Storugles were commonly thought to be nothing but a myth for centuries until more recently, often thought of as exaggerated depictions of griffins. However, they are vastly different from griffins in appearance and their traits. They prefer colder climates, hunting only small rodents and seabirds, they will stay away from humans at all costs. All storugles are born male, but when two meet they will battle each other and the loser becomes female. Once a storugle turns female, they can not ever become male again. Female storugles will stay with their male till death, while females are loyal, males are constantly in pursuit of finding each other to make their harem bigger.
