Vote FOR Repeal: "Injunct The Crown Dependency of Hong Kong"
Resolution Analysis
Overview
This proposal aims to repeal Security Council Resolution #484 “Injunct The Crown Dependency of Hong Kong”, a resolution previously written to protect the region from foreign invasions which it has previously suffered.
Recommendation
This resolution is long overdue for a repeal, as the injunction no longer serves its original purpose, and only prohibits the once native community from taking control of their region. The injunction forbids the region's conversion from a frontier, and, by extension, blocks the natives from establishing a stable source of power in their region, leaving it susceptible to invasion.
For these reasons, the Ministry of World Assembly Affairs recommends a vote FOR “Repeal: Injunct The Crown Dependency of Hong Kong”.
