Indpendent Light Blue Forces Take Brasilistan Capital, Free Hostages

Hallsburgh - April 24, 2007 - In a daring predawn attack, elements of the 1st Parachute Battalion and the 1st Special Forces Regiment seized control of the capital of Brasilistan. A simultaneous attack by airmobile forces liberated Light Blue citizens held hostage in the diamond mines in the southern region of the country.

"I am pleased to report that our attacks were a complete success," said Elvis, the Leader of Independent Light Blue in a press conference this morning. "We have not only freed our citizens held hostages, but we have also removed the top elements of the Brasilistani command structure."

"We still face some guerilla activity," confirmed the chief of Independent Light Blue's staff, Admiral Nelson Wellington. "The remains of several enemy units have pulled back into the hills outside of the capital, but we are continuing to pursue them."
