- Dusting Off the Forums -
The forums need an update. Don't bother arguing, they need an update. There are relics lying out in the open, useful threads buried under heaps of useless stuff, and government threads for positions that don't even exist anymore. We need the reboot to reach the forums before the forums kill the reboot. Table A below will represent the present arrangement of the forums. It is inefficient, confusing, jumbled, and badly in need of a fix-up. I like the idea of a "capitol city"-feel to the forums, where each category is like a different part of the city and each board and sub-board is a different building or office in the city. We have partially embraced this feel thus far (Ambassador Row, Capitol Building, Cultural Square, Libraries...), and I would like to completely go that direction. Table B below will represent my proposal for the future arrangement of the forums.

Our forums deserve to be dusted off and brought into 2016. This is obviously a much more simple appearance, but it is also very powerful. The old Great House-themed graphics should be removed from the cycling banners, the economy is due to be put on life support, and the RIASF sections (invisible unless you are a Sailor) will be left to RedDusk and Benevolent Thomas to handle as they see fit. All of these changes would combine to modernize, crispen up, and streamline the forums. I wouldn't mind looking into different themes, color schemes, and graphics for the forums: the old ones aren't bad at all, but if we are ever going to change them, then now would be the time. The forums - much like the RMB - are a very important part of our region. They are a place where we enjoy one another's company, a place to play, a place to work, and a place to mess around. If there is no opposition, then I will move forward with these changes. If there are is opposition, then we will talk through it. What do you think? Do you have any discrepancies? Suggestions? Ideas?
