Saintland's Commentaries on the WA General Assembly's Resolutions
Saintland is not a member of the WA and regards the WA as a wicked globalist organization that promotes an immoral and Godless agenda. This document is an attempt by the King's Government to prove the wickedness of the WA.
This resolution establishes the WA as an organization to make "international law" that is binding on all nations stupid enough to join it. Yawn.
This is portrayed as a restriction on the WA's powers. Is it? If it is, is it sufficient?
"Article 1 § Every WA Member State has the right to independence and hence to exercise freely, without dictation by any other NationState, all its legal powers, including the choice of its own form of government."
"Article 2 § Every WA Member State has the right to exercise jurisdiction over its territory and over all persons and things therein, subject to the immunities recognized by international law."
"Article 3 § Every WA Member State has the duty to refrain from unrequested intervention in the internal or external economic, political, religious, and social affairs of any other NationState, subject to the immunities recognized by international law."
Does the WA intervene in the "internal or external economic, political, religious, and social affairs" of its members? Of course it does.
The provisions on war define war as a "consensual act" between 2 nations and give the WA authority to intervene if nations are invaded without their consent. What nation would consent to war? This resolution also requires WA members to avoid "fomenting civil strife in the territory of another NationState, and to prevent the organization within its territory of activities calculated to foment such civil strife," which is basically what the WA does with its ridiculous "rights" invented out of thin air. The King's Government suspects that this resolution only applies to the interactions of WA members with other WA members and does not prevent WA members from subverting non-members that refuse to submit to the WA's ridiculous views regarding the "rights" of citizens.
This resolution was repealed by Resolution #11. Saintland endorses its repeal. This resolution mandates an excessively high burden of proof in criminal cases ("beyond a reasonable doubt" instead of the normal "preponderance of evidence" standard). This resolution mandates a "jury" which leads to unpredictable outcomes and general chaos. This resolution mandates a "right" to remain silent during questioning and that use of that "right" not be used as evidence against them. It prohibits the use of "enhanced interrogation" to get evidence. It also grants convicts the "right" to appeal, needlessly prolonging criminal cases. Saintland endorses Articles 6, 8 and 9.
Saintland endorses this resolution, which prohibits child labor. Children belong in school, not the workforce. We strongly endorse C (ban on child soldiers) and D (ban on children fornicating as a job). We applaud the WA for A, which recognizes the right of each nation to set their own age of majority, although we believe the WA should have specified a minimum age of majority because this could be used as a loophole by wicked nations so overrun by greed that they force their kids to work.
This resolution set up a WA body to coordinate relief aid by NGOs for natural disasters, terror attacks and wars. It was repealed by resolution #33 and Saintland endorses its repeal because the WA is not an appropriate organization to coordinate relief aid.
Saintland does not object to this resolution, which provides standards for humanitarian cargo transportation in war zones.
Saintland could not find anything objectionable in this resolution, which sets workplace safety standards.
This resolution admits that the WA's diplomats are a bunch of "drunks, stoners, weirdos, military fruitcakes, sex addicts, rejects, dear little kiddies... and militant machistas" It also creates a headquarters for this bunch of degenerates on neutral territory ceded by some God-forsaken WA member nation.
This resolution bans enhanced interrogation. Saintland condemns this resolution as pro-criminal and wicked.
This act grants WA members the "right" to possess city-killers. Saintland denounces this wicked resolution and calls once again for global nuclear disarmament because these weapons are an abomination and an attempt by Man to play God.
This resolution was repealed by Resolution 24. This purports to be an anti-terrorism resolution, yet hypocritically upholds the right of people to use terrorism against "rogue" regimes. Saintland endorses the repeal of this resolution.
This was a replacement for Resolution #3 that was itself repealed by Resolution 28. Saintland endorses parts 1-3 of the pre-trial rights. Saintland condemns the "right" to a lawyer, which refers to a profession in some foreign nations that needlessly complicate legal proceedings. We also endorse all of the hearing rights except for the parts related to lawyers. Still, we endorse the repeal because of important omissions such as the right to confront one's accuser.
This resolution grants nations the right to remain neutral during a war. It was repealed by Resolution 144 because it imposes undue restrictions on neutral nations.
This resolution mandates that WA members permit homosexual marriage. As homosexuality is an abomination to God, this resolution is an abomination and is condemned in the strongest possible terms by Saintland as an example of the WA's godless agenda.
This resolution establishes a "right" to fornicate and also mandates legalization of homosexuality and other perversions. Saintland condemns this resolution in the strongest possible terms as an abomination to God.
This resolution creates a WA General Fund based upon "donations" from member nations. Part 8 prohibits "unfair discriminatory" tax practices, which is condemned by Saintland as vague and for encouraging tax evaders. Saintland also condemns Part 9 for advocating "transparency" of decisions regarding budgets and taxation. We believe that subjects should Render unto Caesar that which is Caesar's.
This resolution provides for rights for POWs. Saintland condemns the ban on enhanced interrogation of POWs. We condemn the ban on use of POWs for furthering the war effort and on their use for manual labor. We also condemn the ban on forced labor for internees. We condemn the idea that POWs have the "right" to contact family and friends in their homeland and we condemn the requirement that they be given uniforms similar to their military uniforms. We condemn the ban on humiliating POWs. Saintland condemns this resolution for granting too many "rights" to POWs.
This resolution was repealed by resolution 220. Saintland condemns this resolution because it defines "physical abuse" vaguely enough that it could be implied to ban reasonable discipline. We agree that sexual abuse of children is wicked and wish to eradicate that abomination, but discipline is not child abuse. We endorse its repeal.
Saintland strongly endorses this resolution, which prohibits piracy. We should clarify that this is not a ban on the so-called "piracy" of works allegedly "copyrighted" by foreign nations. This is a ban on the criminals on the high seas that steal trade and kidnap sailors. Saintland will prosecute and hang any pirates discovered to be in the Kingdom.
This resolution sets a minimum wage at a ridiculously low level. Saintland condemns this resolution for defining a 30 hour work week as full time. Saintland further condemns this resolution for defining the "Basic Poverty Line" based upon the assumption that wives are part of the workforce and the "Dependent Poverty Line" based upon the assumption of a single parent household. These are wicked and Godless assumptions that reveal the immoral agenda of the WA.
Saintland endorses this resolution providing for diplomatic immunity and prohibiting nations from sending diplomats for the purpose of committing crimes.
Saintland condemns this resolution, which bans slavery. The Bible sanctions slavery and admonishes slaves to obey their masters. While slavery is not practiced in the Kingdom, this resolution is an abomination to God and we urge the WA to repeal it.
This resolution is another purported "anti-terrorism" resolution designed to replace resolution #12. Saintland condemns this resolution for its selective definition of terrorism, which permits terrorism against so-called "rogue" nations.
This resolution was repealed by Resolution 45. This resolution permitted the WA to regulate international trade. Saintland condemns this attack on the national sovereignty of WA member nations, even though they brought it upon themselves by joining the WA.
This resolution grants a "right" to engage in subversive assemblies rebelling against the rightful government. Saintland condemns this resolution because rebellion against rightful government is rebellion against God.
Saintland endorses this resolution, which grants rights to medical patients.
This resolution grants a "right" to subversive and/or blasphemous speech. Saintland condemns this resolution as an abomination and yet another example of the WA's wickedness.
This resolution establishes the World Health Authority, which promotes information related to health. It also encourages nations to invest in health. Saintland strongly endorses this resolution.
This resolution was repealed by Resolution 36. This resolution created the World Assembly Veteran Assistance Offices, which provided assistance to military veterans. Saintland endorses the repeal of this resolution because it required all WA members to finance assistance to foreign veterans, including veterans that had fought against those nations in wars.
This resolution sets up the International Transport Safety Committee and requires all WA members to accept commerce from ITSC members. Saintland condemns this resolution for imposing free trade on nations against their wishes.
This resolution is a charter of so-called "Civil Rights" that imposes many restrictions upon nations. Section a of Article 1 declares all individuals "equal" under the law and entitled to so-called "equal protection," which basically prohibits WA nations from being monarchies. Section b of Article 1 is a truism. Section C prohibits "discrimination" based on sex, race, ethnicity, nationality, skin color, language, economic or cultural background, physical or mental "disability" or condition, religion or belief system, "sexual orientation" or "sexual identity", or any other "arbitrarily assigned and reductive categorization" that can be used for discrimination. It makes an exception for "compelling practical purposes," with an example given of hiring female-only staff(!) to work at a "shelter" for wives who ran away because they've been disciplined by their husbands. Section d of Article 1 enjoins WA members to counteract "ignorance" and "prejudice" and to create or support "education" programs in "ethnic, racial and cultural diversity." Section e requires emergency legal measures and martial law to follow the provisions of this resolution. Article 2, section a mandates that "unfair and unreasonable discrimation" on any of the grounds for Article 1, section c be prohibited in private employment, housing, education, employment benefits, compensation and access to services provided to the general public. Article 2, section b prohibits "unprovoked violence against" or "intimidation" of any person in a group protected in Article 1, section c. Article 2, section c requires nations to actively work toward eliminating crimes supposedly based upon "cultural or societal differences." Article 2, section d prevents this article from being construed to eliminate stronger or additional "protections" for these groups. This resolution is condemned in the strongest possible terms by Saintland because it mandates so-called "equality" between men and women, total religious anarchy and normalization of homosexuality and of those confused people that think they are a member of the opposite sex. This resolution is purely Satanic and Saintland calls upon the WA to repeal it immediately.
This is a 3rd WA resolution related to "fair" trials and is also condemned by Saintland. This resolution implies that defendants have "lawyers," which is a profession that make legal proceedings unnecessarily complicated. This resolution recommends the use of juries, which allow commoners to pervert justice. The most offensive provision of this resolution is the ban on "self-incrimination" of the accused, the enforcement of which permits criminals to walk free. Saintland condemns this resolution, but it is an improvement on the WA's previous resolutions in this area.
This resolution bans genocide. That would seem non-controversial, but this resolution includes "sexual orientation," which would imply that programs that attempt to convert homosexuals into normal people are "genocide," so this resolution is an abomination and is condemned by Saintland.
This wicked resolution grants the "right" to get divorced. This resolution not only mandates that every WA nation legalize divorce, but it actually mandates no-fault divorce, which is a wicked variety in which wives can abandon their husbands because they get "bored" and still force their hapless "former" husband to continue to support them. The Church teaches that divorce is always a sin and that remarriage after divorce is adultery. Saintland condemns this wicked resolution in the strongest possible terms as an abomination to God.
This resolution is an anti-landmine resolution. Saintland endorses this resolution because landmines are a wicked weapon that is designed to commit mass murder of civilians.
This resolution seeks to expand access to life-saving drugs. Saintland endorses most of it because every nation should have access to life-saving drugs. However, Saintland condemns the WA for "compensating" those wicked monopolists that claim a "patent" that gives them the monopoly over a specific drug. Because it is a mortal sin to monopolize life-saving drugs, Saintland condemns this resolution for "compensating" the monopolists of life-saving drugs.
This resolution was repealed by Resolution 152. Saintland condemns the repeal of this resolution because it set up a vital environmental research body.
This resolution protects the right to "labor unions," which are an equivalent of guilds in many foreign nations. Saintland condemns this resolution because it grants unions the "right" to strike (refuse to work) and forbids "discrimination" against non-members of these "unions." This act also grants workers the "right" to create duplicate "unions" that represent workers in the same industry.
This resolution purports to reduce abortions. Abortion, as you probably already know, is a euphemism for the murder of an unborn child. It is a truly despicable act that is banned in all decent nations. This resolution actually does nothing to prohibit abortion. Instead, it is really about promoting the use of birth control, which is the name for a number of methods and devices to "prevent" pregnancy while engaging in the act that causes pregnancy. Birth control is condemned as sinful by the Church of Saintland because the purpose of the reproductive act is reproduction, so engaging in it for the purpose of base pleasure is a sin and a perversion (this is also the reason why homosexuality is a sin). This resolution also promotes "abstinence education," which causes children to start thinking about the reproductive act, aiding Satan in his efforts to tempt them into sin. It also advocates programs to prevent rape and incest and adoption programs, which Saintland endorses. However, this resolution also encourages WA members to financially support pregnant women, which basically means financing unwed mothers and encouraging them to have more illegitimate children. Saintland condemns this resolution as an abomination to God because it promotes perversion and sin under the guise of preventing abortion.
UPDATE: This resolution was repealed by Resolution 250. Saintland endorses the repeal, despite the inclusion of a regrettable line hoping for future legislation that would establish a "universal right to choose," which is a euphemism for a "universal right" to murder the unborn.
This resolution was repealed by Resolution 55. This resolution grants people the right to "emigrate" from their nation to another. This resolution was repealed because it is basically meaningless, as it grants nations a number of loopholes to prevent anybody from emigrating. Saintland endorses the repeal because the spirit of this resolution was bad, but does not endorse the reason for its repeal.
This resolution was repealed by Resolution 163. It imposed restrictions on how much territory a nation can claim on the sea. Saintland condemns this resolution as an attack on Saintland's territorial integrity and endorses its repeal.
This resolution promotes "peer-reviewed science" in schools that are government funded. While this resolution could be much worse, it still mandates the teaching of Evolutionism in schools, which is a sin because that unproven theory denies the Church teaching that God created the World in 6 days. Saintland condemns this resolution because Evolution is false and does not belong in schools.
UPDATE: This resolution has been repealed by Resolution 260. Saintland endorses the repeal, with reservations regarding the lack of any criticism of the WA's failure to mandate the teaching of Creation Science in schools.
This resolution was repealed by Resolution 216. This resolution mandated that doctors be allowed to engage in "stem cell" research, which uses cells from murdered unborn babies. While it was repealed in part because the resolution violated the "intellectual property" of the wicked researchers, Saintland still endorses the repeal because stem cell research is immoral and should be banned in all nations, as it is in Saintland.
This resolution is related to salvaging of vessels sunk at sea. It is condemned by Saintland because it requires that the salvor give it back to the nation that owned the ship, if they want it back.
This was a replacement for the repealed Resolution #5. Saintland condemns this resolution because the WA is not an appropriate body to coordinate humanitarian aid.
This resolution creates the International Trade Administration to push a "free" trade agenda and the International Food Welfare Organization to promote the use of more efficient farming techniques. While Saintland wants to end world hunger, we denounce the WA for promoting a "free" trade agenda under the guise of fighting hunger.
This resolution creates the Epidemic and Pandemic Alert and Response Center to fight epidemics. Saintland endorses this resolution.
This resolution mandates that all WA members legalize doctor-assisted suicide. The Church of Saintland teaches that suicide is the unforgivable sin. Even worse, this resolution mandates the legalization of doctors murdering their patients. Saintland condemns this resolution in the strongest possible terms as an abomination.
UPDATE: This resolution has been repealed by Resolution 277. Saintland endorses this repeal, but condemns the WA for claiming that patients seeking doctor-assisted suicide need "greater protections" than those provided by the now-repealed resolution. As the Church of Saintland teaches, they need to repent of their wicked desire to end their lives. Only God has the right to determine when it is your time to go.
This resolution was repealed by Resolution 210. It was intended to protect currencies because they are supposedly part of a nation's cultural heritage. Saintland endorses the repeal of this resolution because it was ridiculous and completely pointless and ineffective. Resolutions like this show why the WA is widely regarded as a laughingstock in sane nations.
This is a replacement for the repealed Resolution #46. This resolution is designed to protect so-called "refugees," which means that it protects many people who are legitimately persecuted, but it could also be implied to protect criminals that flee the Kingdom of Saintland instead of facing their just punishment for their wickedness. Saintland calls upon the WA to prevent nations from declaring wicked sinners to be refugees and protecting them against from facing their just reward in Godly nations like the Kingdom of Saintland.
This resolution was repealed by Resolution 192. It created a "right" to privacy. Saintland endorses the repeal of this resolution because the "right" of privacy is a protection for evil-doers that permits them to avoid their just punishment.
This resolution was repealed by Resolution 77. It created a "right" to education. Saintland endorses the repeal of this resolution because it is overly broad and can be interpreted to permit a "right" to learn any subject, including dangerous ones that should not be taught.
This resolution creates the Nuclear Disaster Response Organization to deal with nuclear disasters. Saintland endorses this resolution because it is sadly necessary due to the WA's stubborn refusal to ban city-killers and nuclear power.
This resolution was repealed by Resolution 185. Saintland endorses the repeal of this resolution because it mandated that WA members adopt "copyright" laws. Saintland condemns copyright because it is immoral to grant anybody a monopoly in ideas.
This resolution was repealed by Resolution 189. This resolution grants "protections" to detainees and convicts. Saintland endorses the part relating to rights for detainees. Saintland endorses a, b, d and g of the convict part. Saintland condemns part e of the convict part because it can be interpreted to prohibit physical discipline of convicts. Saintland condemns part c for granting visitation rights to all convicts and part f for giving all convicts the right to exercise. Saintland believes that nations should have discretion to determine what privileges specific prisoners should get. Saintland endorses the repeal of this resolution.
This resolution protects against pollution in outer space. Saintland endorses this resolution because space should not be polluted.
UPDATE: This resolution has been repealed by Resolution 271. Saintland condemns this repeal and condemns the desire of the WA to see space polluted.
This resolution protects food and drug safety and establishes a World Assembly Food and Drug Regulatory Agency. Saintland endorses this resolution because food and drugs should be safe.
This resolution was repealed by Resolution 153. This resolution was intended to ban biological weapons. Saintland endorses a global ban on biological weapons for all WA and non-WA nations because these weapons are immoral by their very nature. Sadly, this resolution was poorly written and contained loopholes, so Saintland is fine with it being repealed, provided that it is replaced with a better resolution.
This resolution establishes a WA Endangered Species Committee to protect endangered species. Saintland endorses this resolution because it does not protect parasitic species or infectious species.
This resolution was repealed by Resolution 184. It protected the "right" to habeas corpus, which restricts how long a criminal can be held before being charged. Saintland endorses the repeal of this resolution because it is pro-criminal.
This resolution poses as a resolution to protect the autonomy of WA members over their economies. Saintland condemns this resolution because it requires compensation for nationalized property.
This resolution was repealed by Resolution #71, which has to be a record for fastest repeal of a WA resolution ever. It was designed to protect historic landmarks. Saintland endorses the repeal because it is poorly written and the WA shouldn't be protecting historic landmarks anyway.
This resolution is designed to prevent cartels on the international market. Saintland condemns this resolution because the WA shouldn't be involved in regulating international trade.
UPDATE: This resolution was repealed by Resolution 252. Saintland endorses this repeal.
This resolution is a replacement for the repealed Resolution #69. This resolution is designed to protect "cultural heritage sites," which it defines very broadly. It bans the destruction, blocking or "looting" of such sites during times of war. It establishes a committee to help oversee these sites and encourages WA members to make these sites open to the public. Saintland condemns this resolution because it can easily be interpreted to "protect" pagan temples from being renovated into Churches of God. The WA shouldn't be protecting "cultural heritage sites" anyway.
UPDATE: This Resolution was repealed by Resolution 275. Saintland endorses the repeal, even though the WA's reasoning was somewhat suspect. Besides, protecting cultural heritage isn't the responsibility of the WA to begin with.
This resolution creates the International Postal Union to coordinate international postal deliveries. This is a function that the WA would be doing, were it a worthy international organization. However, this resolution requires "freedom of transit" between members of the IPU. This could easily be used to mail contraband such as guns or pornography internationally. Saintland condemns this resolution as pro-criminal and urges the WA to repeal it and replace it with a better resolution that allows member nations to keep contraband out of their nations.
This resolution was repealed by Resolution #181. It was defined to permit medical supplies through a blockade. Saintland endorses the repeal of this resolution because it was so broad that it effectively permitted nations to evade blockades by putting medical supplies and personnel on a military vessel.
This resolution sets up the WA as the regulator of a number of radio frequencies and establishes the International Radiocommunications Commission to assign the radio spectrum. It even forbids the Commission from adopting any content standards. This resolution is condemned by Saintland because the WA has no business assigning the radio spectrum. That function belongs to national governments.
UPDATE: This resolution was repealed by Resolution #280. Saintland endorses its repeal because the WA has no business regulating the radio spectrum.
This resolution standardizes passports and establishes the Global Emigration, Security, Travel and Passport Organization (GESTAPO). Saintland endorses this resolution as standardized passports from WA nations make it easier for our officials to read their passports and it does not contain anything that we consider objectionable.
This resolution establishes a Universal Library Coalition. Saintland applauds this and endorses the provision allowing member nations to use content filters. However, Saintland condemns the WA for not allowing works that are monopolized under "copyright" to be included without the permission of the greedy monopolist. Saintland advises the WA to repeal this resolution and replace it with a better resolution that creates a Universal Library that ignores copyright monopolists and their facetious claims.
This resolution prohibits Ex Post Facto laws. An "Ex Post Facto" law is a law designed to address a loophole in the law that had been exploited by a criminal or a law designed to increase the punishment for a crime. Saintland condemns this resolution as pro-criminal for allowing criminals to get away with their crimes on technicalities.
This is a replacement for Resolution 59. This resolution declares that every citizen has the right to a basic education, which is defined in terms that Saintland deems appropriate. It also requires that WA members provide an education to their disabled citizens, which Saintland endorses, as disabled people are also created by God. It also provides funding from the WA General Accounting Office to any nation, which can be interpreted to include non-members to provide basic education in their nations, if the nation is unable to afford basic education for its citizens. Saintland endorses this resolution.
This resolution was repealed by Resolution #85. It was a resolution that established something called the Global Organization for Public Safety (GOPS), which was an international body to manage disaster preparedness. Saintland endorses the repeal of this resolution because the WA has no business being involved in disaster preparedness.
This resolution promotes universal standards for clinical trials. It also establishes a Clinical Excellence Commission to oversee such trials. Saintland endorses this resolution.
This resolution establishes the International Transport Safety Committee to set safety standards for international commercial vehicles. Although this resolution does prohibit setting higher standards than ITSC standards, that only applies if the standards are different for foreign vehicles than those of domestic vehicles. Saintland endorses this resolution.
Saintland condemns this resolution because it can be interpreted as requiring governments to reveal which prison criminals are located in. While Saintland does not practice "forced disappearance," this resolution is still overly vague and that is enough reason to advocate that it be repealed.
This resolution establishes the Museums of Musical Heritage, an international association of music museums that are supposed to preserve musical heritage. Saintland condemns this resolution because the WA has no business preserving music, much of which is unfit to be preserved.
This resolution sets up the WA Scientific Programme (WASP) and creates an agency called the International Meteorological Organization (IMO) under WASP to collect weather information and provide it to nations at a reasonable charge. Saintland strongly endorses this resolution and applauds the WA for opening up the IMO's services to non-members.
This resolution sets up the International Measurements Institute (IMI) to create a standardized international system of measurement. Because this resolution does not interfere with the ability of any nation to use their own system of measurement, Saintland endorses this resolution.
This resolution is intended to prevent "discrimination" between different types of content on the Internet. Although it can be read in such a vague manner as to be virtually meaningless, its intent is pernicious. This resolution is intended to maintain an "open" Internet, including open access to numerous web sites that promote wickedness. Saintland condemns this resolution in the strongest possible terms and calls upon the WA to repeal it immediately.
UPDATE: This resolution has been repealed by resolution 273. Saintland endorses the repeal, but condemns the WA for calling for a replacement that would also be a wicked resolution.
This resolution purports to be a resolution to prevent drug trafficking, but in reality it is a resolution that promotes drug trafficking. This resolution prohibits nations from pressuring nations that permit the sale of mind-altering substances to change their wicked laws and also prohibits the use of the military to enforce drug laws. It has a vague provision that prohibits the use of drug policy to "breach" either "humans rights" or "international law," which is designed to mandate the legalization of mind-altering substances. It also prohibits the use of biological, chemical or biochemical means to eradicate illegal mind-altering substances. Saintland denounces this wicked pro-mind altering drug resolution in the strongest possible terms as a total abomination to God and calls upon the WA to repeal it immediately.
This resolution is one of the WA's most ridiculous resolutions. It is a resolution that prohibits helping those unfortunate souls that are confused regarding whether they are male or female. It also requires that they be permitted to mutilate themselves by undergoing a most wicked procedure. Saintland condemns this resolution in the strongest possible terms as an abomination to God and calls upon the WA to repeal it immediately.
This resolution requires the WASP to distribute and conduct scientific research. Saintland endorses this resolution, albeit with some misgivings because it does not prohibit the WASP from promoting the Theory of Evolution, a false pseudo-scientific theory.
This wicked resolution forces every WA member to recognize patents, which means a monopoly on ideas. Although this resolution does establish a Universal Patent Archive that makes it easier to liberate the ideas from the monopolists, Saintland still condemns it.
This resolution establishes the World Microcredit Foundation, an organization that helps connect predatory lenders with vulnerable poor people throughout the world. Saintland condemns this resolution because usury is a sin and Saintland condemns it in the strongest possible terms because it preys on the most vulnerable members of society.
This resolution sets standards for responsible offshore oil drilling. Saintland endorses this resolution.
This resolution was repealed by Resolution #101. It was a resolution intended to ensure that water was clean. However, the resolution permitted the World Assembly Water Purification Treatment (WAWPT) to take water from one nation and give it to another. Saintland endorses the repeal of this resolution.
This resolution promotes access to medical care. Saintland endorses this resolution.
This resolution increased standards for oil tankers in WA nations. Saintland endorses this resolution.
UPDATE: This resolution was repealed by Resolution #295. An analysis of the matter determined that the resolution was poorly written and therefore repeal was justified, provided that it is replaced with a better resolution.
This resolution sets up the International Courthouse for Multilateral Prosecution to prosecute crimes. Saintland condemns this resolution because the WA has no business running its own court system.
UPDATE: This resolution was repealed by Resolution #294. Saintland endorses this repeal because the WA has no business running its own courts.
This resolution is designed to combat cyberterrorim. Since Saintland has experienced its share of cyberterrorism from the likes of Feministvs Sanctvsterra, Saintland endorses this resolution.
UPDATE: This resolution was repealed by Resolution #278. Saintland condemns this repeal and condemns the WA for its promotion of cyberterrorism.
This resolution establishes an International Criminal Court to try criminals who commit genocide, war crimes or crimes against humanity. However, genocide is defined by this resolution as "any act intended to destroy, in whole or in part, any group of sapient beings on the basis of a shared ancestry, nationality, ethnicity, religion, race, culture, sex, gender, sexual orientation, age or age range or any other identifiable real or perceived characteristic," an absurd definition. Crimes against humanity are defined, in part as, "Torture or other cruel, degrading or inhumane treatment." This resolution can be interpreted to prohibit any acts intended to eradicate false religions, enforce traditional gender roles and provide homosexuals with the compassionate help that they need. The prohibition on "cruel, degrading or inhumane treatment" is a prohibition on numerous necessary and proper methods of punishing criminals. Based upon these facts, Saintland condemns this resolution in the strongest possible terms and calls upon the WA to repeal it immediately.
UPDATE: This resolution was repealed by Resolution #293. Saintland strongly endorses its repeal.
While we expected to condemn this resolution upon reading its title, this resolution is actually fairly innocuous. It establishes several bodies which research drugs for medicinal usage. While it is unfortunate that they collect data on recreational drug use, that wickedness does go on in many nations and data proving its harmfulness may prove helpful in battling that sin. Saintland endorses this resolution.
This resolution was repealed by Resolution 203. This resolution was related to pilotage of ships at sea. It was repealed by the WA because it was poorly thought out and did not even define pilotage! This only shows what a joke the WA is.
After having to repeal 2 previous resolutions relating to disaster aid, a matter that is none of the WA's business to begin with, the WA passed this resolution. Saintland condemns this resolution and calls for it to also be repealed.
This resolution was repealed by Resolution 225. It was designed to protect from ridiculous lawsuits those Good Samaritans that attempt to help a stranger in need. It also required medical personnel to do their duty and help. Saintland, unfortunately, endorses the repeal because the WA is right that the resolution was poorly written. The misspelling of Assistance that appears above is the actual name of this resolution. How incompetent does the WA have to be to pass a resolution with a blatant misspelling of a word in the title and how much more incompetent do they have to be to wait over a hundred resolutions to repeal it?
This resolution prohibits the contamination of water supplies and requires nations to provide their citizens with safe drinking water. Saintland endorses this resolution.
This wicked resolution requires nations to financially compensate those that are "wrongfully" convicted of crimes. Since all have sinned, even if one is wrongfully punished for a sin one did not actually commit, one does not deserve restitution. Since they have likely committed some other sin and gotten away with it, the entire premise of this legislation is wicked and an abomination to God. Saintland condemns this resolution in the strongest possible terms and calls upon the WA to repeal it immediately.
This resolution protects orphaned children and even contains language permitting the government of a nation to authorize their established Church to care for orphans. Saintland has no objections to this resolution, which is sadly necessary in a world in which too many nations throw orphans out onto the street.
This resolution is designed to address the problem of identity theft. Given that Feministvs Sanctvsterra is notorious for the use of false or stolen identities to enter and exit the Kingdom, Saintland strongly endorses this resolution.
This resolution establishes some basic standards for ethics in medical research, mainly to prohibit the conducting of medical research upon unwilling subjects. Saintland endorses this resolution.
This resolution restricts the conditions under which a nation can execute criminals. This resolution unnecessarily drags out the process required for the execution of murderers. Saintland condemns this resolution as pro-criminal.
This resolution establishes the International Gemological Agency and International Gemological Laboratory to stop "artificial" or "synthetic" gems from being passed off as equivalent to "natural" gems. As the Bible teaches that the wearing of jewelry is a sin (1 Timothy 2:9-10), Saintland condemns this resolution for encouraging ladies to commit this grievous sin against modesty.
This resolution prohibits female genital mutilation, a cultural tradition in some nations. While this practice is not a tradition in Saintland, Saintland nonetheless condemns this resolution as an attack on national sovereignty.
This resolution was repealed by Resolution #138. It established a WA Space Research Station. Saintland endorses the repeal because it is none of the WA's business to run a space station and because even if it was, a single space station is wholly inadequate for the WA's 15,000 or so member nations, let alone the 110,000+ known nations in our multiverse.
This resolution is designed to restrict the international spread of nuclear waste. Saintland endorses this resolution, although we would prefer a stronger resolution that restricted the use of nuclear energy.
This resolution was repealed by Resolution #206. It established the General Assembly Border Demarcation Organization (GABDO) to produce accurate maps.
