Ideology of TELLURISM
Tellurism is a unique socio-political ideology centered around providing every citizen with equal access to essential life-sustaining resources and services, such as healthcare, food, protection, and agricultural support. Unlike traditional socialist models that may focus on redistributing wealth or land, Tellurism prioritizes the fair distribution of necessities, ensuring that all individuals have the means to live safely, healthily, and with dignity. This ideology stands firmly against fascism, viewing it as a direct threat to societal equity and well-being. Tellurism does not simply seek equality in abstract terms; it strives for a tangible, needs-based equality rooted in compassion, protection, and community support.Derived from "Tellus," the ancient Roman goddess of Earth, Tellurism draws inspiration from the nurturing and sustaining aspects of nature itself. Like the Earth providing for all, Tellurist societies aim to create systems where no one is deprived of vital resources. This philosophy upholds that a nation’s strength and progress are directly tied to the well-being of its people, encouraging a balanced, inclusive approach where individuals are valued based on their humanity rather than their wealth or social class.
In a Tellurist society, the government takes on a “Father Knows Best” role, maintaining a strong, centralized authority that acts in the citizens' best interests through careful stewardship and guidance. Withered Allyway, for example, has adopted Tellurism within a benevolent dictatorship model. This structure allows leaders to make swift decisions aimed at protecting and providing for the population while avoiding the inefficiencies of bureaucratic or overly democratic systems. Although power is concentrated at the top, it is wielded with a sense of duty toward the people, ensuring that all policies align with the core Tellurist values of fairness and support.
Tellurism’s anti-fascist stance reinforces its commitment to defending the rights and freedoms of individuals against authoritarian regimes that promote oppression and inequality. This ideology teaches that a unified, resource-focused society can overcome the divisive forces of fascism, fostering resilience and harmony among its people. Through this structured and compassionate governance, Tellurism seeks to cultivate a society where every person can flourish, knowing their basic needs will always be met by the state.
