Greekland in Europa
The Kingric of Greekland (Greekish:
Βασίλειον της Ελλάδος; Vasíleion tis Elládos), onefoldly known as Greekland, Graecia, and seldly Hellas (Greekish: Ελλάς; Ellás) is a land in Southeuropa. By its groundlaw, it is a onehoodsstate constitutional monarchy under a parliamentary democracy split into nine Provinces (Greekish: επαρχία; eparchía), three sunderly steads (Greekish: ειδική πόλη; eidikí póli) and one selfruling cloister (Greekish: αυτόνομη μοναστική πολιτείαautónomi monastikí politeía); in truth, it has been under militaryregering for most of the last seven yeartens.

The many steadstates that made up orold Greekland were the birthords of Europish canst, wittenship, and philosophy, and they spread this through the aoverings of Alexander of Macedon; aovered by the Romish Republic in the Twithe Yearhundred BC, Greekish culture overtook that of the Romers and even making their own speech and culture the mainstay of the Eastern Romish Riche. After the ERR was aovered by the Persish Riche in 615 YL, Greekland switched hands between the Saracens, the Crossknights, and lastly the Anatolish Caliphdom, and a Greekish nationstate was withgrounded—though now only in a small bit of Greekland—in the Greekish Unoffhanghoodscrig of 1821–29. Since then, she has been a heavy dealth of English, French, Doech, and Russish mightpolitic, a bequest of which still bestands to this day.

Politic

Quoth the Groundlaw of 1911—which, with some wendings, is still worksome—the Kingric of Greekland is a constitutional monarchy under a parliamentarish democracy. Pav́los II—written in English as Paul—of the Greekish bough of the House of Glücksburg is the King of the Greeks (Greekish: Βασιλευς των Ελλήνων; Vasileus ton Ellínon), the stateshead of Greekland. The King benames and sacks all ministers of the Greekish regering. As the Overcommander of the Kingly Greekish Stridecrafts, he bodes crig, makes frith, and ingoes fordrawings of trade or alliance, benames high military and burgherly ambights, and gives aeremarks and outtokenings. He opens, closes, and uploosens the Greekish Gemoot and becraftens laws made by that Gemoot. His crown is given by Half-Salish primogeniture: the eldest son of the King bears the title of Greekish Crownprince (Greekish: Έλληνας διάδοχος; Éllinas diádochos) and will nighfollow him upon his death or stepping off; if there is no son, the King's eldest daughter will nighfollow him, but shall not bear the title of Crownprincess.

The Greekish Gemoot (Greekish: Ελληνικό Κοινοβούλιο; Ellinikó Koinovoúlio), seldly called the Boule, is the overster lawmakingsforsamling of the land. It is onecamerly, made up of 300 fortreaders each gewaled to their ambight once every four years through first-yond-the-line wales in a samely toll of walerings. It makes, takes away, and forothers laws, sets the budget and draws the gavel that bydraws it, and it may hold the regering to answer and if they so wish, at the gefear of the Gemoot itself uploosening, kick it from ambight. Upon the Gemoot's forsamling after its wale, a limbman of the Gemoot who can hold the trust and truefast of the Gemoot—often the leader of the biggest party—is benamed the Regeringspresident (Greekish: Πρόεδρος της Κυβερνήσεως; Próedros tis Kyverníseos), better known in the English-Speaking World as the Prime Minister of Greekland, and he also leads the Gemoot itself. As of 2019, this has been Eftychia Christophilou, a businesswoman from Thessaloniki who until 2023 led the Folksfront for Greater Greekland (Greekish: Λαϊκό Μέτωπο Μεγάλης Ελλάδας; Laïkó Métopo Megális Elládas).

In the December of 2023 and in answer to the then-ongoing Crig in Ionia not going well, the Greekish Stridecrafts threw a palaceputsch. As a gefollow, the Gemoot has been underbroken and uploosened, the Writ of Habeas Corpus put on hold, and a Militaryregerer (Greekish: Στρατιωτικός Αντιβασιλέας; Stratiotikós Antivasiléas) has been benamed by the military: the PM cannot make any beslottings besunderly in the fields of outerpolitic, fordeithing, openly politic, and trade, without the tostevening of the Militaryregent, now Highmarshal Vassilios Ypsilantis.

Greekish is the only amb- or landsspeech in all of Greekland. Other speeches spoken in the land inhold Albanish, Bulgarish, Serbish, Wallachish, Egyptish, and Anatolish.

Gesheede

The south of Morea was likely the first ord the homo sapiens set foot on after leaving Africa, which he is thought to have done so 200,000 years ago. Civilisations such as the Cycladish culture in the Cyclades (3200 BC), the Minoish civilisation in Crete (2700–1500 BC), and the Mycenaish civilisation in mainland Greekland (1600–1100 BC) are the eldest civilisations in Europa. With the fall of the Mycenaeish civilisation, Greekland inwent its First Dark Tidealter; this ended with the First Olympiads, held in 776 BC. The rise of Greekish steadstates or poleis such as Athens, Sparta, Corinth, Rhodes, and Thebes and their forgreatening into the Blacksea, Asia Minor, and some of the Middlemere sparked a cultureboom and onwicked the buildwork, drama, wittenship, and philosophy that was the groundworks for Western Civilisation. Greeks clashed with the mightier Persish Riche many times, and though they thwarted the Persish in 480 BC, infighting between the steadstates allowed the rising mighte of the Kingric of Macedon to underwarp all of the Greekish Halfieland: Alexander "the Great" of Macedonia went on his aoverings in 336 to 323 BC, carving the greatest riche of that time.

With Alexander's death, his riche was split between his diadochi such as the Ptolemaish, Seleucish, and Antigonish Kingrics: a new Hellenistish Tidealter began, hundreds of new Greekish steads were grounded, and Greekish cansts and wittenship reached its peak. Meanwhile, Rome aovered Greekland through a series of crigs and andslottings betwen 146 and 27 BC. The Greeks Forgreekened Rome—though this began far before Greekland itself was aovered—and quickly became among its main kernland. Christendom came to Greekland in the 2he and 3rd Yearhundreds before becoming the stateschurch in 392 YL: with the Last Olympiad, held in 393 YL, Greeks forsook their old religion and tostoered their old temples. After Western Rome fell, the Byzantinish Riche held on; even today, Asia Minor and Greekland are known as "Rhomania" or some byspel thereof in most Neareastern speeches. Caser Chosroes II stormed and took Micklegarth in 615 YL, but later gave it back to his brother-in-law Caser Theodosius III in 631 YL. Theodosius and his nighfollowers held onto the Byzantinish Riche until 715 YL: After withstanding the Saracenish onslaught for so long, finally a horde of Saracens led by Caliph Iasintos I stormed the stead, while Theodosius and the Caserly Hove fled to Serbia.

The Saracenish Caliphdom held onto Greekland until it was tore asunder in 929 YL when Forst Mahomet of Micklegarth crowned himself Caliph of Micklegarth, ruling Greekland and most of Asia Minor. Catholicish Crossknights overfell in 1092 YL, putting Caliph Ottomanus II on a cross and grounding the Caserric of Micklegarth in 1096 YL. Seeking to Forfranken the Greeks and make them Catholicish, the new 'Latinish' merely became Orthodoxish Greeks themselves. The Forstdom of Smyrna—ruled in the Caser's name by an Anatolish lendlord—aovered most of Greekland in 1389 and in what's been dubbed the darkest day for Christendom and Southeuropa alike, Micklegarth fell to Forst Mahomet II of Smyrna on the 29th of April 1461. For the next two yearhundreds, all of Greekland outtaking Cyprus and Crete—under Venedy until 1571 and 1669 beteeingswise—was Anatolish, cutting Greekland off from the wittenshiply forthstrides made in Europa through and after the Withbirth and bringing about the Twithe Greekish Dark Tidealter. A heavy gavel was lain on the Greeks, their land was given to Anatolish ethelmen, and the regering ambightly handled the Christly morehood as undermennish, leading many to seem to forsake their Greekish selfhood in the open. In the late 18th Yearhundred, the thought to ground a new Greekish nation-state based not on the Byzantinish Riche but on Old Greekland, grew among the rising Greekish middleshift. As a gefollow, the Greekish Uprising of 1821 fought off the Anatolish Riche and, with help from England, Frankric, Russland, and the newly-grounded Greatforstdom of Egypt—ruled by an Orthodoxish Greek—grounded an unoffhanging Greekland. The Great Mightes chose Prince Otto of Baiyer as the first King of Greekland and after he was overthrown, they picked Prince Waldmere of Swedeland, third son of King Gustaf V, as his nighfollower and he became George I, King of the Greeks.

As Greekland industrialised, it would fall in the middle of the still-ongoing back-and-forth between Russland and England, besunderly as the Greeks wished to gain land from the rotting and weakening Anatolish Riche—something Russland welcomed and England warned against. Thessaly was handed over in 1881, and Epirus and Crete were taken in the Thessalish Crig of 1897. The greatest boute came in the Illyrish Crig: the Greeks took Macedon in 1912, Thrace in 1913, and Ionia in 1919; Micklegarth, the Greekish headstead, was taken instead by the English, which angered Greekland and threw her into Russland's side for the following yearhundred. A putsch sidelined the monarchy in 1936, and then a series of statesgrips saw Greekland go through a baker's dozen dictators between 1941 and 1949 before steadiness was reached, and orfollowfully warded off the Republic of Anatolia from gainaovering Ionia five times. Most lately, Anatolia began the Sixth Ionish Crig; as a gefollow, Greekland has left the Russish-led Kiew Alliance and made closer forbindings with the west and, after pushing the Anatolish out of Ionia, her soldiers are forwicked in the ongoing Crisis in Anatolia.

Werthship

Greekland has a mixed werthship. While most of the industry and land are selfly-held, the regering holds some bounds on strategish sectors and state-owned geselships are not unheard of. With a Gross Inlandsproduct of $415.14 milliard and a Gross Inlandsproduct by Head of $33,141.113, Greekland has the biggest werthship in Southeuropa. The Drachme, which Greekland shares with the neighbouring Micklegarth, is benitted as the landsgeld, and Athens, her headstead, is also the financialcentre and wealthhub.

Its mostly-berghful landscape notwithstanding, Greekland is among Europa's biggest producers of treewool, rice, oilberry, figs, wolfspeach, and taback, and is the biggest fishing land in South- and Southeastern Europa. Its biggest industry without a tweag is shipbuilding, but other bydrawers inhold food and taback processing, cloths, chemicals, metal products, the digging of aluminium, gold, copper, and manganese, oilrinsing, and lyvestuff. As for the Thirdly Field, sightseeing bydraws a great deal, Greekland's gesheedely sites being some of the most besought landmarks in the world. Some weighty geselships in Greekland are Bank of Piraeus, Landsbank of Greekland, Elliniká Petrélaia AE, Greekish Weapons-Pyrkal AE, Dimosia Epicheirisi Ilektrismou AE, and Mytilineos Holding Group.

The bulk of Greekland's ironwaynetwork is split in two, with the lines in the Mainland and the lines in Ionia being linked together through Micklegarth's ironwaynetwork. The steads of Athens, Thessaloniki, and Smyrna have their own U-Banes, while many other steads have S-Banes, steadbanes, or streetbanes. Most of Greekland's old steadstates being tradehavens, must of Greekland's forchar is done by sea even today; the Corinthish Waterway links the Corinthish Merebosom and the Saronish Merebosom, and some noteworthy havens are Patras, Piraeus, Corinth, Thessaloniki, Heraklion, and Smyrna, all of which are home to Greekland's strong trademarine. The international lofthavens in Athens, Smyrna, and Thessaloniki are the weightiest of their kind in Greekland.

While Greekland's GIP by Head, MOI score, and other likewise criteria are high next to most of its former fellow Lands of the Kiew Alliance and other Southeuropish or nearby lands, they are not much to write home about either. Worklessness besunderly among the youth is high and around a third of the folk fall under the threshold of earmth. The regering bydraws for healthcare, roegehold, socialsickerhood, and openly bilthing through gavel.

Befolking

The Greeks or Hellenes (Greekish: Έλληνες; Éllines) call Greekland their home. Rising out of the Halfieland bearing their name long ago, the Greeks onwicked the wittenship, philosophy, cansts, and buildwork that set the groundlays for Western Civilisation, before leaving a bequest on all of the lands around the Middlemere. Though they've been under another land's rulership for most of their gesheede, they've kept their culture and even beinflowed the Anatolish Saracens and Latinish Romers who for so long ruled them. All in all, Greekland has 12,526,525 folk in her marks, and there are many Greeks living abroad.

Greeks make up the morehood in their own homeland, and 91% of the folk are trueborn Greeks. As for lesserhoods, Serbs make up 2.8% of the befolking, Siguners make up 2.3%, Wallachs 1.9%, Albans 0.9%, Bulgars 0.3%, and some 0.8% are 'others', inholding Russers, Italers, Saracens, Armeniers, Georgiers, and Doechers.

The Orthodox Church in Greekland (Greekish: Ορθόδοξη Εκκλησία στην Ελλάδα; Orthódoxi Ekklisía stin Elláda), which owes truefast to the Oecemenish Highfathership of Micklegarth, is the landschurch of Greekland and has around 84.9% of the folk as its followers. Since the times of the Eastern Romish Riche and besunderly after Greekland fell under Mahometish besetting, Eastern Orthodoxy has been an integral dealth of Greekish selfhood. Around 3.6% of the folk follow Romish Catholicism, a further 0.4% follow sundry Apostolish churches, and 0.1% are 'other' Christers. Christendom aside, 1.9% are Mahometists, 0.3% follow sundry churches Anewed Greekish Heathendom—believing in orold gods such as Zeus, Poseidon, and so on—and a further 0.1% are 'others', while 8.7% are godless.

The morehood of Greeks live in Attica which inholds more than a third of Greekland's befolking. However, Athens, the headstead, is not the biggest stead in all of Greekland, this instead being Smyrna—apart from its own stour befolking, most of the folk living in the Ionish landship have fled to well-befested steads along the coast. Other big steads in Greekland are Athens, Magnesia, Erynina, Thessaloniki, Patras, Heraklion, and Larissa. Greekland is in somewhat of a demographish crisis, with a fruitfulhoodsrate of 1.35 children and an overall growthrate of -1%. The mean Greek may orward to live up to 69.8 years, and the mean eld stands at 45.3 years. Most Greeks can read and write, and there are 1.04 women to every man in Greekland.

Military

Greekland's military crafts are known as the Greekish Stridecrafts (Greekish: Eλληνικές Ένοπλες Δυνάμεις; Ellinikés Énoples Dunámeis). It is a professional body split into five boughs, these are the Kingly Heere (Greekish: Βασιλικός Στρατός; Vasilikós Stratós), the Kingly Marine (Greekish: Βασιλικόν Ναυτικόν; Vasilikón Naftikón), the Kingly Loftmight (Greekish: Ἑλληνικὴ Βασιλικὴ Ἀεροπορία; Vasilikí Polemikí Aeroporía), the Homewear (Greekish: Εθνική Φρουρά; Ethnikí Frourá), and the Greekish Gendarmery (Greekish: Ελληνική Χωροφυλακή; Elliniki Chorofylaki).

The King is the overcommander of the Greekish Stridecrafts, but this is overdrawn to the Prime Minister and, at least within the civilist regering, oversight of the Stridecrafts and its needs are done under the Ministry of Landfordeithing (Greekish: Υπουργείο Εθνικής Άμυνας; Upourgeío Ethnikís Ámunas), while the Gendarmery—being more of a beweaponed Police for Greekland's thorpes, smalltowns, and landship—is under the Ministry of Openly Order (Greekish: Υπουργείο Δημόσιας Τάξης; Ypourgeío Dimósias Táxis). On the military side, this is done by the Kingly Stridecrafts Headquarters (Greekish: Αρχηγείο Βασιλικών Ενόπλων Δυνάμεων; Archigeío Vasilikón Enóplon Dynámeon), which is headed by the Head of the KSCH (Greekish: Αρχηγός; Archigós).

Greekland has a somewhat aughtworthy military for its grett, owing to the longstanding readiness for crig with her eastern neighbour in Anatolia; before 2024 it was outfitted and understutted by Russland and other Lands of the Kiew Alliance, but since the outbreak of the ongoing crig, she has been outfitted by the Europish Bound instead.. The KGSC has 171,647 soldiers in ongoing thenst and 275,000 reservists. Greekland spent around $15.36 milliard on her militarybudget in 2023, roughly 3.7% of its GIP at that time. Greekland has forplightly militarish thenst, with all burghers—but not burgherines—reaching the eld of 18 must thane in the Homewear for 12 months; the Homewear will upmarch and outbilthen soldiers twice a year, but only be sent to fordeithe an ongripe on the Greekish homeland, with the military dealing with outward threats.
