Rebel fleet WIP
The original rebel fleet of the rebellion against the 'empire' then, the fleet was not equipped with numbers, but brought in an advantage in quality and experience. The ships came mainly from sympathetic shipyards, although some were acquired through other means. Although the fleet was small the fleet was still capable of taking on a section of the imperial fleet, with their heavy redundant shielding and hardened crew they were a pain to the imperial navy for a long time.Capital Ships
"Designed as a battle cruiser, these ships are deadly to even our own ships in large numbers that is. Their original company is currently unknown but traces of design of Inter Stellar Machinery ships is apparent but not enough to imply that they built this line. According to scans and wreckage teams the shields are mainly located in the mid ring of the ship, and as such it is recommended that fire be concentrated on there as simulations that have been run through the analytic droid show that the chances of success in destroying the ship is higher when the mid ring is destroyed."

Short overview: Designed by the rebels as a capital ship to combat our own star destroyers, these ships were armed lightly due to them originally being built as civilian vessels. They were designed by an unknown company, most likely one of many that filed for bankruptcy after Star Dust Technologies took over the market, along with Omni Light Technologies. They were equipped lightly with at most 200 cannons as weaponry was hard to acquire, and even harder when equipping ships with multiple cannons. The shields of it was effective with redundant generators, but it was also a weak point as the ship would be destroyed if the shield containers, the mid section, was destroyed.
"Designed as command vessels, these ships were originally designed as colonization vessels. According to our new research it has been remodeled to be a battleship and based on recon droids, is able to set up base on any planet. -Further info is unknown from this point due to chip corruption-

Short overview: Created at first as a colonization vessel, these ships were remade for the rebellion as battleships and command vessels. They still kept their special features, which was the ability to hold large amounts of equipment for bases, including land defenses and unfolding buildings for bases. They were armed lightly with light cannons, but could still hold a fight against some of our capital ships. Despite all this, their armor was not made for combat which caused them to be damaged severely with high explosive shells.
"Designed originally as support vessels and civilian craft, this ship was one of the few to be exempted from the sporting weapons law. These ships are heavily armored in exchange for weak shields, and it should be noted that all personnel unless allowed are to not touch any equipment for the solar ionization reactor. It should be noted that these ships have been relegated away from the front lines to defense duty, and as such all captains are not allowed to send them to the front lines unless requested."

Short overview: An important ship in the early days of the rebellion's lifetime, this ship used to form the main backbone of the rebel fleet until more advanced technology came into the picture. Thus, relegating it away from the front lines to operate in outer regions where imperial fleets are not as powerful as inner regions. Designed originally as a civilian cruiser, these ships were eventually re-purposed for combat. These ships were lightly armed due to their inflexible design, but were instrumental in the early days before being sent off to smaller cells for usage. Their main weakness was their exposed reactor which faced the top instead of the bottom.
