The Praesidium is a branch of the government. This branch of the government is the security system of the region. It is made up of Viziers who are entrusted with the region's security. They are to defend the region against a coup d'état and against any invasion.

The Viziers are nominated by the Delegate and confirmed by the Magisterium. They serve indefinitely.

The Viziers select amongst themselves four members who will become Regional Officers with the power to eject or ban nations. The other members are required to maintain high endorsement counts.

The Praesidium has internal rules and regulations called "The Standing Orders of the Praesidium". These manage the internal functions of the Praesidium such as who leads the Praesidium.

The leader of the Praesidium is the Grand Vizier. They represent the Praesidium to other branches of government and control The East Pacific's police service.

Under specific circumstances, the Praeisidium may suspend the Delegate. If the Delegate is suspended, removed, or resigns from office, the Praesidium selects a Vizier to assume on in-game Delegacy.
