is sunk int he Pacific by the same destroyer, which again leaves no trace of its existence. Later that day, the Petrokovian coast guard and merchant marines begin a search for evidence.
