The EPSA [East Pacific Sovereign Armada] is the fighting force of The East Pacific. We defend our region, as well as it's allies and friends. The EPSA operates within military gameplay, and we try to have fun while doing our part to keep the region safe from harm.[/box]

[box][center][size=120][b][font=Verdana]What is military gameplay?[/font][/b][/size][/center]

Military gameplay can be summed up in a simple way as conflict between different regions and militaries on NationStates. It can seem quite complicated at first glance, but in reality it's quite simple.

NationStates updates twice a day, every twelve hours. During these updates, the site logs every region, and every nation in that region. Whichever nation holds the most endorsements within a region, is assigned the delegacy. Military gameplay involves working around these updates, and controlling who is elected delegate. The delegacy is a vitally important position for every region, as delegates hold an immense amount of power over just about everything in a region.

You will see two terms thrown around frequently. These are raiding and defending. These are the two sides of the coin on which most of military gameplay operates. In simple terms, raiders attempt to overthrow a region's delegate and seize control of the region, defenders try to stop them. There are big organisations on both sides of what's referred to as "R/D", and they'll frequently butt heads and try to defeat or outsmart the other using a variety of tactics. 

Military gameplay is massively influential on the world of NationStates politics. Just about any serious region hosts a military force, and The East Pacific is no different. Taking part in the military opens the door to a whole new side of NationStates you may not have been familiar with before, allowing you to meet new friends, and explore a new side of the game that's absolutely jam-packed full of history.

Joining the EPSA opens the door to an incredible amount of opportunities. Not only are you doing your part to ensure the safety of our region and its members, but you're also making new friends and taking part in what is often an incredibly exciting and action-packed adventure. Military gameplay goes from 0-100 real quick, one day you may be sitting in TEP, endorsing the Delegate and waiting for your next posting, then within an hour you could be hanging out in the Discord with your comrades, restlessly waiting to jump into a region and crush our enemies.

The EPSA is also an opportunity for you to rough-up those who bring you, our region or the whole site pain or annoyance. The EPSA has a long history of punching fascists in the mouth, and let me tell you, nothing feels better than stomping into a neo-nazi region with your friends and ejecting the lot of them back to The Rejected Realms. In the EPSA, you can rest easy knowing you're part of one of the site's largest and most influential fighting forces. Whether you're here to kick butt full-time, or whether you're just looking for a bit of excitement here and there, there's nothing more fun and honourable you can do than serving your region and rising through the ranks.
