Kebec National Football Team

The Kebecois national football team represents Kebec in international football competitions and is represented by the Kebec Footballing Union, the governing body for domestic and national football in Kebec. Their home stadium is the Stade National de Sario in the capital of Sario and the current senior team manager is former Cosumar national team coach Jude Adjei-Kontoh. Commonly referred to as "Les Dragons bleus" (The Blue Dragons), Kebec debuted in the second edition of the Independents Cup and made its' fully-international debut in the fifty-fourth edition of the AOCAF Cup following the events of the seventieth edition of the Baptism of Fire and 78th World Cup.

History

Early Years
Football has long been the staple game in Kebec, dating back to centuries and into the time of the former nation that was Skyatia, then football ruled supreme in the country. Following the founding of Kebec in 1995, a national league was to be established, however, this never materialized until 2042 when the National Ligue (Ligue Nacional) came into existence. It was only then when football was fully professionalized in Kebec, not to mention, the rampant approach of the AOCAF Cup, the regional soccer tournament of the AO was almost arrived, a testing ground ahead of WC79 qualifiers and the Baptism of Fire. The Kebec Footballing Union was quick to approach the Cosumarite goal-keeping and footballing legend, former Cosumar national team goalkeeper Jude Adjei-Kontoh with the coaching spot in which he was signed to a three-WC cycle contract worth N$10.6-million, a worthy sum for a person who is essentially a legend in his own right.

Kebec's first game against Elejamie saw a convincing 2-1 victory in front of 56.000 raucous fans as Stade National de Sario, complete with two late goals from twenty-six year-old Dominic Saint-Xavaux, prompting a stunning comeback and a worthy introduction of Kebec to the international stage, it also saw many praises to the manger for a well-constructed victory. Soon afterwards, a second 1-0 victory in Elejamie's Lanetiri Stadium which saw Kebecois star Saint-Xevaux score prompted another celebration and perhaps proved more than ever, Kebec was ready for the international game that was football and Kebec had football talent at its disposal, it just needed a command.

Kebec officially began tournament play in 2030 when it took place in the second Independents' Cup, its' first fully international tournament, Kebec performed horribly, managing 2 draws and a loss before bowing out in the group-stage, it was destined to not return to that competition soon after it Kebec joined Atlantian Oceanian in 2033, before the next Independents Cup rolled around, making it ineligible for compete for the trophy. Kebec would have to wait until 2038 to play again as it missed two world cup cycles until it hired Coach Adjei-Kontoh in 2037, his first fully complete team he fielded did alright in the third Global Cup of Soccer, surprisingly not falling apart during the play of the tournament, even holding off a late charge in their third game, they reached the Octofinals in which they were promptly eliminated, however, giving hope for their future ambitions as a national team.

Kebec's second major test was the AOCAF 54, many said this would be the determining factor on whether or not Adjei-Kontoh would remain as coach of the Kebec national team.
