Empire State University (ESU) is a public university in O'polis. It was established in 1754 as Princess' College (Oharic: koleji) by imperial charter of Empress Onozomo I and is the oldest college in O'polis as well as the fifth institution of higher learning in the country. A 1787 charter placed the imperial institution under a public board of trustees before it was renamed Empire State University in 1896. The university is organised into twenty schools, including ESU College, the School of Engineering and Applied Science, and the School of General Studies. The university also has global research outposts across Europa.
Sirius Business School (SBS) in Sirius is one of the world's leading management schools. The school is officially named the Sirius University Graduate School of Business Administration. The school offers a full-time MBA program, a Doctoral program and several executive education programs. Current MBA classes have a size of approximately 1.000 students, divided into twenty sections (A-T). Each section takes classes together the first year, with the intention of forming deep social bonds. Graduation rates are approximately 99.5%. Teaching is almost exclusively (95%) done through case teaching (also referred to as the Socratic method), where the students prepare teaching cases and discuss them in class. The School owns Sirius Business School Publishing, which publishes business books, teaching cases and the monthly Sirius Business Review. In addition to Master's and Doctoral degrees, Sirius Business School offers a non-degree executive program called the Advanced Management Program which confers alumni status to all participants.
Zuidhaven Institute of Technology (ZIT) is a private research university in Zuidhaven. Founded in 1861 in response to the increasing industrialization of Orioni, ZIT adopted a Europan polytechnic university model and stressed laboratory instruction in applied science and engineering. With five schools and one college which contain a total of 32 departments, ZIT is often cited as among the world's top research universities. The Institute is traditionally known for its research and education in the physical sciences and engineering, and more recently in biology, economics, linguistics, and management as well.
Andro Academy of Fine Arts (AAFA) in Andro was founded in 1775 as a cost-free training center for the printing of silk and cotton textiles, and later included the plastic arts. Furthermore, scholarships allowed many students to travel to O'polis and other Europan centers of studies, where they typically dedicated themselves to copying grand masters' works, which was a common method of study in that era. The academy's focus evolved toward the fine arts and in 1778. The academy organised its first exhibition of prize-winning student work in 1786; in the next year's exhibition, other non-student artworks were also displayed. Other courses offered include painting, music, sculpture, architecture and other fine arts.

Vega Military Academy (VMA), also known as South Point, The Vecademy or simply The Point, is a four-year coeducational federal service academy located in Vega. The academic program grants a bachelor of science degree with a curriculum that grades cadets' performance upon a broad academic program, military leadership performance, and mandatory participation in competitive athletics. A cadet's class rank, which determines his or her Army branch and assignment upon graduation, is calculated as a combination of academic performance (55%), military leadership performance (30%), and physical fitness and athletic performance (15%). Most graduates are commissioned as second lieutenants in the Imperial Orioni Defense Force. Foreign cadets are commissioned into the armies of their home countries.
Imperial Academy prepares future government officials. Those who pass first two stages of examinations (literary exam) are admitted to the academy. The class size is usually 200 students, who live in the residential hall and follow strict routine and school rules. (Tuition, room and board are provided by the government.) It also serves as the state shrine for Osiri and Amisti sages. The students' opinions on government policies, especially collective statements and demonstrations, can be influential as they represented fresh and uncorrupted consensus of young scholars. The official in charge is Tefechito, of 3rd senior rank, and 36 other officials including those from other offices are involved in running the academy.
