Helghast Uniforms

TacPat is shorthand for Tactical Pattern, referring to a pattern of uniform using rubberized hook and loop mechanisms to decrease sound and additional pocket placement in specific areas to allow increased weight distribution. The pattern also incorporates a versatile fiber that wicks water and external heat away from the body. The TacPat has both a winter and summer set allowing for both hot and cold temperature uses.

Camouflage Patterns:

Kryptek Patterns are used for camouflage for the military. Nicknamed Scale Camo, due to appearing to have a scale like pattern, the Kryptek pattern is like for it's unique pattern as well as promising results in field trials. There are currently eleven patterns of this camouflage in use.

Highlander is designed for rugged regions where elevation changes frequently.

Mandrake is designed for thick vegetation specifically designed for the shadowy forests common in parts of Helghan.

Inferno is designed for high visibility. While it at first seems odd the Helghast military would transfer their camo pattern to their military police and disaster aid units, the decision to retain the pattern was one to aide in picking Helghast military disaster aide and military police out of their surroundings easily.

Yeti is utilized for complete whiteout conditions. Using greys and whites the Yeti camo mimics shadows in snow drifts to help cover the user.

Altitude is designed for High altitude environments like mountains. It is designed for areas lacking much snow coverage.

Pontus is a naval camouflage designed for use in shallow waters. It is often used with naval personnel near coastlines.

Neptune is used for deep waters or night time maneuvers on the open ocean.

Typhon utilizes muted grays and faded black to blend in with the night. This is ideal for night operations.

Raid is designed for urban environments. It's colors are best described simply as gray.

Banshee is designed for forested regions in later months after their green has faded. Banshee is also used in he sparse brush regions.

Nomad is designed with a desert region in mind. It's pattern is capable of covering the sands and rock of desert regions easily.



Uniform Format

LinkHelghast Citizen Guard are often considered glorified police. However they are in fact a small highly trained branch of the military responsible for bolstering police forces and coordinating the safety of population centers through out the nation. Used as counter terror units, riot control, and search and rescue, the Citizen Guard has a historic reputation dating back to before the founding of the Second Empire, and have always upheld a devotion to the people even at the cost of standing against the Autarch.

[spoiler=Army]LinkHelghast Soldiers are well trained modern soldiers, and capable warfighters on the battlefield. Their weapons and equipment augment their relentless training making them some of the most highly respected soldiers in Helsa perhaps the world. Perhaps their true source of respect though originates from their discipline and honor system. Helghast honor is a nigh religious custom and Helghast soldiers are drilled into holding their honor code above everything.
