They were seated around the big white marble table. Dorwiniom wine was served in silver goblets.
"First, let's drink for our first reunion! For this fine wine let us thank our friend Elfwine from Rohan."
Once the first round of drinks was over, Ecthelion announced.
"Now, let us bring the era of peace to the Middle Earth... So, let us split... I mean, clearly define the borders of Middle Earth among each of us, and respect it to ensure worldwide peace. One who chooses to brake this agreement will be considered as an enemy of all, I mean, brake regarding the interests of those present. Rulers that decided not to come will have no protection, of course. Who thinks such World Peace is a bad idea?"
"So. does anyone have any preferences for land?... Now, first of all, considering that the Cardonal Elves are not here, in case of their sudden disappearance, the Kingdom of Gondolin claims Cardolan, Hollin, and Moria. That is, we may not take all of them under our control, but we are to decide to whom we shall give it. If anyone else tries to take it, we shall consider it as a declaration of war against the Kingdom of Gondolin and the one who do so will know the wrath of elves of Gondolin."

"Hmm yes, the wine is... good. Subtle, but good. A brew of men, for it is not strong enough for a dwarf-brew!" Stammered Nelyafinwë, "But on to important matter; we Dwarves do not claim much land, and as our enemies are not here we will not cease war upon them.

"What we do claim is simple: The Iron Hills, yet they our far away and not the pride of our people. Gundabad we would claim, but it has long since been defiled. The Lonely Mountain is also in the distance, and so we cannot do much to preserve it. The Blue Mountains on the other hand we do claim, and they are a peaceful place. And mostly the halls of Khazad-dûm, the pride of Durin and all of the Khazad.
So, Ecthelion, I marvel at your audacity to claim "Moria". I do not wish to aggravate the Elves, our friends, but I wonder under what pretext you claim the mansions of Durin the Deathless? I will but it into perspective: the claim you make is alike to Dwarves claiming Tirion upon Túna. Not Cuiviénen, for that is the place of you birth, alike to Gundabad. No, it is akin to the greatest city of your people.
But let us drink, and have a merry time. Later it will be time to discuss topics as have been mentioned!"

"This mannosh wine does not hold a candle to the Orcish drink. Some may call it seipl, but not we." Gothmog growls. "Now, ya see, I do not have any true authority. Th e Witch King nay not be completely happy with our claims, but that's how it is."

"Now, our first claim isn't for us. Rather, it's for a friend, of a soon to be friend. For one of the few other orcs out there. We would claim the land of the Darkmarshes faction as under our influence, our protection. You mess with them, you have to go through us. You might call this claim a bit much, but we aren't actually claiming it for ourselves. Not for us to take, but for a friend to be safe in. He who wishes to dispute this can, but know we are stubborn in our bargaining."

"I believe the Witch King indulged in too much wine," Frizar said, "So until he awakes and can get over the hangover, I would like to claim the Grey Mountain Narrows, The High Pass, and Northern Rhovanion. These lands suit my people the most because of the high mountains and the cool climates they offer. I am sorry if I cut anyone, but I believe that we would be here a while waiting for a wraith to make prayers to the porcelain god. Thank you."

Elfwine took a sip of wine before stating, "The Anduin Vale would be a nice area, and so would the Great Forest of Fangorn, however Rhovanion would be on the list too. You know what? I'll just reserve The Anduin Vale, Eastern Rhovanion, and Fangorn," Elfwine started to say before started to blank out, "If it's not too much I'd also like to make sure that no one makes claims to any territory in Gondor, excluding territories that don't belong to the Unfettered. If they do... I'll be forced..." Elfwine's eyelids were starting to close, "To go to war, due.. to... the alliance with... the Unfetter-" Elfwine slumped down in his chair just before he was completely asleep.

Ah! Apologies! {Belch} We were waylaid by bandits on the way, and were late! Looking at the map, In'tirrilas mumbled: Oh! Many people want for the lands of the East! Unfortunately, we cannot allow that, in the name of {hic} peace!... We will stake our claim on Gorgoroth, Ithilien, Lebenin and the Horse Plains! If you want to challenge that, I'm open to suggest-

Having heard the objection of the dwarves, Ethelion suddenly realized how bold he was in his request. Thinking only about the safety of the passage of for the elves to Mithlond, ignoring cultural foundations of other nations - it was unacceptable. No, it was completely irresponsible for the ruler of elves to act this way. Indeed, what could be more insulting to the dwarves than seeing their sacred city ruled by the elves, even if those elves are their friends.
"Indeed, Nelyafinwë... I apologize for my previous statement. Apparently even elves cannot hold such fine wine" - slightly bowed his head Ecthelion while addressing his ally. "It was never my intention to rule in Khazad-dum, I am interested only in the safe passage for my fellow elves who wish to depart to Valinor. Thus, I retract my claim on Moria, under condition that we together reconstruct the Doors of Durin and that you will not prevent elves respectfully using your marvelous passage under Caradhras to leave Middle Earth. If you are willing, we would be even interested in recreating the old cooperation between Eregion and Khazad-dum, economic, technological, and of course cultural".
Having said it, Ecthelion took another sip of wine.
"We, nevertheless, shall take these following lands under our protection: Rhudaur, where the Last Homely House East of the Sea is located; Wold & Foothills, where our Caras Galadhon is; and Dunlad, for we wish Cardolan elves to be under our protection. We would also look at Mirkwood, but those elves have already left Middle Earth and the land are skillfully governed by our lords Frizzar and Whith King. Let's drink in the name of their sound leadership in that region!" Ecthelion raised his glass while looking at the lords, some of which were a bit tipsy.
"Now, we shall not make claims anymore. These are the lands of the Elven Realm of Gondolin!"

Valinus made a noticeable entrance into the summit, not a boisterous one, but enough to be acknowledged. "Greetings." he said, before pulling out an empty chair and settling into it. "I apologize for my lateness. Now I don't know what dealings you good men, dwarves, orcs and elves have made concerning the territory of the Unfettered, but here are my terms. The Unfettered lays claim to Andrast, Anfalas, Lamedon, Belfalas, Lebennin and Anorien. Any claims on the territory that we hold now are a violation of our sovreignity." He said, looking from face to face to see if any challenged his terms.

In resopnse to the Unfettered's bold claim, In'tirrilas, fully sober now, rumbled amiably: We aknowledge your claim at this summit, and would relinquish you all but Anorien! For no real claim, as of yet, have you. That land is yet to be won by sword and spear.
Turning to the leaders of Angmar, he said:"Consider with your allies, for no quarrel I've with you. From yonder, you can't protect the Darkmarshes from my strike, but A mind I have to strike a deal: Relinquish me those lands, and in a moment dire I will be there to aid you, but in a moment restful I'll never strike you. After declaring this, the King sat down and pondered the situation...

"So here it is, no more claims?" Ecthelion slowly addressed his tipsy colleagues. He had some trouble controlling his tongue as well.
"Elfwine, why don't we do it this way, you abandon your claims on the Darkmarshes lands, and I will abandon my claims on Foothills in your favor?"
After this he addressed the delegation of the Unfettered and the White Hand:
"In this claim, I am afraid, I cannot protect the White Hand from the conflict. As far as I understand, you had an agreement when the Unfettered had Andrast in their sphere of influence, White Hand, you broke it. On the other hand, the Unfettered were late to lay down their claims. I believe this dispute is to be solved by a common vote. Here is a chalice for a secret vote. Everyone, write the name of the kingdom you think should receive the rights on Andrast - White Hand or the Unfettered. Same goes for the Anorien. The Unfettered or Rhun?"
After which Ecthelion passed round the table two silver cups for everyone to put in their secret votes.
On Ecthelion's pieces of paper it was written "The Unfettered" on the first, and "Dominion of Rhun" on the second one.

Elfwine replied, "No, Lorien is a very sacred Elven forest, I would never want it to be in my hands nor the orcs of Darkmarshes, as for Rhovanion it was our homeland before The Golden Hordes of Rhun almost ended it, and one of the retreating tribes called the Eorlings led by Eorl the Young, fled to the Northern Vales of Anduin, then finally Gondor called for help, Caledrahon was being invaded by thousands of orcs, the odds of the message reaching us was slim. However it reached us and with great haste, Eorl led the Eorlings charging straight at the massive horde. The odds were slim, yet all, and I mean ALL of the invading orcs were killed. As a reward the Eorlings were given Caledrahon as a gift."
