Major Players in Vancouvia and their Favorite Drinks

Ian Wellworth

Occupation: Ambassador to the Coalition
Age: 23
Residence: Vesuvius

A young man of 23, fresh out of college after graduating with a degree in Political Science, Ian had been determined to be Vancouvia's best choice for a new foreign ambassador after completing the lengthy Occupation Tests. His steady honesty, intelligent wit, and handsome looks were valued by many Vancouvian senators, who had agreed that he would be their de facto ambassador to represent Vancouvia at the various regional conferences and meetings. Ian is considered the rising star in Vancouvian foreign relations, however he sometimes lacks confidence in himself. He is now posted at the I.D. as the Vancouvian ambassador to the Coalition of Free Nations. Ian almost always takes a long morning run. His favorite drink is a cool glass of lemonade.

Augustia White

Occupation: Ambassador to the League
Age: 30
Residence: Vesuvius

"Augustia White had a way with words, a way that pulled you in closer and made you wanting more upon hearing a pause. Her hair was golden, her eyes were emeralds, and her lips were ruby. At least Ian thought so."

A former VEO agent, Augustia was transferred to the League and has served as Vancouvia's representative there since its creation. Little is known about her past other than that she was honorably discharged from service after several years in the organization. Her favorite drink is unknown.

Charles Rochester

Occupation: Former Temporary President, Ambassador
Age: 63
Residence: Rochester Falls

Charles Rochester is a old man, 63 years in age, with extensive political experience. He had the honor of serving as Vancouvia's only true head of state for a brief year, is a former governor, and is still widely regarded as an influential and respected man. His hair is whited but still full, rolling like a wave whenever the wind catches it. He is tall and demanding, like a modern day George Washington, with a voice that draws people in. Sometimes tactless, sometimes tactful, Rochester is notorious for always saying something exciting, whether it is appropriate or not is to be debated later by the media. Regardless, he gets things done efficiently and quickly, a trait valued by all Vancouvians. He is married but has no children. His favorite drink is a freezing glass of milk.

Montgomery Alabama

Occupation: Ambassador
Age: 38
Residence: Lexington

A former hostage negotiator, Montgomery quickly rose to fame after talking down a large gang of bank robbers that had been held up in a Lexington bank for over thirty hours. His tactics enabled everyone to be retrieved unharmed, including the would-be robbers. Since then, he has served one term as Lexington mayor before being asked to serve as an Ambassador. Calm, cool, and collected, Montgomery always maintains his composure, and is thus best suited to discuss critical matters in rival countries Vancouvia has disagreements with. Montgomery is a small man, but nevertheless is usually able to command the respect of his colleagues. He secretly enjoys playing video games, and his favorite drink is root beer.

Harold Storm

Occupation: General
Age: 59
Residence: Yorkford

Harold Storm is widely considered to be Vancouvia's chief military commander, although all generals in the Vancouvian National Army are of equal rank and status. Harold, an incredibly patriotic man, is a strategic naval commander, and although his rank affords him the right to command ground troops, he almost exclusively spends his time on the sea. Storm is deemed to be quite theatrical by those around him, frequently going out of his way to make a show of things. A jolly man, he cultivates a beard and an overflowing mustache. He enjoys a lively game of chess when he is not commanding a fleet. His favorite drink is pineapple and mango juice.

George Pastel

Occupation: Active Speaker
Age: 54
Residence: Vesuvius

A leader and a moderate, George is currently the default Active Speaker for the Congress during wartime and retains the second longest senatorial term. Although the Active Speaker position essentially only entails serving as a Commander-in-Chief in wartime, George Pastel is frequently looked to as a leader during peacetime, as well. His political experience is long and full, but he has been known to air on the side of the majority almost always. He is personal friends with Charles Rochester, is married with three children, and maintains a family ranch outside of Lexington. His favorite drink is river water, straight from the river.
