HERALD GEO: LOCATED AT LAST?
Graham Chalmers, Senior Reporter

Rumours have been circulating that Herald Geo, who has been missing since the Apocalyptian Civil War, has finally been located. Neither the Intelligence or Defence Ministers have confirmed or denied the rumours; this hasn't stopped hopes from running high within the military, especially within the Shadow Trooper divisions.

If the rumours are indeed true, and this reporter sincerely hopes that they are, the Herald is expected to return to the Capital within the month. It is also believed that the Fourth Shadow Corps - which has been missing for the same period of time - will also make a return, as it has been widely accepted that they are with the Herald.

Four-Star General Kevin Dawson, the current acting leader of the Apocalypse, held a press conference earlier this week to express his relief.

"I am very pleased to hear that we have potentially located our missing leader," he said. "I am honoured to have led this country in his absence, but I have every intention of returning power to Herald Geo when he finally returns home."

"Rest assured, fellow Apocalyptians, that we are making use of every tool at our disposal in order to get him, and the missing Shadow Troopers, back where they belong."

General Dawson refused to divulge the exact whereabouts of the Herald and the missing commandos, by explaining that the information was classified. He went on to say that "All will be revealed when the time is right." However, it is very much possible that the information will never be published.

News of the discovery sent share prices soaring, as well as the price of slaves. Morale among GDA soldiers also increased by an estimated 8.4 percent — bringing morale almost back to the point where it was before the war began.

Many GDA soldiers we spoke to were happy with the news.

"I'll be glad when the Herald gets home," Lieutenant James Anderson told us. "Because it means we'll finally get to start executing all of the filthy traitors who dared to defy his divine will." Rubbing his hands together eagerly, he added, "Oh, I can't wait to see what he does to the spineless b******s."

All of the soldiers we talked to shared Lieutenant Anderson's attitude; some even compared the mass executions to come to the mass executions which followed the deposal of King Sombra. Many soldiers also said that they are particularly looking forward to the execution of former Admiral of the Fleet, Daniel MacPherson, who led the rebels.

One thing's for sure: once the Herald returns, things in the Apocalypse will never be the same again.

NEWS IN BRIEF

NEW NUKES UNVEILED

SLAVE REVOLT CRUSHED

The task force deployed to the area was recalled when the Wezeltonians withdrew, blaming 'bad intelligence' for the invasion; President Bullock thanked us for our assistance nonetheless.

The Mark VI Nuclear Missile boasts a range of 8,000 miles; 2,000 more than the Mark V.

Seriously, why do they even bother? Idiots.
