the nation of Orostein has a temperate climate except in the northern reaches where the winters are more intense, the land is mostly hilly with one notable moutain range named "the scales". there are a large number of lakes with rivers that connect them to the sea, Orostein is not land locked though it has a very small coast line, broken up into a northern coast (which is larger) and a western coast which is where the capital city is located. many of the lakes are devoted to the trout farming industry though that has begun to change with a number of them especially lake Borous becoming a place for tourists to visit.
