Recon National Suite (Anthem & Requiem)

The Recon Empire prides itself in original musical compositions written by H.I.M. Emperor-King Haden I, the incumbent monarch of the Recon Empire and the Crown Federation of Recon. The Recon National Suite consists of two works, mainly the State Anthem and State Requiem of the nation and region. These works will be played at state functions and events that correspond to the various needs, from celebrations to mournings.

Abiding by the Constitution, citizens of the Crown Federation of Recon may perform these works freely, but are prohibited from making alterations or parodies.

Salute To The King marks the grand opening of the Recon National Suite, in conjunction with the state motto of the Recon Empire, it showcases the successes and prosperity of the Recon Empire and the Crown Federation in the international platform. The state anthem is regularly performed or sung in schools and armed forces camps at ceremonies held at the beginning and/or the end of each day, during which the state flag is also raised and lowered. Reconians are especially encouraged to sing the state anthem on occasions of national celebration or national significance such as at the National Day Parade, at National Day observance ceremonies conducted by educational institutions and government departments, and at sporting events at which Reconian teams are participating.

2. "The Empire Requiem" - The State Requiem (LinkLink)

Date of Publication: 26 August 2015
Publication Company: National Arts Council
Performed by: Sir Frederick Lutoslawski and the Recon Imperial Philharmonic Orchestra

The Empire Requiem marks the second of the Recon National Suite, which includes the state anthem of the Recon Empire and the CFOR, Salute to the King/Emperor(usage depending on context). Serving as the official state requiem, the piece is written as a contrast to the state anthem, and will be used for all state and military funerals, or other mourning events. As a remembrance to the Empire, this piece can be played to commemorate the fall of any official entities or citizens of the Recon Empire and the CFOR.

Lyrics:

In days we have strived for,
In nights we have fought for,
The glory of Recon
is true in our heart.

To feel our spirit,
in triumph and anguish,
The moment we'll cherish,
is pure in our soul.

The might of our people
The flame of Lelouxians
We will fight together
for one final stand!

Remembrance of Kingdom
affirms our credence
The pride of our Empire
will last till the dawn!

The pride of our Empire will last...
We will last the dawn!

The recon empire
