Political Parties of the Solar Union

The Solar Union has a few central political parties representing vast and broad ideologies, I'll start with the current ruling party, the Blue Party.

The Blue Party is known for campaigning about true democratic ideals, such as complete freedom of the individual, government-supported anonymity, and law enforcement by the community. However, they rarely get support in such areas of the government and look to indirectly influence them through executive and legislative positions.

Next, let's talk about the Solar Party, which is the major opposition to the Blue Party.

The Solar Party does stuff, it's the "meat of the operation", and it has done most of the important stuff in the past, it is employed in most of the direct jobs of the government, jobs which do the actual stuff the uppers-up command. It prides itself on finding a balance between insuring collective security and safety versus the privacy of the individual. President John D.F from this party is known by many has being the best president in the history of the Solar Union, he is also the originator of this party's motto, "We were not made to bring society into heaven, but to rather save it from hell".

Then the third major party, the Socialist Party. Also known as a terrorist group, or two.

The Socialist Party is infamous for the Martian war, it started with the party taking over Mars and then turning it into a totalitarian one-party state, the Solar Union fought a long but uneventful guerrilla war and the Socialist Party is still here to this day, also having established the Martian Armed Forces (MAF) which is infamous for the 4th March incident, and various other terrorist activities. Recently they have took over Pluto and done mostly the same to it, also establishing the Plutonian Brotherhood (PB), but there is a strong resistance there known as the Plutonian Revolutionaries, who are backed up and supported by the Solar Union but themselves have engaged in some terrorist activities against communists.
