Geography

The Isle of Avalon is a complex combination of plains and valleys and a few chains of Mountains reaching their highest point at the heart of the Isle, where the hight peak (Mt. King, 3718m) lies. The northern side of the island is generally dryer while the southern part its very humid, with three giant lakes (lk. Wellyn, lk. Lyon and lk. Ehl) and wide, fast flowing rivers.

The Island of Shalott is much less mountainous and lies right at the entrance of the Blue Bay, or Blue Gulf. A third island, called the Isle of Valour, due northeast of the main island is not permanently inhabited, but it is used for symbolic ceremonies and tournaments, as well as some military trainings and tests. It belongs to the Ehlnarim fiefdom but its Lord has conceded its property to the Druids.

The Avalonic coastline varies a great deal by the seas and regions it borders. The Northern coast of Avalon is mainly flat and sometimes sandy, even with dunes. It is an important area of bird life and is a habitat for many shore and wading birds. At the Southern side, the coastline becomes more rocky and steep, with numerous cliffs and tiny fishing villages along the coastline.

Territorial Administration

Avalon is divided in ten fiefdoms, a Capital District and a Temple, symbolic fief for the Druids in Logres. Together they make up the twelve seats of power, and the twelve swords on the Round Table. While the Capital District is under the King's direct administration, the fiefdoms are the property of the Lords of the Realm. Each fiefdom has some sort of local assembly but it's up to their Lord to concede to their demands. The Round Table can overturn a Lords decision though, and good will and responsible governance is expected. Or somebody's head could appear on a stake.

The official administrative divisions or fiefdoms, their Court Seats (in brackets), population figures (as in real figures, not the billions you'll see on Avalon's main page, that's crazy ffs!) and their current Lords and Ladies are as follows:
