The crown jewel of this aerospace legacy is the colossal main assembly plant located to the south east of Yaquina at Rainer Fields. Originally constructed to build the revolutionary widebody "Jumbo" jets, the Yaquina facility rapidly evolved into one of the largest buildings by volume in the world.
