LWU - About Us
***About Us***Our Roster***Diplomacy***Lone Wolves United, or LWU for short, is one of the oldest, still active, raider regions in NationStates, and one of this game's most storied regions, having led or participated in countless raids during our 19 years on this website, with some of us having remained on the website and active in the region ever since.
We welcome both new players wanting to join our community or learn how to raid, and veteran players who have had their own fair share of experience in raiding. Our primary community hub, where you'll get to meet your fellow LWU member, is our discord server which you can join 
here, or you can get to know us on the Regional Message Board of our region, just say an 'hello' and someone should soon welcome you to the region and help you with any questions you may have!
As a community we tend not take the game very seriously, and that goes for both ourselves and our opponents, and we welcome our members into this spirit of Wolfism, our regional creed, which you will in time learn about! And while raiding is our primary activity we currently also host a Nation Roleplay in our RP region Wolfterra, which you are free to join.
What is Raiding?Raiding, also called 'Invading', is the act of seizing the World Assembly Delegate position in other regions that are without a 'Governor', thereby allowing us to takeover the region. This is in practice the main activity that Lone Wolves United engages in, which we coordinate through our discord server.
In NationStates wars are not fought between nations using armies, tanks or airplanes, but instead they are fought between regions and by utilizing the World Assembly. We do this by moving our World Assembly member nations to another region and endorsing one of our members to become World Assembly Delegate of the region we're invading, enabling us to edit the region to our liking and ban any nation that would oppose us.
After the initial invasion what is called an 'occupation' will begin. At this point we'll ask te World Assembly member nations that were not able to join us in the initial invasion to move to the region we've invaded and endorse the World Assembly Delegate to strengthen our hold in the region.
This is broadly what raiding or invading entails, though there are other specifics that you'll learn by participating in raids. If you're interested we suggest you join our discord server or if you are not able to be on discord you can still participate in raids by joining the Horde.
Frequently Asked Questions How do I join the World Assembly? You have to go on the World Assembly and click on the button that says "Apply to Join". You will then get an email and you just have to click the link on it to join. Just remember that you may only have one nation in the World Assembly at a time and if you're found to have more that one nation in it you risk being banned permanently. Can I raid without being in the World Assembly? No, raiding is only possible if you're a member of the World Assembly. You're still welcome to join our region, you just won't be able to raid with us. Can I raid without being on Discord? Yes, you can still raid with us without being on discord by joining the Horde. How do I endorse another nation? As long as both your nation and the nation you want to endorse are in the same region and in the World Assembly you just have to click on the nation you want to endorse and scroll down. There will be a button saying "Endorse" just at the bottom. What is Wolfism? Wolfism is our regional ideology. It is what drives our region's policies and military action. As Wolfists, we believe in the formation of a raider power, the overthrow of all forms of defender supremacy, and the conquest of all of NationStates.
