Addressing the September 13th Pravakian massacre

This report is to inform the public and make a statement that represents the Trout Essembly executive leadership’s opinion of the tragic events that took place on September 13th 2024.

On this date, Pravakia launched an invasion and genocide of 16 small nations in the Trout Essembly. Their forces invaded the various nations all at once, with their powerful military split up to cover the most ground possible. Reports from the few survivors state that the invasions involved large infantries and artillery, as well as bombing runs performed on cities by the Pravakian Air Force. A census performed a few days after the massacre showed that these invasions killed 87% of the total population of these nations, with the rest evacuating from the region by sea.

It is not entirely clear why Pravakia did this, though their official statement was that they were “making it easier to map the region by having fewer nations”. Other theories include that this was an attempted power grab from Pravakia, or that the massacre was an attempt to stop the socialist ideology from spreading, as there had been rumours of a worker’s uprising within these nations.

The Trout Essembly executive leadership recognise the atrocious nature of Pravakia’s actions and have taken measures to ensure that this will not happen again. Pravakia has been disciplined and stripped of some positions within the leadership. Also to discourage this unruly behaviour, Drenth Islands, Aviary and Weaven have formed the DAW pact, which hopefully will prevent anything like this happening again.
