The Grey Wardens - Rocking You Like a Hurricane

LinkGREY WARDENS: ROCKING YOU LIKE A HURRICANE

COMING TO A CD STORE NEAR YOU ON SEPTEMBER 17TH, 2017

You heard it here first, folks. The full-fledged operational might of the Grey Wardens this update is going to be two-pronged, divided into separate parts. This is due to the magnificent display of defending's premier shock infantry, who deployed with under twelve hours' notice this major to help conduct one of the most impressive and sizeable liberations of the year. But more on that later. We'd first like to give you an overview of the situation as it happened.

To put it short, tonight we gave Sabaton some kickass songwriting material. Anything they didn't cover in Shiroyama, they sure as hell can get from tonight's major. It all started with a contingent from a few regions, led mostly by Europeia and the North Pacific, strolling into America's the Wardens' backyard. And by our backyard, we mean everywhere. That's the whole defender ethos.

It seems that the independent and raider regions involved in the occupation of Japan were unaware of the need to go through the formal, legal process for being approved for occupation. Every step of the way, from the Bureau of Arbitrary Raiding, to the Department of Defending, including the special waivers required from the Founderless Raid Agency, was completely ignored. With this egregious violation of the standards of bureaucracy seriously unnerving the leadership of the Wardens, our crack team of Germans skilled bureaucrats took it upon themselves to process the legal right to invade Japan. The conclusion was simple:

With this in mind, the collective fenda leadership quickly took it upon themselves to mobilize as many forces as possible, and a fantastic legion was assembled to make an incursion into the land of the weebs. It was a tough time conditioning our soldiers for battle. First was the anime immunity training, because it was observed how easy it is to be led astray from Japanese culture by trashy cartoons about the average teenage gaijin's wet dream. Second was the oral re-education. It was important that our soldiers not mix up the most resented enemy, the Darkspawn, with the friendly folks occupying Japan whom we were about to rush and annihilate in the tens with no mercy. Nicknames were tried. Battle cries were tested. The conclusion eventually came that it was better to charge totally silently, as not to offend anyone who wouldn't take kindly to mislabelling.

Flash forward to Saturday major. The combined forces of the Japanese occupation stand tall, looking out over their domain. Then, with no prior knowledge, a whistling sound came from the sky. The raiders looked up in horror, and then Roavin threatened to emasculate me if I made an atomic bomb joke. So the whistling stopped, and instead the occupiers looked upon their harbor, only to be caught completely off guard, by a magnificent sight.

With huge boats.

With guns.

Gunboats.

"Open the region. Stop having it be closed."

Overall, a total of 51 defenders charged in through the gates of Japan, both as jumpers and as sleepers. With no hard feelings towards the lovely folks in Europeia, the North Pacific, Osiris, the West Pacific, United Kingdom, the East Pacific, Kantrias... Jesus, on a side note, you'd expect more of a fight from so many big names. But with respect to them for their magnificent piling, we appreciate the opportunity they've given us tonight to brag about our liberation effort, which was slightly more magnificent than their piling by a margin of something like five endorsements.

LIBERATIONS: 1

No, we didn't bother to link the nations. You know who they are. Anyways, onto the dessert.

LILY DON'T SURF

A contingent of mobile Warden airborne units, roaving the skies.

"Get some! Get some! Get some, get some! Yeah, YEAH! C'mon, come on! Get some!"

It was only later did I learn that you shouldn't yell that kind of thing during radio silence.

Fun fact, there weren't even as many people chasing afterwards as there are helicopters in the gif above. But did that stop our noble forces from having a good time? Of course not.
